You guys do quality work! It's hard to find shops like this anymore. Almost makes me want to make the 6 hour trip to get my audio system upgraded lol. These Hondas have the worst audio systems I've ever heard from the factory.
Im not a professional installer but i love and enjoy installing audio as a hobby. Seeing all this incorrect installment bs that you and fernando have to fix, just blows my mind. I take pride in what i do no matter what it is and so should the installer who did this crap. Love your guys content. Keep up the great work.
I wish i could go to you guys for my audio stuff. The amount of time and effort you put into getting it done right almost makes me wanna drive cross country
Wow, after installing myself for 20 years, it's good to see People are still wanting amps in their cars. In the Netherlands this isn't done so much any more. Something i loved to do for a long time. I still have to do post delivery inspections on new cars, so Towing bars, wheels and accessories are some the things i have to do. Love seeing you guys doing this........
1st video of yours I watched. Your obsessive attention to detail (even on a basic install like this) makes my OCD soul all warm and fuzzy inside. I. Am. SUBSCRIBED. Srsly, outstanding stuff. Thanx.
J Hodge lol was probably the 4 people who were responsible for the initial ghetto installation. Sad there are so many car audio shops throughout 🇺🇸 who are thriving from ripping customers off by charging too much & the worst part is they do not even do the install properly. Most cut corners in order to get install finished as quickly as possible.
I like buying older used cars and I’ve seen how audio shops do wiring and installs. Man I gotta say I agree with you 100 percent on doing a better job. I’m a diesel technician and have been a “diagnostic tech” for a few years now. I get hell at work cause how much pride I take in my wiring work on a truck that doesn’t belong to me. I’ve since started learning how to do car audio in all my cars and same situation, I may go a little over board on my wiring.
Love these videos. I'm gonna have to rewire my '04 Honda Accord. It was my first install but I've learned and I enjoy doing the work. Time to get my set-up this NEAT !!!
Love the wiring. You mentioned bending an "S" for the RCA connections but it was barely heard. The "S" can also be used on every connection allowing enough wire to be re stripped. Back in the earl 80's I made harnesses for Commercial Aircraft. All wire terminations that weren't soldered were made with ring type terminals. I had to leave enough slack to re lug the wire three times for servicing. I was the lead electrician and had to hire people that cared to do stuff to procedure. The way you explain things was deja vu. It was hard to find great people. I would of hired you and Fernando. Wiring is art, to bad people think it should be hidden.
Any idea if those t harnesses are still available anywhere? Seem to be discontinued for the 2016+ Hondas. Hell, even a wiring diagram and a listing of connectors would be awesome, to make my own.
Hi dean and Fernando I have been watching your videos on you tube for a while I am empress about how detailed both of you explained how to install car audio system for diy person keep up the good work both of you are doing to bad you don’t have a shop in Orlando we don’t have to many knowledgeable audio installer and trusted ones
You mentioned don't do a crappy job. They probably did that so they can pay you to fix it. Hehe! Also love how Fernando did the power and ground from the battery. i did the same with my Honda CRV's ground but instead of 0 gauge, I have 4 gauge. And I mounted my fuse to that same style bracket on the positive wire. It is not as nice as his bracket cause I don't have the tools to make it clean but made it similar with just plastic and a dremel.
I agree with do a good job because we do spend a lot of money 💰 on getting things installed only to have crappie work. I enjoy watching your videos on how to do things the right way
i have this same car man i wish you guys were in my city. the people around here would do the same job you are fixing. I would try myself but havnt installed a system in a newer car. I have installed a lot of equipment in my life over the last 20 years, but these new cars are to tricky for me. not to mention messing around in a 35k car. not for me anymore. love the channel bros keep up the good work.
Hahah I ran 4 1/0 OFC wire threw the plastic trim I took out all the seats and center console and carpet. It was bare metal and I laid them separate from each but I did have my air lines for my bags and 2 1/0 Wire threw the plastic
@ 24:00 why didn’t you show us what you connected this speaker wires to? Are there some rca to wire connections we can purchase or did you salvage some?
I have a 2017 Honda Accord. I just installed a set of l7s 2 oh 12in in factory box with a kicker cx 1800.1 with kicker pkd1 0 gauge to my factory head unit with a kicker kisl. Amp is set to except dc voltage with high level input switch set on high. Gain matched to 60v crossover 80 hz ..The problem I am is I am getting little to no bass install is clean but I can crank it all when way up and get nothing is it my kicker kisl aka cut RCA wire
I've had 5 1/4" Alpine Type X components in the front doors before. They were the earlier ken with the ring radiators. Loved them. Amazing crossovers and sound quality. But without a sub they'd be kind of terrible.
