John saying "Two bald fat losers in their mom's basement" was directed to Royce and Mersh from The Revenge of the Cis show. They beefed with mr. melendez before watp did. They did a bit called british stuttering john which was very funny. Shuli is pretty late to the stuttering john game compared to everyone else, and yet still made it his shtick, and doesn't even bother to learn the history or properly credit others.

I'm genuinely amazed that people could actually work in the industry and be Fanatics of something like the Howard Stern Show which heavily predicated its success on the show's ratings, and not know that the ratings metrics are basically Voodoo science in the sense that they have no idea whose radios tune to what, they base it off of people who've been selected to write down what they're listening to on the radio periodically throughout the day, marking down when they change, they would literally do it in those quarter hour intervals in order to basically make those Goofy formats that all these radio stations would go by. The reality is is that that's all just advertisers. Basically if you get high ratings then you can sell ads on your show for a lot higher than if the shows doesn't get high ratings then bad values pretty low. People made their livings based on that ad Revenue. When you know that, you'll realize that does not that big of a difference between the way that it was back then
