Thank you so much for your demonstrations. Love them all. Can you tell me if the Hide glue that you recommend for fusing the gold granules can be used with the fine silver ones ? or the Hide glue and the G glue are the same ? Thank you
You can use the hide glue or G Glue on both fine silver and gold granulation. The hide glue and the G Glue serve the same purpose. The G Glue is handy because it is premixed and holds granules on both flat and curved surfaces. :)
Great video!! I was wondering about using the charcoal block as well. I'm a 2yr beginner, and still overwhelmed with all I hav learned and tried! I just turned 60, wish I would have started this new Hobbie 30 yrs ago! ❤😂 lol! I do great With spoon rings, but I love 🔥♥️🔥🙌 I'm now following you, thank you for such a knowledgeable video!!!❤ 😊
I buy the clamp on led magnifiers they have on amazon www.amazon.com/Bemelux-Bifocals-Magnifying-Magnifier-Dimmable/dp/B08K8GY1F9/ref=sr_1_25?dchild=1&keywords=led+magnifier+lamp&qid=1627214444&sr=8-25 There are lots of different models and you can shop according to the level of magnification, features, etc that you like best. :)
Excellent series! Thank you for demonstrating a technique that I've read about, but is rarely covered in detail.

Question: In the absence of a kiln, can one granulate on a charcoal block?
You are very welcome! You can use a charcoal block but be sure to get the back sheet hot enough. :)

@@sassy44a You are very welcome! A magnifier is a game changer. :)
Would this be the same process with argentium silver?
No, with argentium, you fuse on a charcoal block and you use dilute liquid flux as the glue. :)
@@JewelryArts thank you 😊
