    Is it just me or does the blacksmith not really change as you upgrade it, it looks like they didn't really put any thought into the design to make it match each Town Hall even slightly

      Upgrade visual every two levels. There are currently 5 Visual upgrades.

      Yeah it also holds ores and there’s no sign of any storage. Makes me think even more this was just another money grab inching us to pay to progress being the only way to catch up

      ​@@Boblob27you see, we can steal resources from every buildings with a visual storage, but we cant steal ores, so logically the storage that hold ores is keep well hidden somewhere so that we cant steal it.

      It doesnt really change according to Town Halls because it only has like 5 levels and unlocks at th8 so it would look out of date by the time u reach th14 or th15

    They either need to let you use heros while upgrading or massively reduce upgrade times. Not really because of these issues but literally just QOL

      It'll have to be the times if anything. Allowing people to war while heros are upgrading would effectively make the book of heros useless. And supercell isnt gonna throw away that money.

    The problem isn't really with the ores and equipment, there was already a problem with upgrading heros, hero's equipment just made that a bit worse

      But now you don't have to level the hero to upgrade the skills. Skills take 0 time to upgrade. The only thing they have ever needed to do is make heros and outs avail while upgrading like troops

      @@SoulTwinky you get enough through clan games, not to mention they aren’t an active ability for your heroes. They also usually relate to resources that you are very accessible (elixir, gold, de).

All in all, people are overreacting about the new system, even though the only difference is the fact that there's a new currency. The game is easier now than ever, and hero equipment only adds to the progression and fun of Clash of Clans

    i’m not going to lie, the ores and equipment and all that really killed the game for me. i think one of the biggest issues is that if you miss an equipment from an event, it’ll eventually sold later for 1500 gems. i think it’s really scummy to lock a core gameplay mechanic behind such a large gem wall.

      It wouldn't be such a big deal if epic equipments weren't objectively better than common. Eventually, higher rarity equipment will completely outclass lower rarities making them useless, forcing you to indulge in the expensive high rarity equipment.

      1500 is not much dude.Furthermore they are not compulsory to have. You can still 3 star bases without gauntlet and and probably will without other upcoming epic equipment. For people like they don't matter. Just farm and max out

    Something I would like to see is when hero’s are being upgraded they can’t be used on defense but they can be used on attack while being upgraded

      i think they should compress the hero level... like from 95 reduce it to 20... that way we will have 1 or 2 new levels of heros for each townhall and it will help the players use the heroes easily...
      yeah they can increase the hero prices and time and also the hero book price (1500 gems

    My biggest issue with the ores is besides the limited ways to acquire them, during CWL they don't drop double the amount even though you only get 1 attack. Similarly, during star bonus events only the loot gets the multiplier and not the ores. Seems very short sighted.

      In wars you get 2 attacks, after a prep day. Normal wars take around 2 days, so you get 2 amounts of ores for 2 days which is 1 ore amount per day. CWL is the same , 1 ore amount per day, as the next prep day happens during the current war.

      Think about it like this though, reg war takes 2 days, 1 prep then war day. You get around 2k of the blue ores. Thats 1k per day, same as cwl becaue you war everyday. We are doing side wars in a different clan so now Im averaging 3k per day, thats with the daily bonus included.

      A completely free to play player can max a piece of equipment in roughly a month, it really doesn't need to be faster than that. If upgrading equipment got any faster, then the progression would be ruined and everyone would lose motivation to play the game

      Thia is probably artificial Scarcity and will most likely be adjusted in the future. I think once TH16 is Complete, They will adjust those Ore bonuses properly. The Artificial scarcity is so that they can cash in on the Whales/Pro players.

      @@randall517 harder for lower town halls though, unless I, a th10 want to push into high champion or titan I am only getting around 450 from star bonus. My clan does wars twice a week with me earning around 900 if I win both attacks and we only win the war about 50/50. I am making only around 4500 a week or 650 a day on average.
      The cost to max all of the gear that I use to level 12 for me is 31200 which means it will take almost seven weeks of constant warring and collecting star bonus everyday which also grinding for trophies to star in my league. If I was a bit more casual this could easily take months .

