Linus.... Its coming to the US 😂
Who
First thing I thought too 😂
Like anyone can get this in their house it’s not gonna fit in most homes
I'm pretty sure that video was filmed like November at least, he had that thing WAAAAAAAAAAAY early. The comments did point out that most of the sales for that display are in-store rather than online, but suffice as I know up until CES only Linus had that exact model of TV in North America.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 LINUS ONE WILL ALWAYS BE CHINESE 😂😂😂😂
115 inches isn't a TV, it's a billboard.
😅😅😅😅 billboard starts at 200 ''
@@LEMON48…. Wow we are actually gettimg close.
😅
TCL said under 20k, but given how last year's tcl tvs were heavily discounted year round, you could probably buy this around $11k.
Yup under 10k by Christmas
Yeah right LMAO. No shot this is going to be around 11k. This isnt a TV you can run to best buy and pick up. You have to pay for delivery and professional install
@@BCJDM Unless you're a cretinous cad like Linus who can hire their own unprofessional install, plus film crew to make up the difference
@@BCJDM Same as 98"
Like 11k is cheap/
Lets all just teleport in our big massive TVs
Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Rebirth and the final game would be so awesome on this!
It's the QM8 24 version I'm most interested in, that the real flagship for the year. We've been told 5000 zones / 5000 nits which is assume is for the largest model, does anyone know the breakdown of dimming zones per TV size?
Isnt this the one Linus LTT has in his basement?
He had the Chinese model
@@E96 his is TCL also, and this one. Both are Chinese. I think it's the same tv they're just showcasing it in north America now
bro went through all that effort just to get it 6 months early 🤭
Dead Pixie Linus! Buwahahahahahaha 😅😂
I can’t stand how crappy and finicky projectors are so this 115 TV is exactly what I’m looking for!!
The TCL Bloom-A-Tron 2000. 😅
Really looking to switch from projector to giant TV. 100 isn't quite big enough to replace my 140 inch set up but I feel like I could live with a 115 inch TV. However, I'd be waiting for a lower model in that size. You can currently get a tcl 98 inch lower model for 2000. I'd consider a lower model 115 for 4000. Doesn't seem like a crazy markup for the extra 17 inches. Maybe 5000 but that's it.
cant remember the last time I watched TV though
I'm buying me one of those to replace my 95"
When can we buy it, how good is it for gaming and consoles?
Thank you Linus
No, really though, LTT has the only review of that model in the English-speaking world (last I checked) and it's thorough enough that prospective buyers are gonna be hovering that buy button once it drops.
insane thats a dream size 115
Those planetary scenes on the TV should be accompanied with some type of wonders of the universe space operatic ahhhhh type music to give that feeling of being on top of the world watching a universe-sized TV.
The images on that TV look great on my screen...
Coming soon to your local Costco😂
When
For $1000.
Ia this the LTT-tv?
Does it have Gorilla Glass for durability?
No But They Will Sale You A Screen Saver For 5K
They look 2:35:1 from some of your footage here. Are you doing some wide lens foolery here?
The last TV you will ever need.
The 110 inch Hisense is more impressive on paper.
Wow I got to get me one for the football game how much for the tv🤔
@LTT Looks like its coming!
Nice billboard 😂
The blooming is bad! I will take Samsung MicroLED just need to sell my house 😂
Wouldn't be surprised is LG launches a 120" OLED next year for 25-30k
Do they even have mother glass big enough for that?
Whats the process of buying one of these?
Easy. You realize it's a mistake - and then you don't.
A solarpowered batterypack should be included, to prevent powerprice spikes
But it's not 8k, is it?
Eu quero
Why not buy a microled with that size?
Blooming beast
Never heard of TCL
Is it cheaper to get a projector?
Yes. A 120 inch HD projector with 2K quality can be had for $200 USD on Amazon.. I have one...
Yes, your sacrificing some of the picture quality.
@@stickynorth 🤣🤣🤣
Nah at that price point I'll just go with a projector. I'll sacrifice the quality a little for a larger picture at a fraction of that 115" price...
It's not for brokies like you.
If then maybe.this TV was around the 6-7K
Lots of blooming 🤓
I saw that too😂. All that brightness and a processor from '98😅
1: Recording off angle
2: Viewing a screen through a camera always over-accentuates blooming unless you expose PERFECTLY for the screen
@@stephenpatterson8056
Even if you are perfectly centered, you will still see blooming because the tv so big. The rest of the tv would be off centered.
That was 1 of the problems Linus had.
Linus Tech Tips?
It’s definitely the camera, other reviewers footage looks better. And it’s amazing 😩
🔥
This guy shouldn't say projectors are not even close because they are , for a lot less. He should check out the AWOL 3500 and a great screen. Probably under $8000.
NO, projectors are not even close in terms of nit output in that price range, Jvc nz9(25k dollar pj) puts out about 119nits at a 130in wide x50in tall screen(2.35:1) and requires a video processor(2k-15k) on top to map out dv/hdr. You would need christie or barco(100k +) level commercial projectors to approach/surpass that kind of nit output.
You can literally see the blooming and border vigneting in the video. I can't understand how people put up with LCD
OLED is still expensive when comparing it to None OLED tvs.
