I wish Konami would listen. I feel like the community is pretty vocal with the dissatisfaction of the way skills have turned out. They’re too broken, too wordy, and completely rely fully on the skill to make the deck actually work. It’s so dumb that nothing in my opening ghostrick hand actually starts my plays. It’s the fucking yellow button in the corner of the screen.
the "vocal community" is pretty much a minority imo, the majority of people don't care, and a significant portion is spending enough money to keep this afloat, so...
Being fair, Ghostrick was straight up shafted by the mechanic changes to begin with. Hard to make a deck work when they're reliant on being able to flip face down and don't get the second main phase to do that.
Trust me, TRUST me you wont regret it. The moment things get out of hand, Konami deal with it instantly, and they dont add glue eating garbage. The balancing is top tier in Rush. Psychics were recently bordering tier 0 and they straight away hit it but it can still compete. Also lots of Archetypes in Yugioh Go Rush are really fun to play, so Rush has a really bright future. The guy 👇 can have this 🖕 ;)
Oh boy I sure cant wait to play magical meltdown in one year once it releases in a main box with zero other invoked support while the deck is completely worthless because it got powercreeped 7 times :)
I gave up on Duel Links in June, last Year. Honestly, all the times I think about returning to the game, I see the state of the game, and I just continue my retirement. It's sad, because I really like this game
@tajwilson2913 this thing is out of control, not only the format, but the monetization too. Recently people are complaining about how much URs and SRs you need in a MD deck today, but if you compare the amount of Gems and CP UR you get every month to the resources you need to have the top tier Meta deck, it's still not that expensive. In Duel Links you have decks how has their full power locked in a paywall and bullshit tier 0 decks that you can make plays out of thin air. Man I really miss 2016-2021 Duel Links, at least the Skills are less powerfull and incentivized you to do actual plays and use some of your brain

14:00 True, since Rush Dream Tickets became a thing, they reduced the amount of UR Dream Tickets overall and in the "Thank you" campaign, where Konami "thanks" all players to spend time on this game, they just gave out a rush sr dt and not a single dt for speed players. And I think instead of giving out an ace monster from the protagonists with that chronicle ticket, I think everyone would be happier to get the chronik set itself to choose their favorite cards instead of a predetermined card which most of them are already f2p aquireable.
Seriously, and even then the Rush DTs have maybe 3 worthwhile cards. Why couldn't Rush have been its own app, instead of being a malignant tumor splitting the playerbase AND siphoning releases and tickets?

Something else that may interest you: other announcements from Konami reveal that the structure deck contains Armed Neos, Stratos AND Sunrise, and we can assume that we’ll get 1 copy for free and another with the 1000 gems we get from the celebration (like Darkfluid). This means this BS, severely overpowered deck will be EVERYWHERE until it’s untimely demise. We could be on track for an official Tier 0 here.

2 main points, 1 not quite related to the video. 1) konami damn always does this with decks that are loved. Selection box and multiple main box. We're seeing it with nadir servant/dogmatika. We saw it with strikers and shaddoll. Hate that nadir servant N'tss will give a free pop (and of course search which will search another dogmatika card). So sad goddess also selection box. 2) genuinely think if it wasn't for 1 skill (you know who are glue eaters with free super poly), this would be one of the healthiest metas out there. Even lyri and preda feels a lot more balanced to play against after their nerfs.

It feels like every time Komoney adds something new, Speed keeps dying more and more. Fire Konami as a whole at this point. Speed needs to do a massive Ban List to kill the current format in order to have even a chance to save it anymore. Not to mention several Unlimits that should not have happened like Punishment, cards that escaped the list for too long such as the Sky Striker Spells, aside from Engage and Widow Anchor, those are on there, draw engines that enable FTKs, and of course, the FTKers themselves like Turtle, Warlock and Imitation in particular. A LOT needs to change if Speed even has a CHANCE to be saved.

Atleast there is no meta staples this year like Droplet. Some of these cards generic cards are decent but not a must have. I have no idea why they put in the Amazement stuff in the Selection box. That support should have come much earlier and even with it the deck wouldnt be that good.
Honestly this meta has done it for me I'm done with online Yu-Gi-Oh as a whole because I can't stand the oversaturated ladder with all the most tryhard and toxic decks people can possibly cook in some obscure basement. It's a shame because I was looking forward to tri brigade and dragonmaids but what's the point getting new decks just for their pure versions to be completely shat on?

