    Great interviews. Anthony Edward's as Goose was my favorite character in the movie and really looks the part of a navy pilot. Thanks for uploading.

      I love him in the movie. He is so darn tall they had to adjust the way it was filmed because of his scenes. The only one where you see how tall he was is at the end on the deck when they all get back to the Enterprise

    Thanks for uploading this. I love seeing stuff like this as a Top Gun fan. That look Tim Robbins had with the hair and sweater is too funny. So 80's how Anthony Edwards is smoking out in the open, and his attitude shows why and how he got that role.

    I LOVE THE TITLES! So under stated and 80s. How would he know that this would become one of the biggest films of the decade and I think it's one of the American Film Institutes (AFI 100) best 100 Films of all time. So down to earth, real and honest. Refreshing change from today. Thank You Rick Ross for digging this up and posting!

    Rick... I had no idea that you had this footage.
    It's November, 2018. And I'm just seeing this now?
    I was on the hangar deck, during the tossing of the dog tags scene.
    Can't believe you were actually behind one of the cameras.
    And what happened to the curtains? They used to have Big E logos on them.

    The first time you grab a pitot tube as a ladder handle that was left on I promise you won't do it again.

      Best practice for checking is to tab with back of hand instead of palm so the muscles don't contract around the pitot tube. Of course you know that from learning the hard way!!! :)

    I understand that the actors who played main characters were not their first choices! From what I read the part of Maverick was written for Crispen Glover, Goose was supposed to be Gary Busey, Viper was Danny Devito's role, Jester had Christopher Lloyd's name on it, and the role of Charlie was originally going to be a woman. Maybe in the remake!

    We still don't know why Tony Scott jumped! How can you make True Romance and Top Gun, and then say it's all over. I know Hollywood can be depressing having worked there, but wow.

    Tom learned his skills just from random actors workshops,how impressive no particular acting school had the honor to be mentioned,they should have made better impressions on him ,pay him money…Scientology was giving free acting classes to aspiring actors ,here he didn’t have all that enthusiasm they reached him to have yet .

    I can't help think, why wasn't Val Kilmer there?! Did he not have any scenes on the Enterprise during this time when this was taken? I mean I know he was on the ship at the end, I'm just curious.

      He had finished all his scenes the day before we did the interview. He had already departed the ship by helicopter.

Now that it's moved to later this year she wants to go as a bday day. If you get what I mean. Hey, just checking but are you the person interviewing them? Nice job. I can tell you were nervous but you could slide into any Hollywood interview position imo. You actually asked questions people actually wanted. Very cool
