Hi Betty. Thanks! I try to make it so simple for folks to understand and make sure you can see exactly what I am referring too. Glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks so much for all your support!
Hi Binkie! Glad the video helped. I have another one on performing the software upgrade on the machine as well. Remember to keep your machine up to date. Here is the link: ruclips.net/video/PWxPGzlFcZE/видео.html
Hi Jasmine. Glad you enjoyed the video! I love the machines. When you get the 1055 it is going to blow your mind away! Get ready to fall in love with your new machine!!!
Hi there! Love your videos! So informative. I have Brother PR1055X and decided it was time to change my needles. I have only had a few months but have been cleaning it as you recommended. I took all 10 needles out and put them in to the very top so they touch the top of the square box but as much as I have tried my needle threader no longer will thread any of the needles. Is this a common problem and if so do you have any recommendations or is the needle threader finicky? Thank you in advance for any advise. Sincerely, Karyn
Hi Karen. Make sure that you have the right needles in the machine. Use a magnifying glass to make sure the needle threader is entering the eye of the needle. If it's not working you will have to replace it. I found a video that was very useful when I had to replace mine. Here is the link. They do an excellent job in showing all the details on changing it. ruclips.net/video/5MVNhxmZr1Q/видео.html
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts Thank you for your reply. I appreciate the information I have ordered a replacement threader. Thank you for referencing the informative installation video. Wishing you a very merry Christmas. Thanks again.
Hi love sorry to ask so many questions but what kind of needles do u used and were do u get them thank u I been trying to look for videos but no luck 😢. Thank u so much ❤
Thank you so much my love I really appreciate all the help you give us. I hope one day I can sell items right now I just make gift for family and friends ❤️❤️❤️
I know you can’t say the exact cost… but is it true the 10 needles goes near the $20K I just watched another RUclips channel were a brand comparison says that…?
You might have a piece of thread in there. I would press the button to thread the needle and clean the area behind it. If that doesn't work your sensors might be off and you will need to take it to get serviced.
Jeanette I’m confused. On your live recently I asked you about oiling the top of the needle bars and you told me that your guy said not too. Should I or shouldn’t I?
Hi Allison. The guy told me not to do this regularly. Just oil the bobbin area whenever you are going to use the machine. He said it's not required to do all the time and even said it's not really necessary. I looked it up in the manual and they do recommend oiling the needles. So I do this only once a month or bi-monthly.
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts thank you Jeanette. I’ve seen people on RUclips oil the needle bars but no one has told me it has to be done in the year I’ve owned my machine. I guess due to Covid I never did get much instructions.
@@allisonholloway833 I have seen folks do that too. When I asked the techican he said just focus on the bobbin area. When you asked me last friday I looked it up and called him. He said I can do this but not too often. He said you don't want to mess up the felt pads there. So I told him that I would do it monthly or bimonthly. He said he would replace the pads when he doesn my annual service on the machine. I just started to do this. But the machine always worked great!
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts Jeanette I just wanted to share something with you. The first time I changed a needle on my 10 needle, I failed big time. I thought I got the screw tight enough and when I started embroidering the needle fell out and made a horrible noise. I was so upset I thought I broke the machine. Ever since then I’ve been afraid and intimidated to try again. Today I took a deep breath and with my two corgis at my side cheering me on, I changed all 10 needles without a hitch.😅😁
Stumbled on to one of the best instructional videos ever

Hi there, Do you use your 1055x daily? I don’t and I’m wondering if I have to do all this maintenance every month…
I do use it everyday. If you don't you can do it bimonthly. One thing I recommend you do, is ALWAYS oil your machine bobbin area when you turn it.

Jeanette, how do you compare both Brother Multi-needle machines?
And how much difference in price did you pay?
The difference between the two machines was about $4K. I like them both. They are very good machines.
I know you can’t say the exact cost… but is it true the 10 needles goes near the $20K I just watched another RUclips channel were a brand comparison says that…?
@@wandaivetterivera3887 I paid about $15K for the 10 needles. Each shop and state has different prices. I'm in Northern VA. They are expensive.
Big hug!
Thanks!!!
Thank you, what if I still have the message which say check your upper and bobbin
You should retread the machine.
And check the bobbin as well. If they are not filled properly, they create problems.
