Ontex pilot project in Italy: converting production fluff into organic fertilizer

Sustainable innovation news from our plant in Italy! We are launching a circular economy pilot project, converting leftover cellulose fluff from diaper production into organic fertilizer. Managed by Omnisyst and local farm Terra di Gaia, earthworms play a crucial role in converting an annual 15 tons of cellulose powder into organic fertilizer. This initiative is just one part of our broader sustainability strategy to eliminate production waste by 2030.
