    Known as the best fresh water cruising grounds in the world, Georgian Bay is located in the heart of the Great Lakes and forms part of Lake Huron. Renowned for is rugged beauty, Georgian Bay has been attracting adventurous boaters for over a century, but it's rocky shoreline and challenging navigation routes are not for the faint hearted and must be approached with the greatest care and respect. I'm happy to share our own adventures through this inspiring area with my 'Georgian Bay Boating' Playlist here: • Georgian Bay Boating

    Glad you posted this, I have been storing my tools under the V berth and it’s a pain to get to them…plus I mess up a bed that been made up by the admiral every time. Under the couch or booth is a much better spot. My 95 also has a storage area under the floor of the table area. Great video and I appreciate you sharing what you stored in each area.

    Hmmm...the ice box on top of the wet bar is just a pass thru on mine to a trash bin underneath. Obviously an alteration from the previous owner but it serves as our primary trash receptacle (13 gallon kitchen size) vs. the mini bin in the galley. A couple other small differences in feature location but overall the same as my 1997. We too have the doors under the settee at the floor level as another person has mentioned. I think my center line floor bins are empty. Might have to rethink that also. When you do this same video on your future 370, I'm probably going to have to start shopping...again.

      Yes, I'm looking forward to sharing that #boat as well, when the time comes. I'm also planning to show the tools/spares/parts I generally have with us as well. Have had a few requests on that over the years.

    Thanks for all the videos!
    In the forward cabin/bunk, the interior port hole covers that inset into the port holes, did you make those or by chance purchase them?
    If made, how?
    If purchased, from where?
    Thank you in advance!

    Your comment about tool and supply storage had me thinking... You should do a video of what YOU carry for tools, parts and supplies to deal with repairs on the fly. Unless of course you've already done said video in which case just point it out again :D

    Is it possible to use those black thin sound isolations used in cars down in the storage right in the front by the V?? (I have a girlfriend sensitive to every little sound when sleeping) 🤔

    • @BoatingWithBoogaboo
      @BoatingWithBoogaboo  5 месяцев назад

      If that's the case, I would suggest that the boating lifestyle isn't for you guys. Beyond waves lapping against the hull, there is also the sound of (in our case) geese/ducks flying overhead in the middle of the night, rain drops landing (sometimes with great force) onto the deck overhead, the odd bird landing on the railings (which can be quite loud) and the sounds of other boaters close by that can sometimes be up to all hours at night - or early in the morning (with voices coming right through the hull).
      I would suggest that you will never find the right answers for the type of boat you think you want. All the answers in the world will never substitute for real life experiences.
      Trust me, after 25++ years of having our own boats and doing extensive cruising and traveling, the ONLY way to determine what is right for you is to start by actually buying a boat and trying it out yourself. Only then will you be able to determine what features are most important for your own boating lifestyle. Listening to me or anyone else will never provide all the insights that is going to make your experience a perfect one.
      Fair warning; it's going to take a few different boats and a LOT of money to figure it out ;-)

    Love searays but my biggest complaint is the port holes in V do not open.

    • @BoatingWithBoogaboo
      @BoatingWithBoogaboo  2 года назад

      I believe they did that to reduce potential flooding if one were to forget to close them when under way. We've seen many times that boaters forget to close their portholes and end up with rainwater in the cabin.

    • @BoatingWithBoogaboo

      No, it was never a problem. We had the same bed configuration on our 300 Sundancer. And wind/waves isn't an issue.
