I met him through my long loved best friend, and I can't say it was love at first sight, for me, but it was the ending and the start of something I'll never forget. we had grown fond of each other, and began to get to know one another, and slowly grew to love each other. my love was only a grain of sand, on his beach of passion and hope. after years of an never ending love, that we never spoke of, but felt, like skinny love: He confessed to me his unconditional care for me, and in hopes of making me his own, I had only rejected him. my love for him went as far as being friends, and always caring for him as a friend should. I broke his heart, and he sometimes makes jokes about it, and tells me he has moved on. I know he never did, because the look in his eyes the very night we met, never seemed to fade... it never died. we began to see each other less and less, and when we do, he looks at me like it is the very first time... it breaks my heart, because I wish my love for him was more than it is, but the truth is: he never was the one.

I saw that it was the official video from 2008 and that it was posted 12 years ago and thought - well, that's wrong...that wasn't 12 years ago - and then I looked at my calendar again - it's like I forgot it was 2021 or something