    For me a good way to fix this problem is that for all 5 heroes upgrade you get a good amount of ores so that you can *at least* upgrade 1, 2 equipment so that we still keep the old system of 5 heroes levels = 1 level of capacity

      I like this, though I would instead, on every 5th level, give a token for a free upgrade. They just need to make a magical item for that, or make items like we have where it fills your storage.
      Things like this would be perfect to help us out with the upgrades, and could be mixed into hero upgrades, as you mentioned.
      Still though, they should really just make heros usable in war when upgrading, even if it's not everywhere, at least that would solve pretty much the entire issue.

    It could be simply elixir or dark elixir. It would be way simpler.
    We really did not need or want any sort of new currency.
    Those gems are extremely annoying

      yeah i feel like they definitely should have kept it at 1 new ore, maybe 2 at most. 3 is way too much. and i agree just using elixer or DE would have been a lot better. that way the players who want to grind can just farm it, it isnt limited in this way to only star bonus/war

      In all honesty i think they are great. People are now truly incentivised to A do wars and B be higher in Trophies as they are the only way to get the ores

    honestly the equipment should have still been tied to hero levels since there still is a reason to upgrade them and you still can mess around with different combinations

      That would hinder progression massively, you wouldn't just need to have the require dark elixir but also the ores to be able have better abilities.

      @@kingdomofgenevamapping Since you said that "equipment should have *bold*still*bold* been tied to hero levels" I assumed you meant that hero upgrades should be needed despite the need of ores to upgrade equipment.
      I think the way it is now is better than what you propose since now the most important part of upgrading heroes is under a currency that is faster obtainable and doesn't have any upgrade time.

    i also think its a good idea to maybe implement ores into the builder base star bonus so people will play it more. I have no reason to play it anymore because I already got the 6th builder. I only play it when im waiting for troops to train or just bored

    That update was great. We just get too small amount of ores to upgrade equipment. We should get some from just attacking bases and it would be enought. Also putting ores in raid medals shop is important.

    There are a couple changes that I believe would help with this
    -Reward people with ores for upgrading heroes
    (Already upgraded heroes would automatically receive the ores)
    -Make the original equipment only upgradable by heroes levels (how it originally was)
    That would would make it more likely to upgrade heroes since almost every attack includes one of the original equipment for each hero
    -Similar to 2 but maybe make every piece be able to reach a certain level depending on hero levels
    -Not let the hero potion make your heroes max depending on your town hall, maybe instead of 5 levels increase it to 10 levels per hero
    Other side things that can be done
    -Make a Star potion for the home base
    - Be able to purchase ore with raid medals

      @@user-xb7ir7uk8x The potion was barely changed to give max hero levels depending on your town hall level. It was just 5 levels before… so the better buff option would have been to increase 10 levels per hero which would still make the user have a need to upgrade heroes.

      And you still need to upgrade the heroes lvl to push-farm

    I think the best way to balance the hero upgrades is to make it reward ore upon completion and maybe like a certain milestones you get more of the rarer ores. Either that or they just have to flat out reduce the time and cost for each upgrade level cuz you don't get anything remotely worth the investment, or they need to make it so you can use the hero at the previous level during war attacks like how you can use the buildings that are upgrading for your war defenses. They have made it so that the hero potion boosts heroes to the town hall max instead of + 5 so they basically buffed rushing heroes since you can get enough hero potions through raid metals to cover three wars a week, and it's not like wars are the biggest way to get ores as the daily bonus gives you more per day but having the extra income from wars is necessary. I definitely think they were trying to boost the popularity of normal wars cuz I bet most clans just do cwl and nothing else so this makes it so that clans are always going to be spinning up wars which will improve the matchmaking but they didn't think about all the consequences it would have on the game economy. If they really wanted to buff the popularity of something they should have added the ores to the builder base considering the battle machine and battle copter will probably get equipment eventually as well, and with builder hall 11 coming out soon maybe they could add either three new collectors or just combine them somehow into like a multi resource collector

    the war part isn't a huge issue as there are plenty of clans that don't care about basic wars and don't care whether or not ur heros are upgrading. only time it does if u want to participate is in clan war league. The only thing i don't really like about these new resources is that there are only 2 ways to acquire them for free. On top of that one of the ways heavily depends on winning clan wars and if u lose u get less than half u would of gotten by winning. A lot of time gating and a lot of relying on others to get this resource effectively

