the story of the guy getting into his car and turning the key and high tailing it out of there with a rooster tail reminded me of an incident I had over 15 years ago when I had parked my car near an old mining camp next to a cemetery about 30 miles from the nearest town it was in very mountainous terrain and surrounded by forest I hiked for approximately 6 hours though the mountains where I planned to stay the night in an old hut i had herd about and prospect for gold the next day I couldn't find the hut i found out later i was very near it but it was several hundred feet up the mountain where i was looking for it around its base the mosquitos were bitting me bad so after drinking a beer and eating some food i reluctantly decided i better return to my car as I had no tent it was around 1am in the morning as I wearily made my way thought the last very step stretch of mountain trail across a river then into the forest for the last quarter mile to my car as I neared my car although I was physically spent the adrenalin was pumping as in the back of my mind I new I had to walk past a cemetery after midnight before I could get to my car I also thought logically theres nothing to worry about but no sooner had I thought this then I herd a loud crack in the forest followed by more cracking of branches then what sounded like somebody running and heavy breathing just about this time I broke out of the forest the cemetery came into view my fast walk broke into a paniced run as i went past all the tombstones in pitch black darkness with my car keys in my shaking hand I remember praying that the bitch would start luckily it did I dropped the cutch and fishtailed out of there at full speed and didn't start relaxing till I neared the next town miles away.
I haven't seen one, and a Google search showed really ill-looking bears, but it's very obvious they're bears. The snout looks pretty normal too. I'm not saying you're wrong, though! Fear could mess with someone's perception.
@@Princess_Celestia_ Here’s to your hogwash. Yes, many creatures, especially prey animals, will go silent when they sense a predator nearby as a survival tactic to avoid detection by minimizing noise and attracting attention.
Whatever that thing was, it must not have been hungry or this guy would've probably joined the ranks of the missing. Thanks again, as always, for the great scenic views and great content.
Are there monsters eating people in wilderness areas we don't know about? If there are they must hide it pretty well because the missing persons statistics don't show anything out of the ordinary going on😅😅
@@unropednope4644There are thousands of unsolved missing person cases. And there is a wide range of unnatural creatures on the earth that were never intended. Accounts from all regions, cultures, and centuries of past to present. From Natives to Genesis chapter 6 there are plenty of well recorded accounts of giants. The fallen ones corrupted the seed of humans and animals. That is why the flood occurred. God wiped out all the seed corruption on earth. Noah was found to be righteous (Hebrew meaning Tamon). This was not about good behavior. Tamon means that Noah and his family still carried the original DNA that God intended to be His creation. They never had sexual relations with Nephilim. But the fallen ones (Nephilim) continued to corrupt the seed of animals, man, and plants. That’s one of multiple reasons why Christ is coming back. Because seed corruption is so widespread again. There are all types of manufactured beings (monsters) that will be used to wreak havoc on earth during tribulation. It’s time to get right with Jesus Christ. 🙏✝️
I've lived in the PNW for 30 years. Gifford Pinchot is the spookiest place I've been. Been there twice and I'm not going back. Some nature areas you get out of the car and just get an uneasy feeling. I leave now and try some place else.
Yep. Had the crap spooked out of me at cedar flats once. Never saw anything just a super dreadful feeling to leave and to leave now. I was cutting firewood with a large sthil saw
Same for 45 years but for me I don't get creeped out. My family's has had a mining claim there since very early 1900's and it's beautiful and peaceful there. Quite a hike in. Cougars tend to stalk ya. Great fishing. Sasquatch's are friendly but very reserved at first from a distance. People do have to watch out for the like Asian / Chinese hunters that come through there for mushroom / goldenseal / ginseng hunting because they carry automatic weapons and aren't always friendly and as a woman they creep me out the way they stare. And they leave a lot of garbage and bottles and cans at there camp sites. You should never go into the woods alone and always know your surroundings.
Any time i hear of sightings that have no historical reference or doesn't necessarily match any of the common cryptids, I lean towards chimera/govt type creatures. This would've put me on the run for sure. Angelo I'm glad to hear you are doing better with your fears. Thank you Chris and Angelo.
Good Evening Chris from Arizona 😊😊 Never been to Mount Rainier...I have lived in Washington State for 11 years, before I moved to Arizona. ..I guess I need to get out more.. Beautiful Scenery behind You!! Sounds like a kill spot and I would Diffiently get the crap out of there... I always wondered if there was something else out in our forests instead of Sasquatch....I am not sure what I would do approaching another species and coming face to face with it 😮😮 This story tops of all your other stories...This is Frightening 😮😮.. Thank you for Your Stories, Chris...😊 Keep HIKING!!!
