The Broken Windows Theory says that this will make a difference not only for Frank, but for the entire neighborhood as well. Any neighbor with even an ounce of pride will see this and think, "Gee, maybe I oughtta clean up my yard, too!"

You must have never lived in a community with mostly black people. They don’t care about what the neighborhood looks like. If you have a nice looking yard/house, then your property value rises which increases your property taxes.

That's the first time I've ever seen that. I was so excited he was helping out and doing what he could.
I completely know the feeling. Having suffered an injury at work I sometimes feel overwhelmed but when people are around I can really feel a whole lot more energy and light at the end - even if its just a little - of the tunnel.

I like how Mr. Frank watched how to do the steps and wanted to learn how to do them. He may learn how to replace his deck and install a new back door. Maybe a front yard garden of flowers. He obviously wants to grow some plants.
Imagine telling this guy that he doesn't respect other people while he is literally mowing someone else's property, and paying for lumber on his own, to fix another person's stairs. Bizarre.

My favorite part is when Mr. Frank comes home from work and thanks you and actually helps you, then comes out to support you when the jerk is yelling.

Hey y'all, no judgement. We don't know the circumstances. And as for helping Sean, lots of people are afraid of getting in the way. Especially if they re not familiar with the work. They start with cleaning the pavement, then cutting the overgrowth, cleaning up an overwhelmingly large garden, and now about (again) to rebuild an annex, for an old couple who are more or less imprisoned in their own property.

I'm a devoted fan of Flawless cleaning myself! I submited a nomination for them for the Pride of Britain Awards and, if you watched past Friday show, they made it to the finals! Ben also was aknowledged by the Mayor of his town! For the first time I'll be watching the POB awards ceremony. Glad to know you know about Ben, Paul and Co.! If anyone knows anything about bringing recognition to Sean's selfless, hard community oriented work at the government level, please let us know!

Can I tell you something, it used to be, people used to help each other. When a neighbor became unable to take care of their own yard they had plenty of family and friends who would come help and the neighbors would mow for them and help them out. I remember very elderly people still puttering around in their yards and taking care of nice gardens. Now days young people do not take care of their own people let alone help a neighbor. It's really become a very different world than it use to be.

I pray that Trump wins not just for the USA and the world but for Michigan in particular. T he need the car factories back and all kinds of factories and jobs that pay high wages. Michigan needs help to save and restore all these old homes and repave and clean up everything. Shaun is so wonderful. My neighbor helped my mother by mowing her lawn front and back. There are people like Shaun but they just aren't on YT. If everyone cared like these people our streets would be so beautiful.

If you felt you needed to take the time to harass and threaten someone, then you're not busy enough. Better yet, why didn't you use the time to help your neighbor? Michigan is, for the most part, a really nice place with great people. I was born and raised here. A far larger majority of Michiganders are like Sean and are just trying to make their little portion of the world a better place. Sean makes me proud to say, "Yes, I'm from Michigan, and here we help each other." Thank you, Sean, for helping your community. Mr. Frank was so appreciative, and it was awesome the way he watched how you did the stairs. I bet he builds new ones on the back.

I'm simply amazed that the dumpster wasn't filled to the brim with stuff when it sat overnight. Anytime we had a dumpster delivered for our use the entire neighborhood thought we rented it for them. LOL! Wonderful job, I bet you sleep like a rock after such a HUGE job. Well done!

Haha, I rented a dumpster in my dad's neighborhood (similar looking neighborhood to this, but in Kansas City) for a big cleanup of his yard and sheds and thought the same thing. The driver that dropped off the dumpster even said "fill it up before your neighbors do." However, nobody put stuff in it, they actually just dug through it and took stuff out (mostly scrap metal, and scrap lumber).
@@BrianW211 I'm in Ireland and people would definitely fill that dumpster (we call it a "skip") up before you get a chance to put your own stuff in. All kinds of nasty funky mattresses that have been sitting in people's back gardens for God knows how long would end up in there🤢

It took a lot for Frank to ask a total stranger for help. I'm glad he did and that you not only did what he asked, but also a bit more to help him on his way. It was also encouraging to see him helping move debris making it easier for you to work and loading things into the dumpster. I already commented while watching this one yesterday about the stairs being replaced and the clearing on the back as well. I am 83 so I know how much Mr Frank appreciated all that you did. Iv'e watched a few others on this channel but you Sean go all the way, fixing the fences, gates, gutters and really trimming around the trees and doing an excellent job getting the fences clean and under control. Sean, you are a Hero times one billion, for the extreme care and concern for Mr. Frank, the next door neighbor and the community. The property transformation was outstanding. Mr. Frank and his family expressed their gratitude for helping. The hazardous steps, fallen trees, trash removal and restorations were greatly needed. This episode displayed a myriad of emotions and frustrations but Sean and the Mr. Frank remained calm and determined to not allow negativity to win. Fantastic and inspiring transformation.

People like yelly man are deeply distrustful with huge insecurities. It's too bad they feel entitled to tell others what they can or can't do to a man's house that isn't his, nor has an interest in.

Why can’t people just stop and say thank you for helping clean up the neighborhood. If only these angry Ken’s and Karen’s would look out and help their neighbor in need it might just make them feel better about themselves as well as making new friendships at the same time.

My heart goes out to Frank and his family, losing everything in a house fire and not having homeowners' insurance. My family and I have also had a house fire, but we were fortunate to have insurance to help us rebuild. Their sorrow runs deep, no doubt, and your support, no matter how small it may seem, is invaluable and more impactful than you may realize!
I like that Mr. Frank. He seemed sincere. He wanted to learn how to do and fix things. Too bad there’s not a program or something that could help teach some of these people how to do some basic repairs and basic fixes.

Sean, this has probably been one of my Top 10 favorite transformations. I love when you always go the extra mile; i.e., build stairs, nail fences, etc. The other thing I love is when the owner of the property REALLY shows his/her appreciation for what you have done. Wow I don’t even know where to start. Once again you have gone above and beyond. These videos are all about spreading love and positivity. The stairs are awesome. Cleaning up the tree, the garage, putting up a make shift fence from the wood that was there. All I can say is thank you for bringing so much joy to the people you help, and those of us who watch you. Bravo 👏🏻 👏🏻

When Frank started carrying the old steps across the street to the dumpster, I teared up. What a sweet, sweet man. Thankfully - even though it doesn't seem like it some days - there are more people like Frank in this world than there are morons who yell and cuss at you. Some people want to say something negative and if you don't respond the way they want, they try to force it with intimidation and threats.