      @@Trathien- honestly if u have atleast one hero with right equipment as i have done it plenty of times i’ve gotten 3 stars with the appropriate army its actually just more dependent on how active ur clan is in traditional war and if u can get 2 stars even it’s fine in traditional cw

    The current issue with ores is 2 fold.
    The first issue is the lack of which you can receive from cwl, clan wars, and attacks. If we look at best case scenario for a month. You're a th16, your in Legends League, you war every day including cwl.
    If you war every day for 30 days besides the 7 days for cwl then do regular wars on top of doing Legend league 3 star bonuses. You'd get on average if you win all wars.
    For LL you'd make 30,000 shiny and 1,620 glowy.
    Cwl will net you 7,532 shiny, 266 Glowy, and 35 stary.
    Regular wars is basically the same as cwl 2 attacks taking 2 days. Giving a total of 30,128 shiny, 1064 glowy, and 140 stary.
    For a grand total over a full month you'd get 67,660 Shiny, 2950 glowy, and 175 stary ore on average if we won every war.
    What does it cost to upgrade 1 equipment from 1 to 18.
    27260 shiny ore, & 1920 glowy ore, or 36860 gems ($270) to max a single equipment from 1 to 18.
    What about epic equipment you might ask.
    56060 shiny ore, 3720 glowy ore, and 480 stary ore; or 91460 gems ($660)
    You will never get enough stary ore to keep up with new epic equipment if it drops even every 3 months for new epic equipment. The bottleneck is the glowly ore really because you will have an abundance of shiny but never enough glowly or stary.
    In addition you need to be online every day for at the very least 6 months to upgrade the 6 "new" hero equipments not to mention the 8 "old" hero equipments that should already be at lv 15.

      lvl 18 for the epic equipment is prettymuch good enough the part above it is really endgame and doesnt give u asmany stats but yeah after 18 the stary or amounts are kinda insane

      @@BabyKnxckzcouldn’t agree more. People act like you have to, or even it’s wise, to upgrade every piece of equipment. Be selective and upgrade what gives you the best bang for your buck and you’ll be fine. For starters, absolutely do not waste ore on every single common equipment. Maybe pick one common equipment per hero and then save up for their epic. Problem mostly solved.

      He meant we have 1 of bare minimum 4... one of them is out, sure, but its only 1/4th of the amount we will get at the very least, and likely we will end up with more than one per hero

    I think they should incorporate the upgrades of heros into the blacksmith as well which will allow us to use them even when upgrading. Also getting rid of book of heros is a better idea imo. Also we need more ores. They can just give us more ores from clan wars and star bonus to mitigate the problem of insufficient ores.

    I think something to really consider though too is that we know CoC recently expanded their dev team, and as a result they'll likely place some focus on expanding the world and game by trying new things. They have the people that allows the time for experimentation. Maybe we're simply in an early phase of a concept that had initial release oversights and simply needs to be better fleshed out to help everyone's capability for smooth progression.
    That said, I agree with everything mentioned in this vid but I just wanted to voice that possibility.

    For me updating heroes would be great if you got some huge bonus of ores every 5 levels maybe even reduce time or make them completely usable so their update would be like walls, instant with some small bonus for big price but after a while it would add up, i dont know why they didnt keep this mechanism of updating skill/equipment of heroes as you reach new +5 level, especially when lower townhalls dont have any bonus from previous levels of heros skills and even those who has they dont have much ores to update those new equipments to usable form for their townhall

    Maybe somewhere in the middle would make all players feel better?
    Retain the items and the heros being separate, no need to roll back their work. What they can do to pivot is tie the original items to the heros level, leaving those unable to be leveled with ores and every 5th hero level you get the next rank of their ability like it was before. This way you can still have the heros level matter being tied to two items that will keep up with them and if you want to swap then you only need to level half the amount of items.