After all these stories - I don’t know if I would ever go into the woods unless I was armed like special forces with multiple mags and top heavy calibers.
I don’t believe it. He didn’t describe the smell of the blood or creature. If it was blood it would have attracted some sort of insect. Maybe transmission flood or oil. If he really did see something maybe it was a bear with mange. Even so, I believe he knew what it was.
I know that area fairly well. Down by the Carbon River there is a lot of predator traffic, I see their tracks and have startled bear there as well. The interesting thing my husband and I found down by the Melmont Ghost Town (a town that processed what was pulled from the mines up there) was wolf tracks. Wolves are not supposed to be in the area, but I have no doubt they are, wolverines are in there too. It’s a dang spooky area, you feel like you’re always being watched and I have no doubt that there could be other very strange things lurking in the dark shadows of that forest.
I saw a wolverine run across the road on my way to work in sw Washington -not far from cougar wa I was like wtf was that?!? That was no bear. Bears don’t have tails like that It jumped up the hillside on the right, into the road and kept on running. Very fast
I am not a beer drinker, but I marvel at the different brands that you show. I had no idea that there were so many. The description of the animal is very similar to the animals seen at the Skinwalker Ranch. I wish he had taken a picture, but he was probably too struck with fear to do so. I would have been. I hope you didn't get attacked by mosquitos from that swampy water! When you are running for your life, that last 20 feet or so to your car feels like the most perilous and longest stretch. Ive been there.
Please stop with the skinwalker stuff. (Everyone, not you in particular.) That’s a Navajo thing in the southwest. This was in Washington state. Literally not even close.
Almost 100,000 SUBS Chris!! Keep the GREAT encounters coming!! It sounds like a Dogman. Many people who have encountered a Dogman have said their hands resemble racoons hands and quite a few have seen them with vibrant blue eyes, instead of the typical description of the glowing yellow/amber eyes. There are a few Dogman "types" just like there are a few different Sasquatch types.
@@howwwwwyyyyy yeah. I think it's possible that in 1 or 2 areas of the world there are many a dozen of some kind of creature. But it would have to be so rare that most of these reports are made up.
Ok this was like a real life horror story!! That’s the scariest encounter yet. It makes me wonder if some of the 411 missing people encounter things like this and that’s why they are never heard from again 😳
There are indeed many missing 411 cases around Mt Rainer National Park! I play in this general area and sometimes it just gets really quiet. There was a dogman encounter up at Evans Creek ORV area on one of the dogman story youtube channels. Also a park ranger had an encounter with a dogman inside the Park.
@@mariamnone816Do you think maybe (mad) scientists are mixing human and animal DNA and creating these creatures and releasing them in parks and forests?
Or maybe the fallen angels are taking on these forms. Or perhaps bred with animals like they did with women back in Biblical days that created the giants kike Goliath l.
Thank you for these very interesting stories. My thought is that someone is experimenting on the people who go missing in the wilderness and then letting them go !!!
That picture with the flower field up against the mountain with clouds is stupendous! Chris you are a great nature photographer, would like to encourage you to sell or have a show at a gallery. Really really good photography. 👍

I've read the comments, if it was a bear or dog with mange I would think he would probably recognize it as such. It sounded like he hikes and not new to the area. It's easy to say stuff when it wasn't you that experienced it.
Wow!! This is one of the most scariest stories I've heard and scariest discription of a creature!!! It sounds like it could be a creature from Skin Walker ranch!!! That guy was so lucky he wasn't attacked by him!!! Thank you Chris for all these exciting stories and interviews!!!
All of the stories you tell are very interesting but this one takes the cake. Even as you were telling it and the Mallards flew in I jumped a little. Angelo sounds relieved in his interview. It's tough enough to encounter a bear. coyote or mountain lion, but this incident probably took a toll on him for a while. Keep up the good work Chris and congrats on 100k. I love the stories hopefully someone someday will have on a body cam I dont think in a situation like that you're going to think of taking a picture 😮thanks for sharing these stories stay safe ✌🍻👀
I lived on the Carbon River just a couple miles from where you're talking about. I think the road he's describing is at Evan's Creek and that's an ORV park right there. Can't really drive it unless you have a serious 4x4. I have many stories from living there but never anything like yours. I will say that there are many Mt. Lions in that area though. I would see them often.

