- The last time I played, I did not install both the ReShade and Textures. Now this game has turned into BF3 lol.

The OLD one looks like an indie Unreal Engine 4 game, still acceptable. The newly fan-made textures looks something like from Battlefield 3 or 4, really great, that's a big upgrade.

@@Macejkos Frostbite is far from shit.
It may be not the easiest engine to work with but the games coming from Frostbite are always end up well performing anjd looking fantastic.
@@annekedebruyn7797 Helicopters and jets are crippled in Frostbite. It's buggy and they just can't make the destruction work. I still remember how we had the good destruction first few days in BF3 and then they turdned it off to polish it, only to never give it back.
Just do the remake in UE5, it's far better engine.

Also, UE5 is far from the better engine for larger scale shooters as proven by games like Squad, Red Orchestra franchise.

Yep, It's rly scary how fast technology is advancing these days. We're closer then ever to achieving total realism in video games...won't even be able to tell from the real thing...
I don't recall it being that special, honestly. BF1942 impressed me more, some years prior... and Crysis, now that was something else.
I wasn’t too interested in the graphics back then because everything just looked good enough to tell what was what, the gameplay was almost easier because it wasn’t distracting to look at things

What file do we install this mod with ?
How do you install new shaders? Like what should the file path look like for example. I'm trying to install another pack from the mv mod.

You can try refering to the above link, the description panel gives a detailed explanation on how to install shaders. Theres some stuff u gotta change like the .ini files.
The only thing that i hate in this mod is the deaf ear effect + black Screen when enemy shooting at you.. btw nice edit👍

That's suppression like most of the newer FPS games have. The nice thing is it does work on the enemy as well, even AI. So lay down fire with an MG and it slows the enemy and keeps them from being as accurate.

Man this mod didn't work ,idk the game loaded fine and stuff (heat of battle) but is just crashes trying to play any map

The high settings are not working for me. Any idea how to make it work?
Ah yes I had issues with the high settings as well. I went with medium and it works fine. Try using either medium or low and see what works best for urs
there's an error in the ini files all you have to do is cut the line below Texture: and paste it next to the : sign after the Texture and make sure to delete the empty space below it

Mod installation instructions are in the description of each download page. If you want to install the ReShade, for example, click on the link "Heat of Battle Reshade" and it will take you to the download page. Check the description for the full instruction on both installation and setup. Hope this helps
I may also consider making a video tutorial on it, but rn im just too freaking lazy to do it. Sry about that :/ However, if you do have any questions regarding the setup process i will try my best to answer them

Ah, sry to hear that. Maybe you can try posting ur problem to the discussion thread on the mod page. I may be able to help from there, but I cannot guarantee that I can fix the problem as I'm not exactly an expert.
Best to have the problem posted on the thread so that someone with experience on the mod can identify and help fix it as well

Nope, it's just sp against bots. However, I do think there are community-made servers that require you to install some mods to connect to them if I'm not wrong.