    I think everytime you upgrade your heroes you still level up the originak gears/abilities and only thoes so it allows you to have a reason to upgrade heroes and allows you to usee your ores on the new equipments for the heroes

    I've been saying since I started playing a year ago, the heor upgrade time should max out at 1.5-2 days or just let you use the heros while they are upgrading but double their recovery time (same as upgrading barracks) basically not being able to use my archer queen at all since I've gotten her over 6 months ago is ridiculous.

    the best way to fix this issue is lowering the upgrade times for heroes and allowing them to be used while upgrading (just like troops) and boost the ammount of ores you get

    I understand that the upgrading of heroes feels kinda underwhelming now but other than that it’s really good. I think this update is great and that people should be happy about change in such an old game, it’s just so hard for people to be happy now

    I think removing the inability to use heroes in attacks while they’re being upgraded and maybe reduce their costs by at least 25% but preferably over 50% would solve some of the big issues this update brought along.
    ATM I can basically only upgrade my heroes for 2 and a half outta the 4 weeks of every month (for CWL). If I do upgrade them then I earn even less ores from regular clan wars because we’re more likely to lose.
    I do like the idea of ores being obtained from builder base bonuses and I personally think even the raid capital should be included in this. You get a certain amount of ores based on how many attacks you do each weekend + the league your clan is in or the amount of damage your clan does. Or even just adding them to the raid medal shop. (I just want more people to do raid weekend 😭)

      I agree with you, my friend, or should come from all game modes. That way it incentivizes you to play all game modes to speed up progression in the home village, because all game modes should tie back into the home village. In the builder base specifically does not do that very well anymore. And just to be clear I am a big fan of the builder base, but it feels separate from the rest of the game.

    They should reduce the cost of hero upgrade (dark elixir) and have more ways to obtain ores such as raid weekend, normal attacks, or even special events

    I don’t think that the amount of ores you get is too limited since I could already upgrade the new epic equipment to lvl 12 by just doing a few attacks every couple days, so changing that would just lead to everyone having every hero ability maxed out in like a month but I do agree, that hero upgrade have been made much worse

    I really do hate the fact that it's kinda a must now to play in clan wars
    I've not been very active the last few months but its kinda like a daily routine to empty my collectors, do maybe one attack and upgrade when i got the ressources
    Now it sucks even more since upgrading my heroes is worth nothing and i don't have the resources to upgrade my equipment

    I leveled my base to TH14 and maxed all heros and troops completely f2p. Working on TH15 now. The game has gotten wayyy better every year for f2p. No army cost was a game changer, because before that, i never used any good armies especially dark elixir troops because I needed resources for upgrading. Raid shop was also great, and it's hard to tell cause all my equipment was given lvl 15, but the new system should be better for f2p because you can now increase the power of all heros partially without putting them down for upgrade. The key as always is, you have to play the game. Clan wars, CWL, raids, multiplayer attacks....

    i think they should now compress the hero level... like from 95 reduce it to 20... that way we will have 1 or 2 new levels of heros for each townhall and it will help the players use the heroes easily...
    yeah they can increase the hero prices and time and also the hero book price (1500 gems)

    All of this is mitigated when Hero Potions are accounted for. They now max your heros for you townhall Level and you can ALWAYS get enough of them from raid weekends to participate in every war and CWL attack and have max Heros.
    So this update actually made progression much much friendlier, because hero levels now don't really matter, so you can always have them up and use them + still upgrade the equipment via the ores you get.

    Could be pretty easy to fix,
    make ores in the raid/league medal shops and to the Builder Base Starbonus.
    And to fix the Heros they should remove the Hero upgrading time or make them usable while upgrading,
    but that would make hero books useless so they should remove the upgrade time completely.

    I agree with a lot of others here. There needs to be some correlation between hero level and equipment. A multiplier onto the gears effects based on the previous hero +5 lvl system could be a good compromise that keeps a similar feel while allowing you to use any equipment.

