The Longest Sail-Sailing SV Cabo #57

We shut the generator down, start the engines, check for engine cooling water, pull up the anchor and get underway with Jay at the helm. We are sailing from Anegada to Jost Van Dyke which will be our longest sail at 27.4 nautical miles.
We have good wind with a few other boats to race. We have the current moving in our favor which helped our speed over ground
We get a ball at Diamond Cay and launch the dinghy to made our way ashore to Taboo. From there we hike to the Bubbly Pool for a lovely afternoon relaxing in the warm Caribbean waters. The Bubbly pool is one of those all-natural experiences, without any vendors and no cost to participate. In other words, wonderful.
That evening we went ashore at Little Jost Van Dyke for dinner at the B-Line Bar. It is one of those places off the beaten path that you don’t want to miss.
Everything is better shared.