Chris, have you ever wondered why they created these protected wild spaces and then generally don’t allow professional filming or use of drones to film their documentaries?? Addendum: Your interview with this fellow was very interesting; the amount of detail he was able to relate was very impressive and yet if he didn’t know something, he didn’t try to make anything up. People who are pulling your leg, generally try to make whole cloth, but this guy didn’t..if he didn’t know, he said so.
The National parks were created to preserve these naturally beautifully places for future generations and nothing more. All filming and photography is allowed in national parks and forests as long as its for personal use only. If you plan on selling the footage or making any kind of profit then you need to get a permit so the rangers know where you're filming and how much equipment you'll be bringing in. Film crews have been known to damage trails and plant life and filming can disturb the animals. As for drones, they are expressly forbidden to use inside all national parks because the noise can disrupt the peaceful tranquility and atmosphere that people come to the park to enjoy. They also tend to disturb the wildlife as well. Not even park rangers are allowed to fly drones unless permission is given by the park director for emergencies. FYI, I worked at teton and yelllowstone as a backcountry ranger for years when I was younger. Don't worry, there's no secret conspiracy planned by Roosevelt to protect cryptids inside national parks.
@@calmlake1616 Well I can't speak to "blocked out areas" or "prohibited areas" because we didn't have anything like that in the places that I worked. We had wilderness areas that biologists designate, usually in order to protect certain plant life. There is no motorized travel allowed in those areas. Furthermore there were no areas that were off limits to filming. If it was a commercial for profit operation then a film permit needed to be done. Movies, documentaries, professional photographers etc. No permit required for personal filming or picture taking. I never saw anything to suggest that the government was restricting people from documenting what ever they desired on public lands. No policy written, spoken or inferred. If you think that all government employees believe that the government is always right or that the government doesn't hide things from the people you haven't talked to enough government employees.

the story of the guy getting into his car and turning the key and high tailing it out of there with a rooster tail reminded me of an incident I had over 15 years ago when I had parked my car near an old mining camp next to a cemetery about 30 miles from the nearest town it was in very mountainous terrain and surrounded by forest I hiked for approximately 6 hours though the mountains where I planned to stay the night in an old hut i had herd about and prospect for gold the next day I couldn't find the hut i found out later i was very near it but it was several hundred feet up the mountain where i was looking for it around its base the mosquitos were bitting me bad so after drinking a beer and eating some food i reluctantly decided i better return to my car as I had no tent it was around 1am in the morning as I wearily made my way thought the last very step stretch of mountain trail across a river then into the forest for the last quarter mile to my car as I neared my car although I was physically spent the adrenalin was pumping as in the back of my mind I new I had to walk past a cemetery after midnight before I could get to my car I also thought logically theres nothing to worry about but no sooner had I thought this then I herd a loud crack in the forest followed by more cracking of branches then what sounded like somebody running and heavy breathing just about this time I broke out of the forest the cemetery came into view my fast walk broke into a paniced run as i went past all the tombstones in pitch black darkness with my car keys in my shaking hand I remember praying that the bitch would start luckily it did I dropped the cutch and fishtailed out of there at full speed and didn't start relaxing till I neared the next town miles away.
Talk about “Scary”alright!! You walked past a cemetery And walked six miles into the bush!! 😳 whoaa!!
We can’t wait until you come out with a new video. You just seem to be one heck of a nice guy. My husband and I said we wish you were Our neighbor.❤
Yay! Chris is on! Let me get my tea and settle in for a good storytime! :)
What you just described Chris was a black bear with mange. I have only ever seen one in my 72 years.
That's exactly what I was thinking!
Blue eyes though... I suppose it could have been going blind, that would give it a milky whitish/blue look to the eyes.
I haven't seen one, and a Google search showed really ill-looking bears, but it's very obvious they're bears. The snout looks pretty normal too. I'm not saying you're wrong, though! Fear could mess with someone's perception.
Interesting, I never knew mange made their eyes blue.
With blue eyes??
He’s very lighthearted, believable and entertaining. He reminds of the actor Steve Martin.
Chris: actually when the frogs go quiet keep one eye open even when your sleeping.
So true!!! Everything knows when the king of the woods is near...