    The thing is quite simple:
    F2P or average player cannot depend on heroes and power potions for ever because raid medals are more useful for builder and lab potions due to massive time and costs reduction(same for CWL medals except in few cases where buying hammers is a better choice) . Even if you use potions to have a max offence, your skill cannot be boosted by a potion so if you are not able to attack and score high destruction you are doing worse than stay at you current level without rushing.
    You need to have high level heroes otherwise high level defenses knock them down in seconds. So to short things up if you have pretty strong heroes you can do as much wars as possible to gain ores and max out few strategic equipments. (Eternal tome at 1st place) otherwise I think it's better to upgrade heroes and doing only CWL once a month to balance out between heroes level and equipment one and if you are used to buy gold pass or you buy it often it's even better due to books, bigger banks and even more reductions.
    Right now ores are a concept like in royale so totally pay to win also time wise is better to upgrade heroes at hight levels.

      How are ores pay to win? You get them for free for actually playing the key aspects of the game (trophy pushing and clan wars). A single days star bonus in legends costs 1270 gems, thats like 10$. A single war win nets like 20$ of ores. If you want to skip an entire month of playing you actually are looking at paying 600$. Noone besides the big whales is gonna do this and even most content creators havent gemmed all their equipment.

    Actually it is a problem that can be easily solved. As BDLegend rightly said, with the heroes potions now raise them to the maximum of your TH, so you go to clan war all the time until you have a large amount to have all the common and epic ones at level 18. Once you have done that, start improving the heroes, because even if you have them low level, with a potion you can raise them to lvl 80-95 in case you are TH14-16, and with the medals of the capital you can buy potions for the 7 days of CWL, saving the whole month that you are raising the heroes.

    Ores would be completely fine in my opinion if they reduced the time for upgrading heroes. No reason to keep the original upgrade times if they’re going to lock most of the stats away in something else

    They will probably have to balance it by nerfing Hero Equipment Upgrading, aside from being limited by the level of the blacksmith to upgrade an equipment it also needs a requirement for specific level of heroes, example for a level 8 Eternal tome, Warden must be at level 40, something like that.

    my problem is if an equipment gets nerfed or a better one is introduced, all your progress leveling the old equipment is gone. Your hard earned ores can be gone in a patch notice.

    there a few issues that needs to be addressed firstly atleast the base abilities of the should have been attached to the hero upgrades and additional equipments withe the blacksmith atleast that gives a purpose to upgrade the heroes and secondly the cwl i have recently seen rushed players with decent defenses rushing to 16 with hero potion giving them max heroes so no way to stop them with def
    as u had mentioned in the rushig video up th level use potion and up the equipment.

    I agree, i was excited with new abilities of the heroes but i really hated the addition of 3 new currencies. I have really continued upgrading my heroes because im around maxing them in th14, and i thought that upgrading the heroes would also improve the abilities. I havent really payed that much of attention to the new abilities, but between them and unlocking the epic equipment only by a specific period or event is really shitty. I have a feeling those abilities are gonna be OP and the full idea of equipment should be variety on strategies, but it seem they are trying to make it more pay to win. I love the idea of variety but make it accesible. We dont need to duplicate the currencies just for them.

      The game is pay to progress, not pay 2 win. Also i dont get your complaint about the new currency. Its free to get by playing key aspects of the game (wars and leagues) and actually its gem pricing is awful. Noone in their right mind is going to spend 50$ on a single level of equipment.

    If you start upgrading the equipment at townhall 8 like usual, you'll find yourself maxing your equipment easily. It's just hard because it got added to th8, and people who are way higher now have to catch up multiple townhalls worth of equipment upgrades. It's like if they suddenly released a new hero in the future that you can get access to at th15, but then you start crying about it because you have like 40 levels of catching up because you're a th17. Why can't people just think before complaining? Even if you participate in 0 wars due to hero upgrades, you'll still have a fairly easy time leveling up your equipment, as long as you try to stay at higher leagues than usual for your townhall level.

