There’s actually 2 hope and a future charity shops in Antrim, 1 is inside the mall it’s good too but all furniture and some clothes and the plant shop one is further up the road right next to a petrol station, if you blink you miss it lol it has plants, furniture, bikes but no clothes ☺️🌸🍀💕 take care Lynsey

Wow! Such a beautiful transformation! The lounger was a steal with the cushion included!! I loved the reuse of the older items as well. I’ve used an old bean pot, metal tea kettle, and metal buckets. I have my old mailbox that I intend to attach to my garage and put flowers in it next year!! Almost anything can be used as a planter, including an old farm grain scoop!!

Trust me when I say that your subscribers would never think of you wasting money. Your videos taught me to always check the clearance or bargain sections when buying plants. You can find some really good plants in need of tender care. You’re dream garden is coming along beautifully. It may take a year or two, but it’s going to be amazing. I’ll be here following along. As every gardener knows it take time to create a beautiful garden, which grows with you. If you can learn how to take cuttings and grow them on you will find your stock of plants will increase dramatically. Loved the little pot village - I have something similar in a pot which has some Birch tree seedlings growing in it - and there is now a little fairy colony sitting around the "trunks" in the pot. I was thinking that if you moved your arch seat in front of the calor gas cannisters it would help to hide them a bit more especially if you could tie a piece of old canvas or sailcloth to the back of the seat [ look on freecycle for some, and other bargains too. I have an old cane table which I painted with black gloss paint [ to match my garden seats] and it has been out in the garden for about ten years now [in Scotland near Glasgow - so lots of rain too but I have repainted it a couple of times . Your garden is coming along tremendously, and you SHOULD be proud of your hard work and thrifty nature.💚

For the gas canisters, have you thought about getting an old wooden wardrobe and removing the bottom or part of the bottom? Attach it to the wall for safety, obviously! You could then add plants on it and decorate it!
What comes across in all your videos and especially this one is that, if everyone (including me) was as strongly dedicated to their realistic budget and instead invested their energy in finding and learning where the good deals are and committing to restraint while still manifesting a gorgeous home, gifts and decorations to fill your home and quality time with family, the world would be a much better place. You earned your temporary larger budget and I hope you fully enjoyed your reward until it comes around again and then hopefully more frequently. I could only imagine how that would continue to improve not only your personal life but your community as well.

For the trellis just get some wooden pallets (usually free) and some screw and nails! Then have fun 😉
Where you live is gorgeous, keeping an eye on peoples skips is also a great way to get free things!!!

They sell screens to screen out trash cans, etc. You're so handy, you could make a screen from lattice or something to hide those gas canisters.
