How do you find the fence on yours? Can you set it and forget it honestly. I struggle with mine and when you throw your 6" machinist square against to set I can see the cup in the fence. I love the machine until I have to edge joint boards for panel glue up.
It has been great! I use it almost everyday and cant complain about it! should have bought it earlier if anything at all... its silent, powerful and accurate.
Albert Lee thanks for the reply. We run 500-2000 board feet or roughsawn 6/4 10’ + at a time- combo machines have me a little worried if they can handle the workload and stay accurate but this combination machine seems to be at a whole other level. Any thoughts?
@@Joshua_Briere I dont think you can go wrong with this combi, the beauty of a combi like this is that you pay the price for 1 machine but you get 2 machines :) the cost to buy a 510mm wide jointer is $$$$$... if you can, get the silence version, its a cheaper alternative to a SCM FS7 (I was going to get this but the wait is 6 months...)
Where is the guard ...?

Awesome machine! I’m shopping this and found your video. How’s it been so far since you’ve posted?
