They have been developing the aircraft for a while and at first glance the time has been very well spent. The detail and texture work is second to none imo. Obviously the ultimate test will be its handling and the behaviour of the avionics especially the FMC and autopilot. The XP11 model was pretty good albeit with some issues but I'm looking forward to getting into the seat of the new release. Thanks Q8 for the glimpse of what is to come.

You'll be able to do that with the FMS and the EFB. However, right now you will not be able to pop the PFD MFD or EICAS to a different window, becasue those screens are created differently and X-Plane doesn't give us a simple way to do that. To be fair, you really do want to have the PFD right in front of you when you fly and not on a separate screen on the side... but we have some ideas that might enable us to do that in the future. i would agree on the outside detailing and rendering is very well done, but I'm not sure what is bothering me about the cockpit display, there is some feature that is not totally impressing me, but yes on the whole it is quite good.. I would say that the lighting/reflection played a role in how things were done/crafted to give it a real authentic look
Hey, great vid. I’ve been thinking about switching from mfs2020 to xplane 12 as mfs is just way too demanding for my setup. Do you think I’d get good performance from my i7 12650H processor and RTX 3050 ti 4gb vram?
@@Q8Pilot We call it Authentic Level :) Study level is a very subjective term. I believe that a lot of people will consider this study level, and we have a lot of pilots who are very happy with all the capabilities that are currently already developed.

I have been using Sim Heaven's X-World scenery and it's really good! Not MSFS but darn close, IMHO. (and it's free!!)
I've been flying the ERJ family quite a lot in XP11, and I've been also helping them with testing. I must say they've outdone themselves, great job!

Certainly a lot of work has been done, and many real world pilots have provided their inputs into its making.

The overhead panel isn't all that good imo. Everything else is great though

Is this going to be study level? And is anybody still developing for Prepar3D or is that a done deal?
This aircraft will be complex and simulates a lot of the aircraft systems but will not be study level.