I will cripple my self with generic skills that do nothing but add cards to my deck just to not have skills play the game for me. Selection Boxes have always been a scam from day one. The cost is I send a card to the graveyard and then I can also summon that thing I sent to the field The cost is wasting everyone's time sending a thing to the graveyard to summon it anyway, yaaay! It was soo hard, Heroes deserve all the praises for being such a difficult deck
The Closed World Goddess is one card that I enjoyed in MD. The Ntss is intended for something I already dislike which is dumping ED cards. Aside from Herald, Drytron, or Voiceless I don’t like the implications. And Branded cards are my enemy till the sun sets. I wouldn’t invest this box for one card that I enjoy. I’d rather stick with Lyriluscs for games here and there.
Its a shame that I dont enjoy rush duels as much as speed. Also im kinda sad that they keep gatekeeping the best generic cards in selection boxes, but I get why they do it.
I’ll just say this: ENJOY THE HERO STUFF WHILE WE CAN CAUSE AFTER THR FIRST KC CUP of THE YEAR the hero cards will get hit hard. Stratos cross keeper and liquid solider will be limited to 2 So u have to run 3 calls
Im happy with the cards we just got. In the new box we got Dragonmaids! An archetype we wanted for years! Too bad i keep pulling all this Tri-brigade stuff. Like i dont even know how to play that deck, and i got like every tri-brigade card!
People can disagree with this, but Invoked will still do nothing with Magical Meltdown. As long as Glue HERO and Predaplant are the best decks in the game, Invoked decks are going to be terrible. Good luck getting Mechaba to stick when it gets outed for literally free. Players got hyped up when Nibiru and Dark Ruler No More got leaked in their Selection Boxes, and they were mid at best. Do the research and stop to think about it before spending. I don't know why more people realise Selection Boxes are just pure scam fuel. It's just not worth it unless you're doing tournaments with cash prizing. You can KoG with anything now a days. The only thing that matters to me is the Rush Duel stuff because the Rush format isn't a complete dumpster fire.
Tbh before the rush banlist after looking at recent goha rush festival thingy, I'd argue the results were dumpster fire with how psychics did. But they got a hit (and weirdly metarion didn't?) so I'd agree Rush does feel way more balanced right now.

I can't say I'm impressed Nadir Servant is there, at least apkalone is nonwere tonbe seen, which means I have no reason to go into this selection box to play shaddoll, but it's sad that magic meltdown is locked in there too...Goddess is good but probably won't see play now. But that doesn't change the current meta we are heading to, with the Hero structure deck coming to make the deck even better, well, guess I will keep gathering gems for the possible salamangreat support in the end of the month
underworld is prob gonna be terrible, as you need at least 3 if you want to get rid of a l2, and need 4 monsters or a l2 of your own and 2 others to go into it, and it doesnt one shot the opp.
the "isn't this super fun" counter is off the charts in this video! tbf, these cards are indeed fun and interesting, but it sucks they will be paywalled for over a year... And I could understand it if it was staples (like Sol and Luna or Small World), but some of these are core cards to their strategies (some of which are not even that good), this must be the most evil/greedy move by konami yet.

I would avoid it. Highroll for a one of is possible but not recommended. I grabbed an individual Droplet on its first run before the latest box made it accessible.

I mean, as annoying as Super Polymerization is, I don't think Konami will outright ban the card because it's from a paid bundle. What, you're going to just screw over the thousands of players that paid money for the Super Polymerization bundle? That's just a bad business move by Konami if they release a bundle only for that aforementioned bundle to later get banned. What is a problem (and what I think needs to be addressed immediately) is the plethora of broken skills that play the deck for you. Dragonic Contact is an example of that since the skill once again searches Super Polymerization, the most broken board breaker in the game. Super Polymerization on its own is fine, I have no problem with it, but I do have a problem with skills letting you search a very powerful card for free. Super Polymerization is literally on the limit one banlist AND a hard one-of to make it harder for you to have it in your opening hand, but that reasoning is basically a moot point if skills can just grab Super Polymerization from Deck to Hand whenever you want. Hopefully Dragonic Contact is addressed in the next banlist though, btu I don't have my hopes up on that happening since Konami wants to sell the new 2025 HERO slop.

