Standard round toilet can be had at Home Depot for around $140.00 (US). With the wax ring, let's say $150.00 all in. It really is a simple job to replace. First time it took me about an hour, and my skill level is total amateur. Assuming the whole Ramen things can work, you are still going to spend at least $50,00 (US) in materials and special shaping tools. I can't imagine spending less than 3 hours at a professional skill level to shape it to make it look at all nice.

As a man who bought his first home 6 years ago, and still living in it. I had to buy a new toilet in the master bath. Now I don't know the specifics of the issue, I just know, thanks to the drain hole size of my toilet, it added like a $200 PREMIUM to the price of the bowl. Thing cost me $500 for 1 toilet, where if I had a standard drain hole size that most modern homes use, would have been $300. Who knew toilets were expensive?

~~The Pringle can deal was in Handy Man yrs ago&OK. If it's at home, when you're done painting for the day/altogether. If you have to pour lil more paint out so can load the entire roller up really good then put it in bottom of little plastic grocery bag. If there's print make sure it's on the outside, you'll be able to pull it off the frame too w/minimal mess. Wrap it tight&2nd bag as well seal the lip w/masking tape where you write what it is too. Flat&Eggshell will keep about a year in the fridge crisper. Satin&Gloss 3-6mos.
~~2nd Tip; If you started w/5gal paint transfer what's left to gallon&quart cans. Want store w/as little excess air as possible. Gallon then quart obviously making sure the lids completely sealed then store on a shelf upside down. Moment you store it everything starts to settle&next time you need it'll be 100x easier to mix when everything will be on the top now.

Two reasons the ramen toilet did not work. 1) The reason they dumped them into the toilet like they did was they added water. This caused the ramen to stick to itself and removed a lot of the air voids. 2) They cheated. They cut away from when they are shaping the ramen to painting it. They were able to come close, but that shot of the final paint was them just painting an unbroken toilet.

I can’t remember which RUclipsr tested the ramen, but it works, until it gets wet.

Very funny video 😂. Normal people would just buy a new toilet. Life is too short 😂.

The top edge of the paper where you repaired the wall is still visible under the paint. behind the top of TV. The stand out with the LED highlight is Kind of a neat Idea.

I always call the ramen repair ones BS because, if you really think about it, none of it's going to work when it all gets wet. Like, let's say you've got a hole in the side of your car on the fender, and you patch it with ramen and spray it with spray paint. That ramen is going to get soft and moist when water starts soaking into the noodles, leaving you with the same hole you tried to repair with the ramen. The same goes for the toilet: if you try to repair it, the noodles will just get soggy because they're soaking up the water, and then you'll have water all over the floor because there won't be anything keeping it contained.

8:38 bosch offers a wall „radar“ (it’s technically more of an xray/sonar mix) that thing even finds everything - plastic tubes (and obviously cables, studs. Metal, etc) and empty spaces or even non magnetic stuff

You broke the toilet with a nice perfect hole the first time you hit it, that’s on you for continuing to hit it 😂

I am in South Africa, fixing drywall with paper works excellent with nutec 4mm high density fibre. Rhino booard which is thicker needs filler plus paper. After sand it flat.