Hog wash. Animals don't go silent when danger is about, quite the opposite, they sudden burst into noise. It's called alarm calling.
@@Princess_Celestia_
Here’s to your hogwash.

My favorite thing about Sundays is a new story from Chris! And you are almost to 100k!
Very interesting story and also amazing nature ..Best regards from Alberta - Canada .! 👌🍁🤠🌿💕🍷👍
Any time i hear of sightings that have no historical reference or doesn't necessarily match any of the common cryptids, I lean towards chimera/govt type creatures. This would've put me on the run for sure. Angelo I'm glad to hear you are doing better with your fears. Thank you Chris and Angelo.
I just came into your stories a few days ago and now im hooked!!! Btw i love the beer thing its awesome!!!! Great stories
Thank you so much! C
Yeah that's great if you drink beer
Good Evening Chris from Arizona 😊😊
Never been to Mount Rainier...I have lived in Washington State for 11 years, before I moved to Arizona. ..I guess I need to get out more..
Beautiful Scenery behind You!!
Sounds like a kill spot and I would Diffiently get the crap out of there...
I always wondered if there was something else out in our forests instead of Sasquatch....I am not sure what I would do approaching another species and coming face to face with it 😮😮
This story tops of all your other stories...This is Frightening 😮😮..
Thank you for Your Stories, Chris...😊
Keep HIKING!!!
Hey 👋 Chris. I really enjoy your videos. You take us to such beautiful places. The content is fascinating.
Keep hiking. Best wishes from the UK 🇬🇧 xxx
That was one of the craziest stories yet. I’m curious if the witness smelled anything unusual.
I was wondering about odor too.
@@Colorado8300 I'll just stay out of the forest that way I won't have to carry such things! 😃
I was wondering bout it's ears... for some dumb reason 🤪😏😜
All haves A Blessed WK 💯
Stay Safe 😎❤
Very fast
So you are saying I need to check it out. Thanks for the heads up. Sounds like a cool place.
@@Hemigoblin Coyotes are now in New England & Canada etc... "Animals" can leave their usual territory.
@@cecileroy557 Right, okay. I’m looking forward to the “Skinwalkers on a Bus” movie.
Ski walkers r everywhere x
Almost 100,000 SUBS Chris!! Keep the GREAT encounters coming!!
It sounds like a Dogman. Many people who have encountered a Dogman have said their hands resemble racoons hands and quite a few have seen them with vibrant blue eyes, instead of the typical description of the glowing yellow/amber eyes. There are a few Dogman "types" just like there are a few different Sasquatch types.
How have people never gotten these on film or trail cameras. That's impossible, there are cameras everywhere nowadays, including on our phones.
@@tyarnold4088and the only Bigfoot film is a ropy 1960,s film, everyone has cameras nowadays but nobody can film one!lol
@@howwwwwyyyyy yeah. I think it's possible that in 1 or 2 areas of the world there are many a dozen of some kind of creature. But it would have to be so rare that most of these reports are made up.
Now my Sunday is complete. I get to have a beer and hear a great story in the outdoors from Chris!! Thanks again Chris, I really love this channel!!!
Ok this was like a real life horror story!! That’s the scariest encounter yet. It makes me wonder if some of the 411 missing people encounter things like this and that’s why they are never heard from again 😳
Exactly what happens
@@maggiesmama757~ The Nephilim.
Good story. I think it would be cool to have him describe this thing to a artist and have a drawing done of it so we could see what he saw. It's hard to imagine from a verbal description.
I'm enjoying your video, Chris! That place creepy yet beautiful! Those frogs definitely aren't used to people being around. Stay safe on all your adventures. Thank you for the stories in the way you do it. Your approach makes it feel more homey.
I agree!
Hi Chris! 🎉 Its Campbase Chris time everyone! Been scrubbing hardwood floors, or I'd have been here sooner.
Btw, frogs croaking is a good sign and they stopped? Uh oh. :) bigfoot love the islands man, better scoot out of there. Cant wait to listen. Have a great week everyone.
Like this channel chris always have a personal locator responder beacon thingy be safe in the wilderness and keep giving great stories
I've read the comments, if it was a bear or dog with mange I would think he would probably recognize it as such. It sounded like he hikes and not new to the area. It's easy to say stuff when it wasn't you that experienced it.
I scrolled past your stories for a long time, then I watched one episode and now I can't get enough. Youre doing a fantastic job!!
