Whether he is aware of it or not, Thomas Rainwater is "cinflicted." He lives in the 21st century, but has a "duty" to his ancestors and that is to PRESERVE THE LAND. The "conflict" is he wants to BUILD CASINOS and HOTELS on land he acquires. At least John Dutton's primary goals are to PRESERVE THE LAND and HIS WAY OF LIFE.
Couldn't agree more. Because A, you could tell she was reading off Gil's wikipedia page here with the questions she was asking. And B, she handles having an interviewee as well as Ellen DeGeneres does, right down to how she asks questions, very blunt and head on. And big note on that particular style, not everyone's comfortable with it, some people might find it overwhelming. No seriously, just by reading Gil's body language I could kinda tell that, especially as I've seen his other interviews before and with other interviewers he isn't as, uncomfortable, persay. Usually alot more chill in other interviews. Over here you can just feel the awkwardness roll off the poor man in waves.
His voice is awesome, I wished I had this kind of voice
Why do I want Gil to read me a story lol. Great actor . Love his voice 😁

The conflict you speak of is as essential to life as anything else. In simple words, it is called revenge and everything is fair in love and war.
The host is the worst interviewer ever. Just terrible.
she is sexy tho

Exactly, how many times did she say 'fantastic'? And she was just stilted and awkward, clearly hired for her 'hotness' or nepotism.
I was going to say the same thing. He was unbelievably gracious about it. He's a great actor and a gorgeous man!
100% she is so cringe. I know most people could have done a better job. Shocking who can get interviewer jobs these days
