"i hope i say name correctly" 😃How about you tell us how the heck you pronounce finnish names and words so well. You said it, again, just like finns do. It is extremely impressive.
I have to read Eastern European NBA names for the Memphis Grizzlies spots I voice here in Nashville. Between the NBA and following International football, I'm starting to pick up how names are pronounced! Cheers! Eric
@@TheWyldesidewithEricClark Thats cool. I have noticed that many times how well you do that. Finns say words fast just like you said. Finnish is one of the hardest languages in the world and pronunciation is extremely hard.
This is about hardcore alcoholism, drinking and refusing to talk to people before getting that first drink. The lyrics went by so fast that I might be wrong.
Design your Universe (live Retrospect) / Unleashed (live Retrospect ), Cry for the Moon(live Retrospect) - Epica I remember you - Skid Row (live) Soulbound - Unleash the Archers Burning Time (live) / Dracula - Iced Earth Ategnatos / King - Eluveitie Rebel in the F.G.D. or The great Missconceptions of Me - W.A.S.P
Wow, you’re going down a folk metal rabbit hole. There is a difference between western and eastern and frankly Northern Europe when it comes folk in the metal. Eluveitie is based on Celtic music with timing of a jig or a reel. Korp, is based on something I think hummpa, Finn’s correct me, which is like polka type time signature. These guys are great at festivals, dancing and swinging your beer around with a bunch of other dirty drunk dudes in black shirts. Good times.
this is like lynyrd skynyrd guys landing in Finland and take LSD and then something happens :) i love it. thanx to great reaction and have wonderful weekend. cheers. slade, finish radio rock just talking about slade this week :)
Can I also recommend Dalriada? They're a Hungarian folk metal band, strangely both more folky and more metal than Korpiklaani at the same time. Maybe try Betyár-altató? But do have subtitles on: ruclips.net/video/reSszVYoB58/видео.html
I'm an old folkie who loves metal, and fortunately they go very well together. Probably my favourite Korpiklaani song is Henkselipoika, which is a little further up the folk end. It's got a great video, and again you don't need to understand any Finnish to follow the story: ruclips.net/video/ZB7PyLYQyXg/видео.html (Incidentally, the hungover guy in the video you just watched appears in a large number of their videos)
Well, if you love partymetal an ocean of sound awaits you. Check out Nanowar of Steel - Norwegian Reggeaton or Valhalleluja for some weird and awesome genre mixes. Check out Devin Townsend - Why? (Live, with band, but also his quarantine solo video is great). Check out Alestorm - Drink, Zombies Ate My Pirate Ship, or P.A.R.T.Y. for some irish folk metal party music. Those are just some modern ones - metal party music dates back to the creation of metal. One of my early favorites was Mr. Ed Jumps the Gun (yes, that's the name of the group) - Wild Thang is here, for example: ruclips.net/video/pp6WPYKRaI0/видео.html
And obviously Primus. And I can't believe I didn't mention Steel Panther. You really need to check out Steel Panther. All their songs are great, just like Alestorm. And you've obviously already heard of Spinal Tap.
I can say that you pronounce the names perfectly. how about Korpiklaani - leväluhta next. ruclips.net/video/DNzHB9hqiKU/видео.html Greetings from Finland 🇫🇮🤘
Accordeon in metal? Easy! Epic one, try Finsterforst - Mach Dich Frei or Nichts als Asche or Zeit für Hass. Btw, this in not the best Korpiklaani song 3.5/5.
Again I highly suggest Steve 'n' Seagulls version of "Thunderstruck". This was a fun song. Very high energy.
I concur
^This.

I concur.

@@TheWyldesidewithEricClark nice! i've never heard any NBA commentator say "Lauri Markkanen" even close :D
Korpi means backwaters or swamp in Finnish and Klaani, well clan. Most of their musicvideos, atleast newer, are filmed in forrest or at swamp
I love that you mentioned slade, I grew up with it , it was one of my grandma’s favorite bands
Thank you Sir! Great band, having fun! Great lyrics also. Amazing live shows and good videos also, with a Finnish twist!

Korpi cover anthrax covering Joe jackson ....
And making it sound wonderful.

Henkselipoilka is a great song. The music video tells the story well, it at least tells a story, cause i cant find any translation
Please make a dna test as You talk as we do around here in Finland... .. and a reaction to Steve 'n' Seagulls would be much appreciated. Thx!

Great song and video
I concur.
Song sounds like "Anthrax - Got The Time"
Which is is a cover of, which in turn is a cover of the Joe Jackson song.
How can one be so thirsty after drinking the whole night!?

Why oh why... I have recommend good Finnish metal for you time after time and you choose this 😂🤷🏼♀️
