I only just heard this song for the first time today, and I'm immediately attached to it enough to want to put the lyrics in my wedding vows some day.
It speaks to me on a level no song ever really has. It actually helped me realize that there's a person in my life that makes all the suffocating pain of the trauma I've experienced in life (including literally suffocating several times) just... Burn away.

to those arguing over this is a love song or not, id have to say that it most definitely is a love song. At the same time i am indeed a christian and the way i see it the song is a love song being sung to god, to worship him. If there are people here that enjoy this music and you dont affiliate yourself with god you just enjoy the music... then good for you, theres no point in arguing over the fact of if this is a love song or if you have to be christian to listen to it or whatever

Personally, I don't believe in god or anything, I tend to believe in myself and the people around me (What a let-down I know ;D)
I really LOVED every album, I love shutterbug to The end is where we begin. I don't like this album.

I love this band, I really wish they wouldn't have released this album. Because this is the first one I don't like.

***** I get what you're trying to say and first off, I'll commend you on your calm way of responding. The only thing I don't think is that they took a risk, though I think more people will like this album than their albums before this.

But seriously, I understand you. This isn't very TFK at all, I don't even have to listen to the songs. But it isn't bad. It is EXACTLY like 30 Second's To Mars and their new album. Although they had a GREAT album, just not very like themselves. TFK did not do so well on this album and it was very not like them. At the same time though, it was good, and not exactly focusing on the same thing as they always focus on.
I'm basing this comment on an interview I read of TFK and they said they make music anyone can relate to. So the atheist, christian, muslim, whatever. Granted that doesn't mean their christian side won't come out in a song or an album, but in the end it's how you interpret it.
This is exactly word for word what I'm thinking right now. I really liked all their other stuff but not this one too much. better than most music, but not the thousand foot krutch im addicted to
