Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio is a video game developer housed within the Japanese video game company Sega as part of its Sega CS Research and Development No. 1 division. It is known for developing the games in the Like a Dragon series, which the studio is named after, since Yakuza 5.

Imagine if in Gaiden it was the opposite of how it usually goes. Once you complete all the substories, Joryu is hired by his employers to eliminate Jo Amon.
Wonder if it will be Jo or Shin, i expect this game to be against Shin with 8 having Jo
@@martin_crakc786I wish we got Jo again but we have seen him last in kiwami2. Don't know if the reason for his lack of appearance is due to the new protagonists (Yagami and Ichi) or just because he really died by Kenshiro's hands in LP

God I hope Jo is assigned to take down Joryu and he doesn't know. Then part way through the fight, he realises.
Would be an amazing way for RGG Studios to utilize mid-battle dialogue for once too. Maybe something that goes like:
"You... your techniques... Nobody outside of the Dragon's bloodline should know them."
"Do I...?"
"I have no name, Amon."
Assuming he doesn't recognize him immediately because that disguise is not foolin anybody

But really it would be cool to see if Jo was actively searching for Kiryu (From what I remember Kiryu is on good terms with Shin and maybe just Maybe a teeney bit of Jo during yakuza 6-7) they might have a truce but this fight could be when Jo finally found Kiryu after searching so long for him. And possibly wanting a rematch for old times sake but not as an enemy mind you but he could still potentially kill you during the fight, so we gotta be prepared.

I'm noticing some pretty neat details here. this song is a mix of 3/4 songs, it used Yakuza 3's hear this in the game guitar, Kiwami 2's sad instruments, Yakuza 0's female fiercest warrior vocals/kiwami vocals, love the fact it's 4 songs combined into one

Eh, I consider the recruitment in 6 to be along the lines of the Jo Bros joining Majima Construction in K2; they just do it as a way of figuring Kiryu out. It's not really intended to be a "well if you can't beat 'em..."

Usually I dislike Amon themes, so I can't say I was hyped for this one... But the groovy rhythm exceeded my expectations! This is a bop!!!

Respectfully, why do you dislike them? I personally listen to them on repeat, but i can understand and open to their flaws.
@@lukecwolf I find their leitmotive too obvious which makes them redundant, as well as far too agressive most of the time. The combination of those 2 flaws I see makes me dislike Amon Themes, though there is one exception, Y7's Amon's theme, that is slow, chilling, calming, much like mercury's track. I hope it helped!
Thanks! Funny enough, i agree. Although i don't like the leitmotif and agression, it gave/gives me a rush of adrenaline whenever i fought them in game, and I still callback to it of how tough the battles are. Hearing the different ones like the one in 7, 3 and judgement and this is just refreshing to hear a new Enemy. Thanks for the reply!

How did you get the Choir chanting samples from the other Amon songs?
i used a track separation tool that separates the vocals from the music. then i processed them a few times with a bunch of effects until they sounded clean enough to use
