i absolutely adore tana so please dont take this the wrong way but she isnt actually good at poker lol. poker tournaments involve a lot of luck. i watched the entire 6 hour ordeal. she is right, she did stick to her strategy of playing overly tight, to the point where she actually made mistakes. she was down to one big blind and she folded pocket eights. she would have gotten a triple up! to be fair it wasnt a professional tournament so a lot of people didnt realize they needed to go all in with certain hands but she did not make a single aggressive action in the entire tournament. thats not a winning poker strategy. but anyone can win poker tournaments its about luck, she was forced all in with 96 offsuit after getting down to her last chips and hit a straight for a quadruple up. tournaments are actually really good for people who are new to poker, cash games are much more difficult (I watched her play cash on hustler casino live and it was not great sadly) i think she would benefit tremendously from a poker coach. i'm excited to see her play on the cruise tournament she was talking about and i'll always be rooting for her regardless
