Chris, thank you for your channel. I've been catching your stories for about a year now.
I was born and grew up in the Wind River Valley of Wyoming. I have been here 60 years now. Know the area well and where this couple fished. I have not heard of their experience until now. There have been several sightings in this area of the Wind River Range and Shoshone National Forest, stretching all the way up to the Yellowstone Park boundary. There are many more stories of encounters that are talked about from this area, and many that have not made it to the internet. I had an encounter years ago in the Shoshone Forest area where the Owl Creek Range meets the Absaroka Range northwest of the town of Dubois. The Wind River Range starts at this point and runs south. There are two other encounters I personally know of, along with mine, that were within a five-mile area near Brooks Lake. And yes, this is a hot spot for grizzly bears. Be armed at all times while in these areas, even if you are on a short stroll and parked just off the highway.

Another great video Chris , really enjoyed that story, that couple will always see the wilderness with different eyes now that they know what lives in the deep woods, and maybe not so deep woods. I went on a fishing trip in Canada once and stayed a week. Large group of us , 32 of us , three large john boats , no guide, took turns fishing in the boats, nothing unusual happened.but what a trip.

I heard that 15 second screech/scream/howl/roar in the winds about 10 years ago. Maybe it was
The same one! Think about it most every day. We were a few miles apart but it was sending us a direct message no doubt. Done many trips before and after without incident. We were on the other side of the range 20 something miles from this story. Only a handful of mountain ranges compare to the winds.

That was a lovely story, reminding me of many happy, wonderful memories camping with my family. My dad would tell us the best stories about cryptids and he was fascinated by Bigfoot. We went on some incredibly memorable camping trips to Alberta and British Columbia but never experienced any sightings of a Bigfoot. Thank you😊♥️

Question for ya Chris....Do ever take fishing gear out with you and fish those places?
Always looking forward to your next vid. Thank you Chris for sharing.

The Wind River Range. I've been waiting for a story from here. My friends and I have experienced much unexplainable strangeness there, such that I would never backpack in there alone. It's one thing to see something like a Sasquatch on a day hike; quite another when you're two days or more in. And frankly, a sasquatch might seem like a friend compared to some other possibilities.

Another amazing post!! And for all the high-quality bigfoot real encounter shows I've listened to the past 2 yrs I don't think I've heard that an encounter might be a time to change ones' ways. Love the pond and rock shots, walking out and froggy company. And the pine needle in the bigfoot beer was classic Base Camp, lol... ps there's a lot of rock in Colorado but I tell ya there's tons in the Sierras too!! Best, as always, from Colorado!

That 15 second growl would've been enough for me. No way would I camp another night, even in the other meadow. Guess they didn't have enough time to hike all the way out, as it was getting close to nightfall. Spooky story, but it was good that they all were armed. Nice story telling, Chris. The beer was a hoot.
