The Black Sorrows stehen und fallen mit Joe Camilleri - er ist Herz und Hirn der seit 1984 bestehenden Band. 2019 wurde Camilleri als "Living Legend" vom Rolling Stone Magazin ausgezeichnet, Joes Talent als Songwriter wird auch von Größen der Musikbranche geschätzt und anerkannt - Künstler wie Elvis Costello und John Denver haben ihre eigenen Cover-Versionen seiner Songs aufgenommen.
The Black Sorrows sind eine von Australiens Bands, die beständig auf Welttournee sind und sich die Anerkennung als dynamischer Live-Act und Festival-Liebling auch außerhalb ihres Heimatkontinents erspielt haben. Sie sind im Blues ebenso heimisch wie im Rock oder im old school Rhythm'n'Blues - aber auch Einflüsse von Jazz, Country und Pop sind zu vernehmen.

Awesome..., still I miss those days with vika & linda....that lineup was killer!
Usual killer live set.... I saw youse guys in of all places, the Nerang Bowls club in SE Old, back around 2008, I guess it must have been a tune up for touring the Roaring Town record... I said to the missus, surely something's wrong, Sorrows aren't playing in Nerang, are they...? Sure enough, we rocked up and there you were, large as life, all crammed onto a tiny stage.
The best way to see such a great bunch of musos, playing your best hits and everyone having the time of their lives...... Thanks for that, Joe....!

glad to hear you like Lucky Charm...hard to play everything in 1 hour 15 mins allowed...tried to do a little from the 20 odd albums The Sorrows have released.
