Actually it's "Ten Years AFTER". Love your enthusiasm! Yeah, Alvin was quite the guitarist, to say the least! If you get around to coming back to them, check out "Let the Sky Fall" and "I'm Going Home" live version from Woodstock.
Love this song! Ten Years After are a British blues rock band from the 60s-70s. They had some great songs such as "I'm Going Home", "Hear Me Calling", "A Sad Song", "Let The Sky Fall", "Love Like A Man", "Working On The Road" etc.
One of my favorite bands. Thanks for acting to it. Totally right on. They have so much great stuff. I would definitely just say check out other things for this album for, I've been there too, once there was a time, etcetera.
Alvin Lee was a monster blues guitarist. Just listen to the fills he puts into this song. He blew away the crowd at Woodstock in 1968 with his speed guitar licks. And he was the lead singer as well. The point of this song is that so many people were protesting to save the world but they had no idea what to do next or how to truely fix it and that was what he was saying.
Since you loved this one, I know you'll like this pure blues song from Alvin Lee, featuring George Harrison (Beatles) on slide guitar for the first solo and Alvin doing the 2nd solo. This song is so smooth!! It's called "The Bluest Blues". ruclips.net/video/rB6OlJqV1rQ/видео.html
This is one of my favorite bands that I got exposed to in high school by the older people from the 60s. Oh my God and I pretty much own all of their record albums and love every song on every album. But yeah I've been a musician my whole life and of course I know the gorillaz. And I really love it when you introduce new music to older people and half the time you're going to get this deal about how music's no good anymore and it just proves that they never were musicians❤ but it's fine.
I'm gonna guess that you clicked on one of the videos that has their name wrong, seems a lot of reactors do. Try; Help Me (baby) live by them. Think you'll be surprised.

Fine Guitarist, and singer. His tune from the Woodstock Festival is a classic. His brother was on drums.
Alvin Lee and Ric Lee (the drummer) were not related. So, no brothers. :)
You are a hippy at heart. One of the stand out songs of the whole era. Great choices lately. Keep it up.
I envy your journey in this genre of music. You remined me of myself discovering all the great artists.
Has it been said "Going Home" from Woodstock is a must listen lol.
Bluest Blues from Alvin Lee's solo stuff is an absolute must!
George Harrison on slide guitar, and Alvin on lead and vocals.
That was cool! Thanks Ace! Yeah this one is a total classic from the late ‘60s, early ’70s. Nice Gorillaz comparison. 👍

Love to see young people react to music of my generation, music today is pale in comparison.

Banger! It's on my driving list as well.
This is one long, amazing guitar solo. With a song wrapped around it for decoration.
One my favorite bands. Now you gotta' do their Woodstock performance of "I'm Going Home".
This was fun to watch. Always great to see a great song make a strong connection!
Alvin Lee on guitar brilliant band.
LIVE at Woodstock "I'm Going Home" by this band is EPIC
Specifically the entire version, not the chopped up piece o' crap.
Great tune here brother! Message is just as relevant today as when it was recorded. I've said it before brother man, 60's and 70's are where it's at.
That entire album is very good.
#HOGARMY
You could be the guy on WAR's WHY CAN'T WE BE FRINDS album cover.

You are absolutely adorable! 😁 I love seeing you react to these songs that I grew up listening to my entire life ❤️
Alvin Lee was awesome. This song needs new lyrics.
