Stereo imaging works wonders for me. Use phase and panning techniques to widen the sound, but make sure your stereo imaging decisions don't affect your mix in mono.
Delay and reverb. The sense of creating the space required for vocals in the context of a song is a fun experience for me. And in an overall capacity I enjoy mixing as a whole.
Stereo Imaging and Volume are my favorites because if done right, already gives a sense of direction and heirachy to the project and makes every other thing easier
awesome video and tips! but lets also remember that age old saying 'you can't polish a turd'. The moral of the story is, producers please make sure your production skills is up to par before considered applying these tips! My fav technique mention here is eqing. recently i've been realizing how much of an impact eqing alone can have. stay safe yall and happy holidays!
As much as sound theory is a lot to learn and i hear people say they produce without knowing theory the irony is you actually are using theory one way or the other.the tip I’ll give out is structure yeah they’re no major rules but structure would make you create a well round work where rhythm can progress and flow.ideal structure not saying a must be Intro-4lines Verse1-16lines Pre chorus-4lines Chorus-8 lines Verse2-8 lines Pre chorus-4lines Chorus-8lines Bridge-8lines Chorus-8lines
Something I always do : automation on reverb ( decay, size ) , which allows to get more reverb effects when an instrument plays longer notes, then reducing when more notes are played. A very simple tip that can yield great results.
Great tips, I would love for you to have gone slightly deeper with the stereo field information, especially with panning. thanks for your time in making this video
I definitely need to focus more on the stereo imaging of my songs. Its a great way to make sound bigger and more clear. I also really agree with the description of delays in this video. They can be so versatile!
Just noticed you guys had a really great opportunity for a lot of people out in the music Industry, That's what's up and keep up the great work. I'd say my favorite audio technique that everyone needs to know about is COMPRESSION. I say this is my favorite because you always need stuff that needs to be HEARD! There's always gonna be lyrics that are deeper and more meaningful than some other lyrics that you had created. My second favorite would then be Saturation. Then the last I'm going to list is VOLUME. Without volume control and everything flowing properly together you can't have a masterpiece. Other than that there's lot's that goes into music. I'm really hoping to win those headphones because I need to up the performance on my streams and videos on RUclips & Twitch! Much love for all the supporters out there ya'll the real MVPS!
Nice video, my favorite process is saturation because it allows to optimize the amount of compression and eq. I would love a video about the real recommended loudness and indicators values (LUFs & True Peaks) to maximize the final loudness and best reproduction quality in music platforms. Thank you !!
💭 I would like to add something that has taught me a lot about audio in general. 🛠️ 👉 Eventually it is good to listen to the track in MONO. You should never forget where the music usually sounds in the last instance. 📻📱 💎 Very clear and complete information. Thank you! 👏👏
I think I like reverbs and delays the most because they can be applied in the most creative way. On place two and three would be saturation and volume. First time I used a saturator on a voice I was like whaaaat. But to be honest I lind of love all the topics in the video. Just bought my new favorite eq plugin Claro (am I allowed to put this here? It's just such well thought out equaliser to help better understand these processes for a rookie like me 😁).
How do you all community, balance the distribution of sounds between different frequencies? Do you perform that on the production side of the creative process or enhance it on the mixing side of it? Thanks! 🔥😊

Delay and reverb.

🎶
I like the tip on finding your right EQ, by moving it around
Keeping it simple is the key for my songs to sound clear and fresh! Stereo imaging works perfect! 🔥
Love that! 🔥
the stage of adding delay & reverb is exactly where the song starts banging 😤 i also make sure i eq my reverb so my vocals can cut through the mix 💯
🤩
Stereo Imaging and Volume are my favorites because if done right, already gives a sense of direction and heirachy to the project and makes every other thing easier
Thank you I like the tip of compression

Reverb & Delay are my go to but, volume... is also very important and the key to Find that sweet spot for even instrumental or vox.
All these tricks are pure gold! Thanks for sharing it in one single short and simple reference video! 🙏
👑
Using delay in time with the music..always works😁
Compression is such a wonderful tip
Thanks for the tips. I really liked the saturation part because I didn’t know about the existing of it 😅. Good video thanks for sharing.
I love saturation! It has such a great way of adding depth and excellent to sounds. A great tool that o need to use more.
☝
Great Video. Reverb and Delay explained well.

Stereo Imaging number 5 is my favorite.
I like to use all of them!! Obviously, depending on what kind of music I am working on! But all of them are very useful!
Great tips, I would love for you to have gone slightly deeper with the stereo field information, especially with panning. thanks for your time in making this video
