I like the Flats that you stayed in. The people in Vorkuta are obviously very strong and hearty Russians. Lisa the Russian is the best tour guide....🥰😍❤
I love the first Apartment. Its cool! I think the sofa looks art deco 1940s- I wonder if some place was still manufacturing them the same way in more modern times. The colors and style reminds me of the 80s - early 90s - when there was kind of an art deco post modern style.
They probably still do. Russia seems to be a very retro place. They even have factories that still make electron tubes (valves), which musicians and audiophiles like to use in their amps.
Vorkuta city is an interesting place to look around and the size of apartment are pretty reasonable, at the same time it could do with some modern upgrades. Cheers for that🇷🇺 Russian princess.👍

❤ Hello from Scotland Thanks for letting us see where you had been staying…that flat’s missing balcony maybe they all been condemned soon after as unsafe maybe the concrete and/or steel beams had rotten and not worth the high cost of replacement. That area really needs a major investment maybe a joint private sector with government funding to revitalise it, and hopefully bring more employment to the region to attract further money & development. Good luck and it appears the new flat is nicer looking, and at least you can pee & wash at the exact sane time. 😂
Beautiful ‘grafitti’ and interesting emergency exit.. you can grab everything out of the fridge and belay to safety. Prices and everything that could happen with climate, industry, etc makes it very attractive for a base.. especially if away a lot.
That apartment is so cute. I love the colors. I have a question who controls the heating in the apartment? Does the radiator not have an individual thermostat? ❤❤❤
@@lisa_with_love In Canada, I used to live in a steam heated apartment where the building's only thermostat was in the main hallway beside the mailboxes. The only control I had was the unreliable valves on the radiators. So. I had to resort to opening the windows when it was too hot inside. We have screens on our windows, so bugs aren't a problem. Now I live in an electrically heated apartment with a thermostat I can turn off when I don't want heat. My problem now is the mailboxes in my building have been vandalized to the point where they no longer deliver the mail, and I have to go to the mail sorting depot to pick it up.
