Your videos are helping me a lot man, I've been playing bass for almost 3 years but mainly by ear. I knew some music theory but I learned a lot from your videos. You are doing a great job! Love what you're doing.^^🗿

Happy I found this channel. Great lesson
I keep low tension TI flats on my G&L J and I love exploring chord voicings. You’ve given me a lot of really practical things to try! Thank you very much.

Hi Grizelda! Glad to hear to that my videos have provided you with some practical things to try! I gotta explore flat wounds. I've always loved the sound of flat wounds on a vintage P bass!

Beautiful , The fact that you validate the 4 string and play the chords all over the neck and registers. Some players say it's to "muddy" down there...cmon now. It's beautiful, raw and organic. Its a challenge to play these things on a 4 string and create beauty out of ugliness (muddy low register tones) I prefer hearing a bassist doing this on a real bass, than on a 6 string perfectly set up Ferrari bass that is so easy to play. But hey, those are my tastes

What happened to the other channel? Great video by the way. I've been into chord melody for awhile..and I started thinking about the root being on top. And I've known inversions, extensions and everything for a long time..but something about thinking about it that way made everything click. Like for instance holding E as your melody and walking down through the other chord tones, playing each chords tone with the melody, a double stop...it's a great exercise.

Hi Brandon Malone! I haven’t been updating the Inspire Bass channel (if that’s the channel you’re referring to). I won’t be closing it down. I plan on revisiting it at a later time and refocusing the content on it. As of now, I’m focusing my efforts on this channel.
