I had a great Pyrenees it looked like the gremlins movie when gizmo got wet. She left tumble weeds of hair in balls bigger than that everywhere every day.
I have 3 Bassets and I'm also a clean freak. It's soooo worth it though😅💗

I recommend using a spray, waterless shampoo or dog perfume while brushing them too. It’ll make them smell good!

I have 2 bassets and they shed A LOT. however, sweeping every few days and a good deshedding tool will go a very long way.

Oh yeah, Bassets shed. We often had a pair, so twice the fur on things. They are worth it, a small price to pay for such a great dog.