The powerful cards are not the issues. It is the skills that grant free summons and recycle your cards that makes building your castle pointless.

I have no idea why they put in the Amazement stuff in the Selection box. That support should have come much earlier and even with it the deck wouldnt be that good.

Honestly this meta has done it for me I'm done with online Yu-Gi-Oh as a whole because I can't stand the oversaturated ladder with all the most tryhard and toxic decks people can possibly cook in some obscure basement. It's a shame because I was looking forward to tri brigade and dragonmaids but what's the point getting new decks just for their pure versions to be completely shat on?

Selection Boxes have always been a scam from day one. Realising that the cards will release in a future box later down the line anyway meant it was just a long waiting game.

The Closed World Goddess is one card that I enjoyed in MD. The Ntss is intended for something I already dislike which is dumping ED cards. Aside from Herald, Drytron, or Voiceless I don’t like the implications. And Branded cards are my enemy till the sun sets. I wouldn’t invest this box for one card that I enjoy. I’d rather stick with Lyriluscs for games here and there.
Its a shame that I dont enjoy rush duels as much as speed. Also im kinda sad that they keep gatekeeping the best generic cards in selection boxes, but I get why they do it.
I’ll just say this: ENJOY THE HERO STUFF WHILE WE CAN CAUSE AFTER THR FIRST KC CUP of THE YEAR the hero cards will get hit hard.

People can disagree with this, but Invoked will still do nothing with Magical Meltdown. As long as Glue HERO and Predaplant are the best decks in the game, Invoked decks are going to be terrible. Good luck getting Mechaba to stick when it gets outed for literally free. Players got hyped up when Nibiru and Dark Ruler No More got leaked in their Selection Boxes, and they were mid at best. Do the research and stop to think about it before spending.
I don't know why more people realise Selection Boxes are just pure scam fuel. It's just not worth it unless you're doing tournaments with cash prizing. You can KoG with anything now a days.
The only thing that matters to me is the Rush Duel stuff because the Rush format isn't a complete dumpster fire.
Tbh before the rush banlist after looking at recent goha rush festival thingy, I'd argue the results were dumpster fire with how psychics did.
But they got a hit (and weirdly metarion didn't?) so I'd agree Rush does feel way more balanced right now.
@@exursist Metarion got slightly hit with Star Restart getting limit 3, so some builds that uses Ghost Cyclone will be adjusted. To be fair, they usually just use the Machine pop card

I can't say I'm impressed Nadir Servant is there, at least apkalone is nonwere tonbe seen, which means I have no reason to go into this selection box to play shaddoll, but it's sad that magic meltdown is locked in there too...Goddess is good but probably won't see play now.
But that doesn't change the current meta we are heading to, with the Hero structure deck coming to make the deck even better, well, guess I will keep gathering gems for the possible salamangreat support in the end of the month

underworld is prob gonna be terrible, as you need at least 3 if you want to get rid of a l2, and need 4 monsters or a l2 of your own and 2 others to go into it, and it doesnt one shot the opp.
Underworld goddess can easily be summon and fit well in livetwin unchained deck or pure livetwin....

tbf, these cards are indeed fun and interesting, but it sucks they will be paywalled for over a year... And I could understand it if it was staples (like Sol and Luna or Small World), but some of these are core cards to their strategies (some of which are not even that good), this must be the most evil/greedy move by konami yet.

I mean, as annoying as Super Polymerization is, I don't think Konami will outright ban the card because it's from a paid bundle. What, you're going to just screw over the thousands of players that paid money for the Super Polymerization bundle? That's just a bad business move by Konami if they release a bundle only for that aforementioned bundle to later get banned.
What is a problem (and what I think needs to be addressed immediately) is the plethora of broken skills that play the deck for you. Dragonic Contact is an example of that since the skill once again searches Super Polymerization, the most broken board breaker in the game. Super Polymerization on its own is fine, I have no problem with it, but I do have a problem with skills letting you search a very powerful card for free. Super Polymerization is literally on the limit one banlist AND a hard one-of to make it harder for you to have it in your opening hand, but that reasoning is basically a moot point if skills can just grab Super Polymerization from Deck to Hand whenever you want. Hopefully Dragonic Contact is addressed in the next banlist though, btu I don't have my hopes up on that happening since Konami wants to sell the new 2025 HERO slop.