I was waiting for this after reverse polarity. Great episode btw. I suggested that topic and the example you used about door speakers on deck power was the exact answer I was looking for without even asking the question. I’ve been trying for a while to get a good answer about unhooking the tweeters and running some kicker cs coax.
Thank you for showing how to do it right! I think moving forward, shops should provide video recording of their work. Idk or else there wouldn’t be a way to know for sure if they did it right. You are paying them to do everything right the first time. Am I crazy for asking video recordings? Loo
Wow that install before you guys was horrible,I can't even imagine how much that customer got charged for that, You guys do Beautiful work I really enjoy your work 💪💪🎶👍Also you and Fernando work great together
Love your video . I have a 2021 honda accord sport T . I am gonna try to install component speakers and amp in myself , have done it in the past but this is different . Can't change the radio is game changer . My question to you is do I need that T harness for my car ? I've tried looking for that T harness and can't find it for my car . If not any suggestions on how to run the speaker wires from factory radio to speakers and amp ? (speakers are Kenwood Excelon Reference XR-1701P and amp is JL audio JD400/4)
I really like you 2 and I am seriously thinking of having u guys do my install...I live in ohio but might be able to tell the wife it's a little vacation when really I'll have you guys do my front stage...
Dean and Fernando question my speed vehicle compensation seems to be messing with how hard my amp and subs hit over 60 mph and it's hits hard and stays hitting hard till I slow back down sounds amazing till I slow down and the bass gets quieter too running an lc2i loc
I hope Dean and Fernando gets to do a 100% full installation of a 2012-2014 toyota camry v6 xle and they do a sony rsx gs90, and Amps, fast rings , components, and sub woofer.
By the way, that's a lot of work. I've done a few minimal installs. I know it's not easy. You must charge a fortune. I could never afford having someone else do it!
Hey man maybe you help after installing a after market headunit (kenwood) with after market rear and front speakers , no subs no amps, my soeakers sound terrible worst than before, coukdnt even turn up without distortion, so i got a 4 channel amp to power those speakers and my front speakers are so quiet compared to the rear, its bad enoughy i have to turn the head unit volume damm near to 30 just to get some loadness cant harley hear anything at 15, but why is my front speakers so low
Wow man, you guys are meticulous and your work looks fantastic! Not sure who the bonehead crew was that did that previous install, but as you said, they need to seek out another line of work. I was wondering if I could get some advice from you guys. I have a 2015 crosstour EX with the lousy Honda factory system in it. I already have Polk audio speakers in the doors and am now looking at an amp. Think I’m going with the audio control D-5.1300. Any advice or recommendations you might provide are greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance…
I need help I just got me a 2013 Chevy Tahoe LTZ, it's has a bose system, with rear entertainment for kids in the top liner. I am going to take out my Pioneer AVH-490BS out of my other car for the Tahoe. This Tahoe has navigation. Can you guys link everything I need I really don't care about the navigation just a steering control and the rear entertainment. Thanks 😊 forgot to mention am putting two Amp a subwoofer and a 4 channel Amp.
I have basically the same car that I had a bunch of stuff installed and it sounds horrible. Rattles are everywhere even though it was supposedly sound deadened. I wish these guys were closer to me I’d love to have them do a 911 on mine.
Wow, I do car install and even I've never seen anything this reckless . Did they like playing with fate or somethin? But, what about a aftermarket head unit for the 2018+ Accord? Has that been done at all? @Five Star Car Stereo
Great video! Just one suggestion. After watching the install process, I was really looking forward to some sound clips of the system. We heard a description of the sound of the system but didn't really hear it for ourselves. I heard some guitar but what about other instruments or vocals? I know copyright is an issue. However, is there some good sound tracks that aren't copyright protected that you could use?
Love this channel. I have a question for everyone. Ok so most cars with sunroofs have those pressure vents in the rear corner panels near the trunk and bumper. Now im running 6.5ft3 enclosure with 2 sa15d4rev3 in a 2020 koa Optima special edition. Took my intire trunk. Those little vents vibrate so bad and is very annoying. Cant block them and you dont want to remove them as they are extremely important. Has anyone come up with a solution to slow the flow of air without blocking them but killing the vibrating flap noise. Thought about fiberglass batting of some sort or a mesh that allow air flow but very slow?
