Argentspear it wasn't super saiyan 2 though, it was super saiyan grade 2 which has about the same strength increase as ssj2 but it lowers your speed and puts more stress on your body

It's amazing because Broly can go normal SSJ3 then LSSJ3. He has 2 versions of SSJ.
No he doesn't the yellow ssj which every other character can turn into is just a mutation. Lssj is the only true super Saiyan.

@@HelloRUclips89 Yeah Broly was never really elaborated on as far as his forms. Z broly does have ssj, but Lssj is a whole other deal. From what I remember the creator saying the form was inspired by Trunks' buff ultra super saiyan form.

Vegeta ( official canon) explains that every 1000 years there is a Sayain that is born with incredible power. This Sayain is refered to as the "Super Sayain" .
The Sayains never knew tough that it was a transformation. But as all of our Z Sayains could transform into a Super Sayain, it wasnt really a "legendary" transformation anymore.
It was something common and normal. The Sayains only refered to it as a Legendary form, because it was a Myth and not believed by the Sayains.
In the first Broly movie, the Lore of the Super Sayains was changed. Vegeta in this movie did another explanation wich is nom canon.
He explaines that every 1000 years a Sayain is born with unmatched power levels. This Sayain is called a "Legendary Sayain" as it is unique and rare. This Sayain can achieve the SS form just like any other Sayain. But they also have the ability to reach the Legendary Super Sayain form wich is something totally different from the base Sayain.
In the now official DBS canon, this form is simply called "Berserk"
A buffed up form of the Base Super Sayain, thar together with uncontrolled power fires up every Sayain Cell and supplys unlimited power to the user. DBS Broly is extremly strong because he was able to master the great apes ikari power in base form.
@@HelloRUclips89 Indeed, the regular yellow form he took in the 2nd Coming movie is referred to as C-Type Super Saiyan, essentially the equivalent of a regular Super Saiyan.
This is the same form that Kale achieved in the anime when she broke free from the orb barrier created by the pride troopers.
