I remember this case, the person who got scammed was rich af, he didn't realized his money went missing. I believe it was one of the founders of Riot Games aka the creator of League Of Legends.

A few years ago, there was this guy sitting next to the AXS machine in my area giving out leaflet about scam and a QR code to scan. I did ask him what he was promoting. He said he was with the police and was highlighting scam issues. I was doubtful though

That’s way too less and I would consider making mining crypto an offense with a minimum of 10 years plus 50 cane slashes since crypto unfortunately is 90% used by criminals and has no economical benefit over legal currency other than being literally the opposite of a currency and is considered gambling.