You guys do quality work! It's hard to find shops like this anymore. Almost makes me want to make the 6 hour trip to get my audio system upgraded lol. These Hondas have the worst audio systems I've ever heard from the factory.
I had a dream last night i came down and you hired me to be an installer for you. Needless to say i was highly disappointed when i woke up. Lol
Im not a professional installer but i love and enjoy installing audio as a hobby. Seeing all this incorrect installment bs that you and fernando have to fix, just blows my mind. I take pride in what i do no matter what it is and so should the installer who did this crap. Love your guys content. Keep up the great work.
im so happy to see a guy who actually cares and i agree with his anger and frustration at people who take advantage of customers
I wish i could go to you guys for my audio stuff. The amount of time and effort you put into getting it done right almost makes me wanna drive cross country
Wow, after installing myself for 20 years, it's good to see People are still wanting amps in their cars.

Yes, I watched each episode and watched them as one video. Thanks for doing this.
Right these guy are good N professional
1st video of yours I watched. Your obsessive attention to detail (even on a basic install like this) makes my OCD soul all warm and fuzzy inside. I. Am. SUBSCRIBED.
Srsly, outstanding stuff. Thanx.
With successful installers you might not be OCD when you start....but as years go by the OCD ratchets up and up...lol
I LOVE my Kicker IQ 1000.5 in my daily driver, paired with a set of QS 6.75"s running active. Simply astounding.
🙏🙏 BH b8,
I like the longer all-in-one Video, I know it isn't going to get every day content, but it's nice to have both options.
Four people disliked the video? Must have hurt someone's feelings, WTH. Great video guys, I love how you describe what you are doing?
J Hodge lol was probably the 4 people who were responsible for the initial ghetto installation. Sad there are so many car audio shops throughout 🇺🇸 who are thriving from ripping customers off by charging too much & the worst part is they do not even do the install properly. I love returning to see the same videos a few months apart.

An hour long video! 😵😁 Never thought I'd see this. Thanks. 👍👍
Can't wait for Dean and Fernando to do my install. They are very busy and hope to hear from them to see when they are available

Prematurely liking this.... I'll watch it later..bedtime for 3rd shift ...in 3-2-1-NOW!
Fernando knows how to live my bro
I wish you were closer to me... I've had this happen too many times to my trucks....you guys are the exception to the rule out here in car audio land.
I agree with do a good job because we do spend a lot of money 💰 on getting things installed only to have crappie work. I enjoy watching your videos on how to do things the right way
I live in the 33755 and when my money is right I'm all in with 5 Star

You guys are so dope when I get the funds I swear I’m coming to get my install done
Do it yourself save a lot of money 💰
Amp rack is a work of art.
Oldie but goodie. Remind me what year Accord this is. I just bought a 2017 a few months back and I'm wanting to upgrade my stereo.
I wish you guys were in Jersey. Great work
So I can finally binge watch the entire series in one sitting 🪑💪🏻🙏 😂🍿 🍿
@ 24:00 why didn’t you show us what you connected this speaker wires to? Are there some rca to wire connections we can purchase or did you salvage some?
22:20
Marking this. Need to do the exact same thing to my GMLAN10-10 from Axxess
So in the area where you installed the crossover mount did you just block access to the cabin air filter?
I have a 2017 Honda Accord. I just installed a set of l7s 2 oh 12in in factory box with a kicker cx 1800.1 with kicker pkd1 0 gauge to my factory head unit with a kicker kisl. Do you guys remember where you went through the firewall on this model? I can’t find a way through. Thanks.
@05:55....I laughed out loud during a Teams meeting...Thanks guys!!!!
How you like that Rockville sound deadening? What brand would you recommend if you want to sound deadening your car?
I've had 5 1/4" Alpine Type X components in the front doors before. They were the earlier ken with the ring radiators. Loved them. Amazing crossovers and sound quality. But without a sub they'd be kind of terrible.

Any alternatives for that harness? Looks like they discontinued this one....
Thanks great video, really enjoyed your attention to detail.
Wow that install before you guys was horrible,I can't even imagine how much that customer got charged for that, You guys do Beautiful work I really enjoy your work 💪💪🎶👍Also you and Fernando work great together
I appreciate how you focus on quality my good sir. Short cuts only add more effort and time.