Appreciate that! Keep Hiking!c ⛺️
Wow!! This is one of the most scariest stories I've heard and scariest discription of a creature!!! It sounds like it could be a creature from Skin Walker ranch!!! That guy was so lucky he wasn't attacked by him!!! Thank you Chris for all these exciting stories and interviews!!!
Hey from UK Chris , love the videos.....
Hey, thanks
At first I thought it was going to be the rake. There are a lot of sightings of those. Chris your storytelling is just a pleasure to listen to.
A rake, like the garden implement?
I thought the Rake as well.
Great content, great interview, and great storyteller, thank you Chris...GOD bless you
Thanks for listening
Chris you are a true storyteller!
Chris is such a cheerful person….he makes my day!!!😊😊😊
My husband and I are addicted to your show! We love all the stories and craft beer reviews!
Thank you Chris for taking us through deep woods appreciate you
All of the stories you tell are very interesting but this one takes the cake. Even as you were telling it and the Mallards flew in I jumped a little. Angelo sounds relieved in his interview. It's tough enough to encounter a bear. coyote or mountain lion, but this incident probably took a toll on him for a while. Keep up the good work Chris and congrats on 100k. I'm sure you'll hit it by tomorrow at least.
Oh yes, I also jumped, oh yes, I surely did! 😨
That was perfect timing by the ducks! Their sure beautifully gorgeous duckies!! 🤗 🤗 🤗 🤗
Great show as always 😊
I love the stories hopefully someone someday will have on a body cam I dont think in a situation like that you're going to think of taking a picture 😮thanks for sharing these stories stay safe ✌🍻👀
I lived on the Carbon River just a couple miles from where you're talking about. I think the road he's describing is at Evan's Creek and that's an ORV park right there. Can't really drive it unless you have a serious 4x4. I have many stories from living there but never anything like yours. I will say that there are many Mt. Lions in that area though. I would see them often.
Nearing 100,K subscribers, thats amazing and so well deserved 😊
Hello again good friend Chris, this was a real creepy one, one-of-a-kind. This was a new one on me never heard of it before. Ducks going ape haha, never heard that before. Gosh I wonder how many unknown species there are out there all over the world? What if that thing would have crawled out of the swampy areas while you were videoing this episode. Holy cats. I can see you now scrambling around. Well thanks much and keep hiking good distant friend❤
Good thing it wasn't hungry! Sounds like it had a big meal before he came along. That had to be terrifying and you never know what you may run into. Everyone needs a body cam while in the forest.
That's a good idea Linda. I work in the field and it's been crazy with all the bear and coyote encounters I've had, more than ever before. I'm taking you up on that idea since this is an oddball year, who knows what else I'll see.
Just think if he would of came through the trail before the animal that thing killed. He probably would have been on the menu.

This is the first person I have subscribed to on RUclips. How cool would it be to get an in person story while camping at a site of a previous story!!!
Every time I hear about Mount Raineer, I hear the Rainer beer commercials from the 1970’s …A motorcycle going up the mountain ….RAINNN--eeer--BEEER…
Excellent story Chris. Good beer.
Great story Chris. Quite scary. Wonder what the creature might have been!!! Thank you for the story.

Hi Chris, I haven't hiked for 10 days now. Actually I have been looking after my moms cat, and now it's hard to engage back into how it was all going. Chris maybe Sasquatch is near by and wants to hear your story too !😳 take care and be careful. 🙏🏻
My thoughts too once he said the frogs went quiet and it's get this - a swamp. That what David Pallides keeps saying: swamps = bigfoot.

Love the interviews. These people all sound credible which makes the story even scarier. Thanks Chris stay safe!🌲💚🌲
Great story! Most if one is safe at home. I still love being out in the woods with my dogs.
Hey Chris. Thanks for the story. That swamp is cool with the Drake duck swimming by yet creepy too. Yep if you go back to this place definitely during the day.
This is one of the most intense bizarre experiences I’ve ever heard of! I hope he continues to share his story. Thank Angelo for sharing. I believe every word.
Thank you for doing the interview!!! 🙏👍
I worked as a LE Ranger as well, but another agency. California, Nevada and Alaska. I echo @unropednope46's comments. No conspiracy.

Maybe the scariest story of yours up to now. I think I have watched all yr videos, so I can admit this story gave me goosebumps. People will keep hiking of course, but they should be armed in all occasions, just in case. Going solo is risky, going unarmed is crazy.
