This is my gear review of the Intex Excursion Pro K2 2-person inflatable kayak that we bought just over a year ago. We liked it so much that we actually bought a second very soon after the first.

A have the k2 excursuon for almost a year vith acomplished around 30-40 trips and the same number of inflations/deflations. Completly satisfied, no issues, very stiff and rigid enough, also very stable and comfortable for two person and gear. Also, good portale bag, quick inflation/deflation time, quick drying. Overall great value for money.
Thanks for the feedback! Glad to hear someone else with similar experiences and satisfaction.
Good entry level kayak. Thanks for sharing.
I completely agree! Thanks for watching!
Nice job on the review. Looks like a solid piece of equipment.
Awesome. I have just bought one and I’m looking forward to taking it out.
That's great! Please let me know how you like it after...
This is a great review Thank you , I think I’ll buy one, subscribed
Thanks for watching and the sub! I really appreciate it! Please let me know what you think after you get one!
Great review. I got mine in 2021 and enjoy it very much. I found the hand pump very tiring to use, especially on a hot day, so got an electric pump that inflates/deflates in a flash when connected to my car ignition.
Great review buddy. Looks like a solid kayak. I like how you can pack it down when your going camping. That is where I would use it if I had one too!
Thank you! 👍. I completely agree! I realize it isn’t a Swiss Army Knife of kayaks that will work for everyone or every situation, but I see this as an excellent option for someone with limited space, like living in an apartment or condo, who still loves the outdoors and wants to kayak. I just had another friend tell me they bought one last week, so that makes several friends now that have bought one in the past three months.
@@TNOutdoorsFanatic I agree! That would make sense too as far as apt or condo living. Thanks for sharing it!
Great review!
Thanks bud!
Great review pal! I need to get a couple ordered myself to stow in the camper.
Let me know when you get them, and we will plan a little outing!
Tennessee life looks FUN!!
Sure is brother! You should come down and check it out! 😁
Man glad you decided to do a review on this, I actually was looking at them last week lol.. My concern was on a bunch of the Amazon reviews they talked about how the seams in the seats would go bad very easily. Have you had any issues with yours? Really that’s the only reason why I didn’t pick one up but I didn’t realize the seats were removable so that changes everything. I think if I was to get one I would just buy the 2 person because it holds a lot more weight then if I ever had a seam on the seat go bad then I could just use the other one. Great review brother now you got me reconsidering them👍😉
Yeah I'm 221 so if I need this one ill need the 2 seater😂 I just want a Inflatable fishing kyak😂
We haven’t had any issues with the seats leaking, but honestly that would be the first upgrade I would make. I have seen some videos of guys adding stadium seats to theirs, and that would probably be what I do. The Aquaglide kayaks a look fantastic and will carry more weight, but man are they pricey!
Awesome kayak as I just got mine yesterday and tried it today. Tracks pretty well with the large skeg. Plus for me is in it's bag it fits on my motorcycle as long as I remove my top case.
Fantastic! Would love to see a photo of how you transport on your motorcycle!
God informational video for potential buyers! Would you trust the rod holders for trolling on small inland lakes?
@@michaelkue9449 thanks for watching! Personally, I wouldn’t use them for trolling. They are basically just plastic holder glued onto the shell of the kayak bladder.
Thank you. This helped me make my decision.
Awesome! Glad to hear it, and thanks for the feedback!
Thanks so much for your review. I’m thinking of getting one, but one drawback I’ve read is the flimsy kayak blade. Any thoughts on that? Cheers!
@@mikeu5380 thanks for watching and commenting! All plastic components are relatively cheap, but we haven’t had anything fail since we bought them.
lol still looks to be working great for you guys 👍🤔🤫😊
It is, and the kids are really enjoying it.
It comes with a wrench. Can that be used to tighten or remove the inflate nozzles?
The wrench is used to help with people who can’t grip the valves or valve covers with their fingers. Personally, my fingers are thin and have good dexterity, as are my kids, so we haven’t had to use the wrench so far.
Does it come with the boosters for the seats?
Great question! Yes, it does come with boosters for the seats, and they definitely help. I have found a couple of other videos on RUclips though where some folks have made modifications to allow them to install like a bleacher seat for more comfort.
I just got one delivered today. I have seen lots of modification videos. I can't wait to customize mine.
@RockHavenFarm awesome! Please let me know how you like the modifications! Enjoy!
Do you think i would be able to fish with my friend in one if these? You said you only fish in it one at a time, we thought of buying one, do you recommend this kayak for us if we want to fish together?
My son and I have both fished out of this kayak before. It is pretty tight though. We are both around 5'-8" and each weight around 165 lbs. The kayak floats and paddles just fine with both of us in it, but there is limited space for fishing gear and rods with us in it. If my daughter and I go in it, then there is more room since she is much smaller. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching and commenting! Happy fishing!
@@TNOutdoorsFanaticwhat about wife + toddler???
@@tehgusbus2716 this is strictly a 2-person inflatable kayak. I wouldn’t try to get a third person, even a toddler, because there really isn’t enough room.
Are these kayaks ok for ocean use, and riding waves?
@@warrenrichter574 I am unable to answer that since my use was only on area lakes with small waves. Personally, I wouldn’t use one in the ocean.
😀
