This seems like the perfect drone! I’ve also seen video of 4k upscaled mavic mini and I honest have no idea why people say you can’t use this for “professional work” commercial work ok maybe not but for weddings or couples/engagement shoots. Absolutely, you can use this drone for that. The footage is so clear and so sharp. “Especially, if it’s in good light” if it’s in low light it’s “passable” with the mavic mini 2 surely having even more clear and better footage in low light.
I definitely wouldn't call the camera 'professional', especially since 40Mbps is rather low bit rate that can be surpassed by some of the pro level stuff from 10 years ago. But you get a vantage point you can't get from say your non-drone cameras. The Mini's footage won't really cut close to what I could achieve on my Panasonic GH4 with a good lens (100Mbps rate, and much larger sensor), but I can't exactly get the same vantage point with my GH4, let alone stabilize it as well as the mini's built in gimbal. To try to squeeze a little more out of it I use the Litchi Beta app to turn down the sharpness, contrast, and saturation a tiny bit so that there's a little bit more data to work with in video editing (ie: details/textures not lost to the camera's default being a little aggressive on processing). A tiny bit of noise reduction of needed, which will soften it a tiny bit in areas that aren't edges, then add some sharpness, and throw on a 4K grain overlay for some texture, and it'll look just fine. :P or just make it look really nice at 1080p downsampling from there (or trying out the Dolly zoom effect). But yes, compared to everything else I shoot, the Mini's camera/sensor is the worst I have, and it's not really that great compared to a non-drone camera for the same price. But it's probably the best you're going to get for the price while being able to take it up high.
@@AntoniPaquet Though I'm talking about "now". And how it compares to something even 10 years ago. (My Pentax Q10 from 2012 with the same size sensor outperforms it).
I'm not a pro photographer. I already got rid of my Mavic mini for an SG906pro 2. If you tweak it, it's the best point and shoot drone for a couple of hundred bucks (with extra batteries).
you mention that outside the US the range will be less. Are you including Canada in the reduced range? I believe you are incorrect as the Canadian Mini was exactly the same as the one sold in the US. I don't see this changing in the new drone.
Hi, Jesus. Yes, the mini 2 is definitely going to be better than the spark in every way (besides durability). It's better to get the fly more combo of the mini 2 in that budget
I would save some money to get the air 2 fly more combo, or with those $700 you can buy the standard version, and with the time if you have the option or enough savings to buy another battery, it would be great. The Mavic air 2 its an awesome drone, I started with the mini, but the air 2 doesn't have comparison, it's better in every way. The only thing is that you need to register your drone with the FAA that costs $5 in case you are in USA, and its a 5 years recreational license, you can do that online in the FAA website, it takes 5 minutes, the MA2 worths every penny. If you buy it at the dji official website you don't pay shipping nor taxes, which is great.

I use it all the time for my clients. People bashing it are just stupid.
I notice that JDI are now classing the Mini 2 as professional level.

Remember that 480p was pro grade back then and the majority of the people enjoyed it anyway.

Would you recommend this or the Mavic Mini OG
Sorry for the late response. For sure this one! ruclips.net/video/aWPVSeue7Og/видео.html

don't care about active track but waypoint would be cool!!!!
Yes, they might add some new flight modes, hopefully

I mean fcc mode vs CE mode. It might be that Canada still works with fcc. However it really doesn't matter as they re both great ranges
good video!
Thanks David! See you around then 🦧
Hi, my friend, I had plans to buy the Mavi Air 2, but my budget is 700 dollars, I have the DJI Spark, do you think the Mini 2 is a good option?

I
sold air 2 to buy mini 2!