If I were in the market for a tv I would look hard at TCL. Not the super size tho. ha
As someone who's been using a TCL TV for about 2 and a half years, I can say it's just amazing! I watch TV, use RUclips, play games, even stream games on it. Just perfect!
@@thismanagain Is it a mini-led model?
@@MSDOGS1976 no, it's QLED.
Lol, I wonder if linus will be able to get that dead pixel fixed under warranty. Otherwise, huge waste of money just to be first.
Only thing is the legs have it sitting pretty low especially if you want to sit a nice tv stand in front with all your AV components.
i see alot of blooming lol
Look at the feet on that tv. That would be a tripping hazard with my kids
I am a customer at a $7000 price point. Otherwise, a $6000 projector works fine in my space.
6k for projector.
How much for the screen and the speaker system?
Exactly what I'm thinking
@@NextNate03 laser projector
Ah yes, all those people who are running around with a $20,000 TV budget.
Even if you're in the market for a high-end TV, surely you weren't planning to spend more than $4,000 tops, right? Right??
My 83" OLED is slightly more
Yes a projector of this size won't get this bright or dark but it also won't cost $11-20K.... Amazon has Chinese HD projectors on for about $250 CAD or $200 USD and that's good enough for most people... I used one as my primary entertainment device for 3 years with only minor issues with brightness/darkness... Still very cool though!
I can’t imagine spending that much on a TCL… I have a 65” in one of my rooms and it’s a piece of junk.
Sadly, and this is what most people never do their actual homework on before buying, TCL and Hisense are among the LOWEST rated brands in the entire TV industry when it comes to quality and reliability over the long term. What good is a big, beautiful display if it just breaks on you after ten months? Both companies are so quick to brag about how they are so highly ranked in total US and global sales. What they NEVER talk to you about though is their record on reliability or their longevity though. That's because their numbers in those areas a really bad.
Not to mention that it's a Chinese brand.
If or when (if it hasn't already happened) the Chinese government can order them to let them spy on the viewing habits.
How about the Chinese brand drones and robotic vacuum cleaners?
The government has access to all of the mapping data and the video/pictures.
Perfect information on invasion.
@@michaelbeckerman7532 RCA, Insignia, JVC, Phillips, Panasonic, Toshiba, and Visio all rank lower than TCL and Hisense
Shame about all of the obvious blooming. Pretty obvious in a lot of those shots.
Blooming + Haloing everywhere .. i hate Mini LED
That isn't just a mini LED thing, it's a thing with every TV type except for OLED.
@NextNate03 Yes i know but i was hoping the Mini LED will be better but it is just less worse than other LED TVs
@@NextNate03 Yes i know but i was hoping the Mini LED will be better but it is just less worse than other LED TVs
Is it OLED tho
Off-angle viewing is horrible so this is definitely not OLED. This is a mini-LED backlight LCD; probably quantum dot.
Quantum dot mini led
@@evlnte It’s a VA panel with miniLED based on Linus’ video
Shut up and take my money lol
Why
You have people saying the Apple Vision Pro is too expensive yet it has 2 4k+ screens that can go up to 100 feet wide and you can take it anywhere. That’s just tv watching and not including being at live sports n concerts lol. Humans confuse me
@@paulc5389 Um, I don’t need one for everyone else, I need one for me. Having the Vision Pro does not prevent others from watching the same program on a tv. It’s not like having the Vision Pro means you have to rid the house of tvs lol. You do realize you are not isolated from the outside world with it on right? Have you even seen the demos? You can see the outside world with it on. Oh and 99.9% of movies are not 3hrs long lol
That is like comparing apples to oranges.
You can't compare VR headset with a tv.
When comparing the headset to other headsets, it costs ro much money.
When comparing the tv to other similar size tvs, then it's a deal.
Samsung 110 inch tv cost 150,000 USD.
100 feet wide - cool story
And i thought an 86inch tv was huge. This thing is a total behemoth of a screen.
Under 20k ! Finally the day ive been waiting for 🤦
Why
TCL is hot garbage so slow to even navigate
With Apple Vision Pro you won't need to buy mega sized tv's that take up all that space. Just throw on the headset and make the tv as big as you would like.
unless of course, you watch tv with others, like most people.
Remember years ago, when everyone thought VR was going to be huge?
8+ (more likely 30+) years later.......... still waiting.
I knew VR never going to become huge because 3D tvs failed.
The Vision Pro will basically always be reserved for a niche audience. The only way they sell a lot of them is it gets very cheap.
@@NextNate03…wha….the virtuaboy never amounted to anything!?!
@@robertt9342 I was talking about VR in general.
Mini LED LCD TVs have awful viewing angles. It gets worse with bigger screen. Nope
It's like that with any tv technology except for OLED.
It's way to big and not very practical.
Huge tv but agree with most here, it will be a bloom fest
Why would someone looking for a projector consider a dinky 115 inch projector wannabe? If your trying to make the tv look good, comparing it to a projector is not going to do it.
Is it just me, or are these sizes just getting silly? Who has the room for these beasts? Unless you have a 'dedicated' media/home theater room, normal homes have windows, doors, fireplaces , a need to put furniture... And I've heard these weigh about 250lbs, so hanging it would require some reinforcement to ensure it doesn't come crashing down.
I suppose there is a market out there, but it's got to be pretty small.
I have room and I’m getting it. 💃🏽
