The way I see it is, the BMW held his inside line going into turn two and the Mustang turned down into the Bmw before the Mustang & driver had safely completed their pass. Its not like the Mustang had cleanly completed the pass already and the BMW driver just deliberately fired it into the side of the Mustang. No where have I seen that if a passing car is ?? inches or ?? mm ahead, that the other car has to jump on the brakes and totally yield the position and in that video, not once did you see the tail lights of the Mustang. The onus on a clean pass is always on the passing vehicle and I have seen two cars side by side safely make it all the way through corner 2 at Mosport (CTMSP) before but feel free to correct me where I am wrong.
Looks to me the Mustang is at fault. It looks like your car was already as inside as you could go and the Mustang cuts to the inside when he should have stayed a bit wide and given enough room.
The mustang was in front of other car going into corner which gives him right of way. Onboard driver needed to allow for pass but didn’t. The car in front is not at fault unless it is blatant driver negligence. It appears if onboard just slowed a bit to give pass to mustang this would have been avoided
@@rwbnatureadventure3876I think it maybe a close call. The BMW overbraked before the crash, but you can see that the BMW is around half way of the Mustang. Note that the mustang's front wheel never exceeded the bmw's rear view mirror until the BMW started braking so it gives you some reference... I think it's hard to decide from the video alone
