Great video James, some fantastic pickups. Can't go wrong with some STP, I have 'Thank You' on cd. It's a excellent compilation album, didn't know it had been released on vinyl. Nice pickup there with the 'Circle of Stone', love Blaze Bayley! That dark blue vinyl looks superb. Like you, I thought that 'War Within Me' was far better than Blaze's recent record, though the band sounds still in top form. Vocals are good as always. Cheers buddy 🤘😎
Always liked them first 3 Thunder albums, i kind of checked out after that 3rd album, great double live cd i got recently, Thunder Live at Donington 1990 and 1992, two great shows.
I like how you mix metal and everything else together in your Updates James. It seems a lot of 90's albums are having anniversarys this year. So good re-issues with extended tracks e.t.c A bit expensive for us collectors however. Cool to see your latest additions to the collection.
I love the way you start with he soft stuff first then end with the hard stuff - I lean dramatically towards extreme metal as you know, im a SFU fan, they get a lot of stick but I love em
Always remember seeing Job for Cowboy when Megadeth were touring United Abominations or something along those lines. They were booed to high heaven! Evile were the opener and they were quality. My fave SF under album and one i've yet to grab on wax, probably their strongest album for me too lyrically and riff wise.
Nice update, Mr. B! Plenty of great stuff in here. In particular, I love a bit of Stone Temple Pilots, but don't actually have any of their stuff on any physical format in my collection, which I need to change! You've also left me tempted to pick up Weezer's debut now, as well as that Smashing Pumpkins Greatest Hits. Both look really nice on vinyl! I LOVED that Job For A Cowboy album back in around 2007 when it came out, but I must admit I probably haven't listened to it at all in the years since, nor any of their other stuff. By the sounds of it, I should! Enjoy the new spins, mate. Cheers! 🤘
I'm really happy to get those Weezer and Smashing Pumpkins releases on vinyl. Stone Temple Pilots is definitely worth adding to your collection. Job For A Cowboy are a band whose albums have improved over the length of their career. Cheers as always mate 👍
Hi James!!! Another cool update as always and with a fun mix of styles/genres too..... I know Thunder's name but never heard (i think) their music. Three cool records from 90's bands, hope there's a proper release of STP's "Unplugged". I watched the first single of Blaze's latest album, good track. He seems to be releasing solid material and very consistent. cheers and be well
Cool update. Don't know much about Thunder but sounds intriguing. I Like the original Metal album from Annihilator but never heard this version. Blaze Bailey I've heard good things about it. Six Feet Under is a great album I like their early work alot. And that Deep Purple album is pretty good but not great. Good stuff!
Another great update there James. Good to see some Thunder, I'm debating whether to pick that album up or not. The Smashing Pumpkins HTs is fantastic, I had it tape recorded back in the day and wore the tape out, have since picked up a cd copy but a vinyl addition would be nice for the collection. Good to see you've picked up Blaze's new album. Yeah it's probably not quite as good as the previous, but that would be a hard follow for any band, it's definitely a grower though. It was released on green and blue vinyl, so it looks like you've got the blue version. Enjoy the new music.
Cool pickups James! I got Annihilator Metal II a few years ago, I really enjoy it! I'll need to hear the original so I can compare. Need to check out some Blaze, and those Maiden albums he sang on. Cool to see the debut Job For A Cowboy, that's awesome! It's a good album, but I've always liked the second one more. I'm going to get their new one before the year is out. Nice one 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Pretty nice additions. Recently I got Diamond Head's Lightning to the Nations and Angel Witch self-titled on CD. Both are a must have if you're a fan of classic heavy metal.
Hi James, great to see Deep Purple mate! Mandrake Root I love from the record, very Vanilla Fudge influenced album. Man If you havent checked out Captain Beyond with Rod Evans singing, give it a try. Wonderful gear. Nice shirt by the way! Have you made any vids on Lizzy, you prob have and I just cant remember. Id be interested to hear yer thoughts on some of their records.Nice pick ups mate, enjoy!
some great additions to your collection me ode, I also bought an early Deep Purple album on vinyl, The Book Of Taliesyn (Mono), got it new from 'his masters voice'.... I also got Saxon's - into the labyrinth & The Vibrators - V2 latest reissues (both MOV), In Extremo's new album, Wolkenschieber (cloud shifter/pusher) is arriving tomorrow and the latest reissues from the Butthole Surfers should be landing Saturday or early next week, a busy week for me, makes a change LOL. take care dude
I think both versions of Annihilator Metal are good, I really like Stu’s vocals. Drummer on the original is Mike Mangini. It’s too bad Operation Annihilation was included on Metal II, Jeff somehow lost the file for that song, so they inserted the Van Halen cover of Romeo Delight.
I thought the drummer might have been Randy Black but yes it was Mike Mangini, cheers for the correction Darcy. I thnk that Romeo Delight cover is outstanding. Cheers mate
Nice collection update James! Cool to see some non-metal bands like Stone Temple Pilots and Smashing Pumpkins. Good to see Annihilator and Blaze Bayley as well.
I actually don’t know Buddy Holly by Weezer but I know and like Hashpipe which I have on a 90s playlist in my car. I enjoy a couple of bands in that genre but never dived in fully. I’ve picked up a few unofficial albums and need to do an update with them 🤘🤘Wildside Under the Influence just got the unofficial treatment and had to have it
@bvdaussiemetalhead9338 Wow, I'm amazed you don't know Buddy Holly. Hash Pipe is a banger I agree. I saw you picked up that Wildside boot on Instagram. Tempted to grab that as an OG is impossible to come by. Cheers mate 👍
Never heard of Thunder!!!! I heard of Cinderella and Boston but not Thunder. talk about a band that looks very different Deep Purple where has time gone? what's the difference between 90's Alternative hard rock and 90's alternative Rock? @@mrboulder9714 1989 had one good album I guess you can say not great but not horrible it's not Shout at the devil it's not Kiss sonic boom Dr. Feelgood was the only good album out that year and most likely it's an ok album. 1990 had one good album Alice in Chains - Facelift 1991 one good album Metallica - Black album 1992 had one good album Alice in Chains - Dirt
A nice eclectic mix of genres, Mr B. Always good to see what you've added to your collection.
Cheers Sean. A bit of variety is always good mate 👍
Nice diverse update there! Good stuff. The new Blaze rocks :)
Agreed Kim. The new Blaze album is very solid. Cheers mate
Cheers Mr. B
Cheers Anthony
That’s the best six feet under album. Cheers mate.
It's one of my favourite's. Cheers Mark
Great Six Feet Under album! First one heard. Some killer songs!
It's a great album Dave. Cheers mate

I think the STP best of was only released on vinyl earlier this year mate. New Blaze album is a solid release mate. Cheers Kenan
Always liked them first 3 Thunder albums, i kind of checked out after that 3rd album, great double live cd i got recently, Thunder Live at Donington 1990 and 1992, two great shows.

They definitely don't deserve a lot of the hate they receive definitely. Cheers Lee as always mate 👍

JFAC do get an unnecessary amount of hate I think. Yeah, that Six Feet Under album is a banger. Cheers mate

@mrboulder9714 Yeah, I much prefer the 2nd one to the debut. But the ones after that I'm yet to check out. You're welcome mate ☺️🤘🏻
Pretty nice additions. Recently I got Diamond Head's Lightning to the Nations and Angel Witch self-titled on CD. Both are a must have if you're a fan of classic heavy metal.
Cheers fella. Yes I have both of those. They're both essentially NWOBHM
Great video! Some great additions. Love that Weezer album too. Cheers