    They should make it so ALL ores can get obtained from clan games as well,it’s only once a month for a week but the very first level of the blacksmith can already hold 10000 shiny ore so it shouldn’t be a problem to make a tier 5 reward like 3000 shiny ore,600-800 glowy ore, or 20-25 (maybe more) stary ore,it wouldn’t be huge but it would be a good first step to making it more achievable to free 2 play players along with encouraging higher participation with clan games since in my experience some clans still struggle with getting higher participation in them especially when we have the rewards up to 75000

    the beauty of coc was when you didnt play for like some years you could come back and just start grinding again and still eventually unlock every new thing…..

    yeah currently hero levels are trash, they cost so much for little value and one thing people judge your progressions is hero levels so having them low restricts you from cwl. they need to change the cost and especially the time and currently it's very much very needed to make sure everyone will upgrade their heroes. if changes not made it's actually cheaper to buy hero potions in the shop for war

    I am in titan 1 I get most of my shiny and glowy ore from normal attacks but I get starry ores only from clan war which is not a big problem because I am leader of lvl 12 clan so I think those who are at high leagues and high level clans this update is beneficial to them (also I am a free to play player) my tip to succes in clash of clans is just stay in a clan for high time then start a new clan with low requirements then you can be successful after few months my clan was a success after starting 7 clans so I think its a bit risky also

    The problem that always was is that heros are unusable for a week when you upgrade them. Ores just make this issue much worse. I have lvl 90 hero’s and I’m treating them as walls now and saving them for last as the gear is just more op

    People are complaining about the 1500 gems but gems in coc are way easier to get than many people realize. You will be able to get that amount in 3-4 months easy f2p just through regular game play

    the only problem here is that the trophy economy is broken. When I pushed back to champion on my th9 most of the bases I found would give 3 trophies per 3 star. Especially townhalls at equal level or th10. Mostly I had to attack th11's which are ofc impossible to 3 star, and really hard to 1 star (for a th9). Hoping that I could find a base where 1-2 stars would give me 10-20 trophies (often just getting 5-7 trophies).
    Okay, all fine and dandy right? NO! When I got attacked I would lose 40-50 trophies, so I had to attack 5-10 attacks just to BREAK EVEN... And I have a lot more time to spend than most people. Let's not even talk about losing like 30+ trophies if I fail to get a star on a th11. Because of this, I only had time to push trophies during the halloween event, with broken troops, and I had to play during classes.
    This needs to be fixed, because attacking cassually. It's genuinely hard for a th9 to break out of gold/crystal... that's AWEFUL. And because of this, the ores I can get are sooo limmited unless I nolife the game to an unreal extent, and that's unacceptable for a mobile game.

    take like 60% of the dark elixir cost out of hero upgrades and distribute it to the blacksmith upgrades. also make it so that the heroes can be used while being upgraded, but the equipment cannot, also the equipments now have medium length upgrade times (day or two), and finally, cut down on the number of hero upgrades, consolidate 5 levels into 1, while increasing the price and keeping the overall stats the same. max queen after the change would have same stats, but be only 19 upgrades instead of 95, with each upgrade costing 5x as much (while also having the reduction from most of the cost being shifted to the equipments), and also make it so that each hero upgrade takes 1 week max, so we get a significant total reduction to time spent upgrading heroes
    also make it so warden equipments upgrade with elixir unlike the other heroes in keeping with the normal upgrading thing

    Imo they should make a mine for the ores like the gem mine
    For example if u reach a townhall in builder hall then u unlock a mine that the more it gets upgraded the more ores it produces while unlocking other ones

    Upgrading the heroes was already quite flustrating above th 12 because they are really the most op troops for attacking, even with 1 hero down it's basically impossible now to score 3 stars against a th 15. Equipment is a really refreshing and cool feature making attacking a bit easier but the accumulation of ores are definitely a problem that need to be solved. Hero upgrade time is also getting a bit out of hand when the max level is almost 100. I think it's good punishing rushed th-s because it's ruining the gameplay for both ends. Limiting the th upgrades to a certain average levels of defensive towers would be a great solution.

    Making equipment levels depend on the hero levels would help give those upgrades their value back. Still, hero upgrades should become faster or cheaper now given that their abilities have been pulled out

    Things that must be added to make ores ab it more accessible:
    1) If there is a X2 or X4 star bonus event, give the multiplier to the ores as well not just the loot.
    2) Add a new clan perk to give 20% more ores in wars.
    3) Add ores to the free rewards in the season challenges

    Two simple solutions for these problems: Make heros available during attacks while upgrading (they can still be disabled for defense while upgrading) and make the ores available for purchase with raid medals as an easier way to obtain them for free to play players, as well as make them a part of the win attack bonus that players get for winning an attack.

