I just found this song, it’s great. A lot people can relate to it as well. It’s been almost a year through my most painful break up, and I reflect I miss her immensely. Knowing we definitely may not ever talk again, but it made me into a stronger and better person all around, in a weird way I’m thankful for that. Best advice I can give anyone going through the pain of a break up , go off the radar work hard spend time with family and friends and be genuine about everything you do in life, it all works out.

I looked up and saw his dorm. I remember feeling euphoric. He just broke my heart. This song is so conflicting because it reminds me of then but it's about now.

It's really generic song writing especially compared to some of their older material. The lyrics aren't very good and the musicianship has declined a ton. Listen to some of the old guitar parts compared to now. Since Ungrateful the playing has been way more in the background closer to a pop music style and many of the fans liked the more metal or post-hardcore style the band had.

This song came along at the very right moment for me. If you ever wonder if your band has made a difference, it saved this mans life. My ex wife was manipulating, sexually abusive, and cheated on me within a season of our wedding. I thought the best I could do was her. This song came on the radio while I wrote a suicide note to my family and friends. I left her weeks later. I know have an amazing step daughter, bio daughter, and wife who loves and respects me like I never thought I deserved. Thank you ETF
