Hey I have a 1995 370 sea ray. Looking to pick up fuel sender but where do I get the part from? Ok thanks. Love your videos. Big fan. I am in midland on and love boat g bay
So far all of your replacement part numbers from your other videos have been the same as my 2000 Sundancer 340. What was the part number for the sending unit? Thanks!
Glad it was helpful 👍 From what I've learned from a fellow Sea Ray 330 owner is that the starboard sender is accessible from the starboard cabinet in the aft cabin. I haven't looked for it myself, but that sounds right. . .
@@BoatingWithBoogaboo Which cabin starboard cabinet? I appreciate if you explain more where exactly I can get access to the starboard tank sender, mine is defective
Have you, or anyone here, had to change the fuel pump? I think or port engine fuel pump is starting to go. The pressurization noise when you turn the ignition on sounds like it is struggling, and the engine runs rough.
This year I was determined to get as many projects ticked off the list that I could before relaunch. Happy to say that now, finally, all of the gauges on the helm work ;-)
@@khaledkahled3419 From what I understand, access to the starboard fuel sender is from in the aft (mid) cabin. Check the base inside the little storage cabinet on the starboard side of that room. Should be a removal panel to get at that sender.
did you seal the sender after installing? I need to replace mine. my old boat had an epoxy sealing it in.
Thanks for that ...was fun to watch ...cheers
Glad you enjoyed it.

I picked mine up at a local marina. Should be a stock item at most marinas, as they are generic to most tanks. Love gorgeous #GeorgianBay :-)
Ok thanks for the info and the quick reply. Spring project for sure...
Nice, happy you didn't get stuck in that cabinet lol
You and me both! IT was close (no pun intended) though ;-)

It was just a Sierra Fuel Sender Kit. Kinda generic and adjustable.
@@BoatingWithBoogaboo Thank you!
Hi, how did you shut off the batteries? Disconnected the cables?
Battery switch.
Great video and huge help. Any idea where the access to the sending unit for the starboard tank is? Appreciate it!

You have a lot more patience than me
I have a boat. Patience is a prerequisite ;-)
My replacement sender has sat in the parts box so long, you can't read the label.

Great vid! But i wish you would have posted this one two weeks ago. I just paid $$ to have this done!! Crap!!!!
Sorry to hear that, but two weeks ago the sender was still in the package ;-)
More accurate question could be: Is there such a thing as an accurate gas gauge on a boat? lol
Yes, and it's determined by the distance between fuel docks ;-)