    They should decrease upgrade timers for heros. Im doing good because my clan is chill about upgrading heros during war with the exception of cwl because more is on the line there. But right now there's little reason to upgrade the warden when his main use is the eternal tome and now thats separate. Im going to upgrade my royal champion and king normally but try to use books and hammers of heros specifically for the queen and warden

    I like my clan because theyre pretty chill about wars, you can join a regular war even with all heroes down, as long as you get both attacks in they dont care, in CWL though you must have your heroes up which has led to some mistakes in timing making me buy a hero book for 500 gems, but they let you grind ores without your heroes so its not so bad for me to upgrade heroes before cwl

    They should treat Hero upgrade like troop upgrade, or the revamped barrack and spell factory upgrade.
    1. Either war would have a different system that would allow Heroes be always available, just like how war base has everything always available. I mean it was unfair to begin with, for the offence side.
    2. Can use hero while in upgrade with a greater healing time, though I think the previous idea is much better.

    We need: tokens to get a free equipment upgrade, some new way to obtain ores, and either a price reduction on equipment upgrades or a way to passively farm them, like a gem mine (would be cool if it was in the builder base tbh).
    To solve the hero upgrade issue:
    I loved others ideas to get ore per upgrade of a hero (though I think it should give an upgrade token for a free upgrade or something).
    Make hero levels take way less time and cost like has been suggested forever.
    Make heros able to be used while upgrading. Even if it's just in war, just so long as it's not such a restriction.
    Or just hero upgrades instant... it would be easy to level them way too fast, but it would solve every issue anyone has ever had with them.

      @vanessaxoax7646 for the reason of not everyone hops on every day to get star bonus, a lot of people don't want to participate in war at all, or wouldn't be allowed when heros are down, and also for the fact we are going to be getting new equipment, at least 3 more, probably 5 since royal champ has only 2 items, and none of them have epic equipment other than king.
      And that's not even including that those stats you mention are likely at high levels (much larger bonuses), might not include upgrading multiple equipment for the same hero (might just be 2 per hero rather than actually all of them), and might just be blatantly incorrect. I'm not sure where you heard it from, so I can't be sure

    There’s nothing wrong with the ores. I love that no one can just max them all out overnight. I think it will also have ppl think twice about rushing. Forces ppl to go into war more too.
    I remember being in clans where our like #1 would attack their #20. I think there will be less of that too, given that the amount of ores you get depends on the strength of the base.
    It’s the hero upgrade mess that needs to be fixed, ores are fine.

    Hero Potion update though.. + upgrading equipment overtime = No downtime on heroes while still upgrading the majority of your heroes stats.
    I truly think that the leveling of raw heroes will be phased out as this equipment system gets fleshed out.

    maybe they can give some ores if you upgrade a hero
    maybe if you do 5 upgrades on your hero you can upgrade the abilties to the equivalent level

    I think it’s really stupid that upgrading my hero’s is basically pointless besides the hp boosts. The fact that no matter how much I upgrade my hero’s, it won’t ever matter to their abilities again. This update was a cool idea, but the game suffered because of it.

    Imo the original or default abilities should be tied to heroes level, and you can upgrade the others from the blacksmith. These would make sense to upgrade heroes and wont disturb the ores system either.

    I don't mind the upgrading time for heroes, but I think they should make the heroes available to use even when they are still upgraded.

    I think they just should add ores to builder base daily bonus. It would make bb more popular and make ores easier to get, cause you can buy bottles with star bonus in bb

    They created the same problem as the builder base problem for the heroes like damn it was so hard to farm builder base resources before

    I love the idea of equipment. My only downer is, it takes a while to get the ore. Im currently nearly maxed TH 11 at master 3 league. My highest lest equipment is the recently added giant gauntlet. I want to upgrade all the other equipment but its hard to level it up. But i love it