How do you pass the power cable from 𝑩𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒚 to amplifier?
what was the Sub setup??.. was kinda hoping to see the sub install as well
10in Kicker L7 in a ported box or do you mean specs?
Is there a wire harness for a 2021 accord touring? The factory system has a 10 channel amp and want to add a subwoofer amp with 2 x 12 JL audio w3
What did u end up putting. I have a 18 accord and I have 2 solox
Simply awesome 911...tamales n coffee, can't get better than that
Hi....PLEASE do complete system in 2017 Accord that allows customer to keep control over upper screen. Thanks
Don't you get the popping noise when you use the hi input to turn on the amp?
These and car lab are my favorite videos👍🏻
Why didnt u use the big fuse by the amp like u had to on the other accord? Nvr saw u put it in while u were wiring up the amplifier.
I really like you 2 and I am seriously thinking of having u guys do my install...I live in ohio but might be able to tell the wife it's a little vacation when really I'll have you guys do my front stage...
@58:08 couldn't you just get normal traditional speakerwire and split the two apart and accomplish the same thing and have true "speakerwire"?
Dean and Fernando question my speed vehicle compensation seems to be messing with how hard my amp and subs hit over 60 mph and it's hits hard and stays hitting hard till I slow back down sounds amazing till I slow down and the bass gets quieter too running an lc2i loc

Can you please mesaage me about the wires out of the factory amp. I need to add a amp dsp and then install
By the way, that's a lot of work. I've done a few minimal installs. I know it's not easy. You must charge a fortune. I could never afford having someone else do it!
Nice looking set up. Great details for sure
What Did use to keep it playing from stock radio monitor????
How much do something like this cost to put in if you have all the parts just labor .
I have a question. How come I never see you guys use a Capacitor?
Do you have a vidoe where we hear the sound for this vehicle thanks. Great video
Great work as always, but with that amp I wonder why you wouldn't run full active on those front components.
What battery size would u recommend for this set up AH and CCA
So I am assuming that the speaker side of the T harness get connected to speaker terminals of the amplifier?
I need help I just got me a 2013 Chevy Tahoe LTZ, it's has a bose system, with rear entertainment for kids in the top liner. How much did you charge for this install/repair job
I have basically the same car that I had a bunch of stuff installed and it sounds horrible. Rattles are everywhere even though it was supposedly sound deadened. I wish these guys were closer to me I’d love to have them do a 911 on mine.
What was the reason for not going full active on the front components?
No molex connectors in the doors then?
Love these series
Hi i using morel maximo ultra mk2 is it good components speakers
Looks like the customer, had an installation done at . Tijuana. 😉
Hey man this is a very professional job I would love to know your location and the price for getting this done
How Long did this take to complete and how much did this cost.
How much does this kind of install cost? Subtracting material costs.
@coltsman93 I'm wondering the same thing.
Since you kept the factory radio what module did you plug the rca's to?
I really love watching your show and i really wish i could get a 911 from you guys
Hey guys, can you do video on making templates, with all the programs you use and the laser machine.
Wow, I do car install and even I've never seen anything this reckless . Did they like playing with fate or somethin? But, what about a aftermarket head unit for the 2018+ Accord? Has that been done at all? @Five Star Car Stereo
Great job as usual guy's 👍🏾
Do you have any videos doing a Chevy imapala 2014 to 2020
101% perfect work 👍
Hey quick question have 17 accord sport se do they make aftermarket radio harness for car if yes can you provide part number
What was the mid bass HP frequency, was is higher due to the midst hitting a low end wall?
Great video! Just one suggestion. After watching the install process, I was really looking forward to some sound clips of the system. We heard a description of the sound of the system but didn't really hear it for ourselves. I heard some guitar but what about other instruments or vocals? I know copyright is an issue. However, is there some good sound tracks that aren't copyright protected that you could use?
The way the harness was modified can it be used on 2020 Accord Touring?
what do you do with the speaker wires to the stock speakers? just push them aside and run new wires?
You can tape them to other harness runs nearby so they are out of the way. That way you can get factory setup back together if ever necessary.
Love your channel. Really nice.
Has anyone come up with a solution to slow the flow of air without blocking them but killing the vibrating flap noise. Thought about fiberglass batting of some sort or a mesh that allow air flow but very slow?
What about securing the flaps partially open? Would that leave any water or anything in?
59:03 "All the way, Not Just the tip"
Those morel speakers are beautiful 💯
11:35 preach brotha nothing worse than redoing something because someone else didn't just do it right the first time
