Hey I enjoyed your tips! My hair is almost to my tailbone since I started taking care of it 3 years ago (sulfate-free, heat-free, weekly washing, etc.), and that Nautilus bun is such a lifesaver. I use it or a pretzel bun 4 days out of the week so I can hide when my hair starts to look a little greasy toward the end of the week, haha. I seldom use elastics anymore, but I was wondering if you knew whether hair sticks could damage your hair, like if the bun is too tight? I'd love to hear your thoughts on it, since I really am hoping to have long healthy hair someday.
Dear Steph: I found Baobab oil, and Beard Pomade, for the hair line, and I love Dr. Bronner's for every part!! when my hair is oily, or oiled, I spray Dr. Bronners Eucalyptus and Water over it, combing it through with a shower comb (never a small bristled comb right?) and then it looks crunchy, not gross

+Steph Arizona, you first wash and condition your hair, then detangle the hair, then use "diy hair serum". What parts of your hair do you use the "Diy hair serum" on? Once a day, you comb through your hair, then put your hair in a style for bed, only using scrunchies. Before you put your hair up for sleep, you lightly put oil only on the ends of your hair, using either the "diy hair serum", or your mixture of oils, that contain coconut, castor, and olive oil. Then you tie your hair a certain way for bed. And this is your hair routine for the first 4 to 5 days, after washing your hair. After your wash day, do you apply oil to the ends of your hair only on the day of your washday, or on other days? And if you do apply it on others days, can you please tell me does days? Second, on the 5th or 6th day, you like to oil your hair, from just below the ear and down. Do you only oil your hair from below the ear and down, and not your scalp? And which oil do you use on the 5th or 6th day? You oil your hair just enough to wear it coats the hair, without oil dripping from it. Then you wear your the snood, to cover the oiled hair. Do you put a little more oil on your scalp, if your going to wear the snood, or do you not put more oil on your scalp, if your going to wear the snood? Then at night, you braid your hair, and wrap it with the silk scafts. Then the next morning, you always wash your silk scafts, especially if you have been oiling your hair. Then typically by the end of the day, when you need to put your silk scafs on for bed, most of oil has soaked into the hair. Third, on hair wash day, when you know your about to be washing your hair on that day, you saturate your hair and scalp in oil, leaving that on your hair all day. Is this your pre-poo oil routine that you do, before washing your hair? And are you oiling your hair and scalp the same day, of the hair wash? Then at the end of that day, your washing the oil out. You use an applicator bottle to put the oil on the hair and scalp. For the scalp oiling, you typically use tea tree, lemon, and rosemary oil. Are these mixtures of oils, the same oils that you saturate your hair and scalp in, for all day, before washing your hair, or do you use a different oil for that? And is the mixture of the tree tea, lemon, and rosemary oil, the same oil, that you use on your hair, for the 5th or 6th day, or do you use a different oil? These 3 oils, are good oils, for healthy hair growth, and fighting dandruff. These 3 oils, are what you put into your oil, for your scalp. When you oil your hair and scalp, you use a hair stick, that you don't care about. When you wash the oil out of your hair, you use the no poo all natural hair wash routine. And do you have to put that much oil on your hair, for those certain days? Is their a way, I can still oil my hair, but not put that much oil in my hair? And are there any days, that I can just not put oil on my hair? And I would really aprreciate, if you would please see and make sure that everything that I have written is right, and add anything down, that I missed, and please answer my questions, when you have the time. 😊. Sorry, that this comment is so long.
