Yes, he's a campy 2000s superhero movie villain, but, damn if Matt isn't relishing in playing the part.

Matt Smith was easily the best part of the movie for me. The Doctor Who Reference really made me smile.
“Do I look like a Doctor to you?”
There was also a reference to The Crown as the prison guard calls him “your highness”
So that's who Matt Smith plays! Always wondered who he was playing in the movie when I saw him in the trailer.
It's not lol they used a character who dies in the comics and gave him hungers powers creating a new villain, this was clearly filmed before the movie came out lol
Matt smith was probably the best part of the movie for me in my opinion.
Not only did I learn the history of Loxias Crown, but this video also introduced me to a new hero - S.H.O.C. Regarding Matt Smith’s role in the movie, it’s easy to see that he had lots of fun with it.

I just finished watching morbius. I had no idea Matt Smith was going to play hunger. I knew he was going to become a villain but I thought Sony was just going to make their own vampire.
They kinda did, Matt is a mix between a few different characters, they took Milo from the comics and turned him into Hunger lol
Matt Smith was almost enough to make this movie entertaining and worth it.
I’m highly impressed with that man’s acting skills and charisma. I almost wanted him to beat Jared Leto’s bland, joyless version, as I’d love to see a universe where Matt Smith and Tom Hardy’s characters interact…

Honestly I thought Leto did really good in this movie. All the intricacies of his character with slight details were very good.
Jared Leto isn't a bad actor. It's like with suicide squad, a bad director and script writer is also in play. You just wanna hop on the leto hate train because you can't create your own opinion

I saw Morbius this past weekend. Testament of whether or not it is a good superhero movie is whether you would view it again. Though movie was okay, it would not view it a 2nd time.
Well Matt's character isn't really Hunger, but a few different characters mixed together...
I imagine this was filmed long before the movie came out... the character is an amalgamation of several different people. His name is Lucien (not Loxias), although everyone called him Milo (a name Morbius called him when they were children) and it looked like he had some sort of ties to the mob but that isnt explored in the movie.

Watched the film today thought matt Smith nailed the character, what I also thought was interesting was seemingly how polite his character seemed to act and whether that was supposed be part of his characters act (pretending to be a good person) or whether it was supposed to be the idea of how he was a good guy corrupted and morally skewed by his vampiric side.
He should have played carnage in Venom 2.📢
@@kmitchell3345 gonna be honest before film came out thought woody Harrison wouldn't do the character justice saw the film and complete 180 and while there's no denying matt Smith is an incredible actor I don't think he would of done the character of kletus Cassidy quite as well as what was done.

This seems like a convoluted origin story, 'cuz the only origin it's presenting is this character named SHOC. The rest is just "oh and Crown got bit by Morbius, that's how he turned into Hunger". There's some backstory missing here lol

All these channels are really stretching to connect the milo character to the comics when it’s pretty obvious he was made for the movie

Why didn't they Use The Morbius film to inform us that Vampires exist in the mcu? The film need to be longer.
There should of been a scene where Morbius seeks knowledge on Vampires and if there's a way they can avoid feeding on human blood. Would of been perfect way to differ Morbius from Vampires HE is a living Vampire. Not supernatural or turned. Blade could if been in a scene. Again a potentially good Film ruined when it could of been so good.
