But he is right in saying that your answers must be honest, true to your self and out of the box. American express interview process really is a bit difficult to crack. They strictly use the STAR answering method. They want your answer to include the Situation, Task given, Action taken and Result/Resolution. And they use a mock scenario afterwards. Your mock questions are on point but you have to answer using the star method to get a high score or you won’t get the position.

I had an interview with an AMEX recruiter yesterday. I had applied for the position a few days earlier, so I was encouraged by their email to schedule a phone interview. I've worked in a banking call center for several years so I was quick with my answers, as I had encountered those customer scenarios several times a week within any given month. In a busy call center you quickly learn to think outside the box and multitask, with fine attention to detail. I hope I'm a fit for their company .

@@khushisingh2897 I passed the first round, they did not ask many questions. Just asked how did I find this job, what do you think the job entails . Why do you think you would be a good fit. Tell me how you would handle an angry call or what did you do to go above and beyond for someone. What do you expect of the job. And ask if you have any questions. Second round was harder there was 2 people to talk to they were very cold. Asked me to introduce myself , asked about why you wanna work here, what do you expect and what can we expect from you. And other things I forgot. I hope this helps some of you. No role play here this time
@@khushisingh2897 if you have done this sort of work before, try to give example of a difficult situation you have overcome and give them legitimate reasons why you want to work for Amex. Why you think hiring you is a good move for the company what will you personally contribute. Also try giving example what you did to go above and beyond for someone. Why your personality is a good fit for customer service. Also try to relax because in the end if they dont see your worth its their loss not yours, the universe never gives that which you don't need for your personal growth. And be happy. 😊 also try to ask some questions yourself at the end of it.

The recruiter told me that wheter the process is terminated she will let me know but i have not received any answer after a week?? I do not know if the proccess is too long. Someone could help me?

Once you are invited to the meet and greet. They get back with you within a week or two. Some positions get back with you in 48 hrs.
