Missed Mike Renner's blend of great analytics and blunt humor of NFL facts. Good to see him back as a guest. Was hoping for another Dominick Puni name drop haha.
Corporate Renner, hilarious...hasn't been late since he cut his hair...just great busting. All three of you guys are very enjoyable, thanks. You must know that you will all go down in fame, as much as ESPN NFL Countdown with Berman and Jackson.
Good show always appreciate Renner. Appreciate context also, Alex Smith had 4 OCs in as many years. That doesn’t give even a glimpse of as to how sad of an offense that team was putting together. He goes to a notoriously good Offensive coach in Reid and is magically good. It doesn’t take much to understand how it all works but like the shouty shows I lit to throughout names with no context, Steve.
All three of you were low on BTJ, having him outside your top 5 but... Chris Simms had him WR #2 before the draft, analyzing his skillset and situational awareness, not just college "production".
Both offense and defense, players have been retained and added, based in significant part on the dual role capability. By dual role I mean, on defense run/pass defense skills and on offense the same. This dual role, allows for an exponential expansion of the playbook AND promotes delay and confusion/mistakes on both sides of the ball, both delays and mistakes are lethal in the NFL.
Smartest move from you two was leaving Pff because everyone that has with Austin, Mike, Brad, Eric You two will blow up and sponsors from PrizePicks is only the beginning just watch you. Keep up the good work
The game speed difference from College to the NFL is jarring. All these QBs are sped up. They need reps. Some will figure it out and catch up and some will develop bad habits and won't. There's no such thing as a sure thing at any position really. Definitely not at Quarterback
I disagree with the Giants over the Ravens as teams to worry about most. You can be worried about the job security of the people in charge in NY, but did anyone outside of the Giants fanbase actually believe they would be good this year? Meanwhile the Ravens, as you pointed out, are 0-2 and have yet to answer their three biggest questions heading into the season. Full disclosure: I’m a Browns fan. But I feel like I’m being objective here. You’re choosing a team that looked doomed from the start over the former AFC North division winner that lost some key personnel, both on & off the field and, is now 0-2, and still hasn’t answered any of their three big question marks/concerns.
I've had the same thought as Mike. Who the hell is actually watching these horrendous shouty shows? How bad off does your mental health have to be to sit down on the couch and think ah time to listen to people yelling ridiculous things about sports. Seek help. Do better.
I'm finding the discourse about Kirk very strange. He looks like Kirk Cousins. Can't move well? Not an amazing arm? You're literally just describing Kirk Cousins. He's not going to step into a new team with new coaches and players abd look like the complete well oiled machine that knows every single thing about the playbook and WR tendencies. It sort of feels like people just want to dislike him? Like if you've already decided he's old and bad and overpaid then you're going to make whatever you see fit that narrative.
How can people act like sitting would have definitely made Bryce better this year? That's not going to change that he's tiny, slow, has a weak arm and can't see the field well enough to overcome those physical limitations against NFL defenses. Maybe he looks worse this year because NFL teams got 16 games of tape against him from last year to game plan and not because he played last year.
Renner literally said that it wouldnt have made him worse/get bad habits. Yes hes small for NFL starting QBs but Baker Mayfield is only 2 inches ( 5 10 to 6 0 ) taller an he is playing really well.
Renner is in a class all by himself as an analyst. Would love to see him regularly
Thanks to Mike Renner for joining the show!
Steve tell PFF to get rid of Dalton
Good seeing the old crew back together
Renner is a legend
They gotta get renner on once a week
Such a pleasure to see Renner back with the boys, will always miss the Gayle/Renner and Steve and Sam combo. Absolute studs!
Tailgate with Renner and Austin was the best football podcast around and it wasn't even close
Definitely my favorite football duo. Miss those guys.
Great to see Mike and glad he’s doing well. Hope to see the late Austin Gale too!
Keep the shouty shows on their heels and bringing Renner back!

Great show, I love it when Mike joins you guys.
So happy to see the ghost of former friend Mike Renee. Thriving.
I didn't know the guy from The Bachelorette was into football! :0
Y’all gotta make this PFF 🐐’s reunion a regular thing! 🔥💯
Regular Renner showings would be huge
It's a PFF alumni reunion show. 😊
Please have Mike on every week!

Maybe one of my favorite episodes
Rip Renner
Maxx Crosby has alllllll the ginger power

this podcast is like a medium table, all those departed souls talking among themselves (about football)

I need you guys to go in on the GMFB “people”
The whole bit about everyone who’s left PFF being “the late great” this means Steve and Sam are also late and great now. Rest in peace Steve and Sam

You two will blow up and sponsors from PrizePicks is only the beginning just watch you. Keep up the good work
The main reason so many of them start is because sitting on the bench you are losing value on the rookie QB contract
As a panthers fan I just want to be put into a comma and wake up in 10 years 😪
Crazy that pff got rid of all their good hosts
Jaden Daniels looks awesome! Not sure what your looking at! LOL
Simms was actually right saying Nabers and B.thomas were the two best WR's

imo philly is trying to be modest in how much they use the tush push so it doesn’t get permanently outlawed
It may seem like Renner has hit the big time but he's still got to work in a fucking cubicle haha
Yea name bias definitely the case for a name such as Brock Bowers 💯

Why does Renner look like he's in a high school
I've had the same thought as Mike. Who the hell is actually watching these horrendous shouty shows? How bad off does your mental health have to be to sit down on the couch and think ah time to listen to people yelling ridiculous things about sports. Seek help. Do better.
I watch them for a laugh sometimes.
Epic
Commenting to boost the algorithm or whatever
Let's gooo
Letsgoooooo
Renner looks like someone is about to walk up and offer him a choice between two different colored pills
Not fair to rate leggette with how bad Bryce is

His arm is not the same as it was pre-injury
Which, to be clear, is likely lower-body related rather than his 'arm' itself being less strong.
So far he hasnt looked like he looked at Minnesota. Its okay to point that out.
Bryce Young is just scared to throw. Should've known when the leading WR for reception, rec td, and yards IS? A Running Back...

I miss Renner and Austin badly tbh
