@@KDoyle4 That’s exactly how AMC described it. It became a sub-series of the Javelin. You can call it anything you want, champ, but what I wrote is exactly correct.
@@sludge8506 The AMC AMX was built for only 3 years. AMC never called the AMX a Javelin. The AMC AMX shown in this video is a 1969 AMC AMX, and not marketed as a Javelin in any way. There was no "AMX model after 1970, but the AMX name was to be used as a 'trim level' on both Javelin (1971-1974), and the 1977 Hornet AMX .
The one I missed was the Brewster. The round grill had me thinking RR. And I would rather have the 55 Pontiac Safari being much more rare than the Chevy Nomads
I got all the American cars right except the Charger & the Barracuda. They are practically the same car anyway. The Plymouth came with a funky airfoil or spoiler as I remember, I didn't see one, so picked the Charger. I got most of the European stuff right, but that's not my thing anyway. I did pretty good! I owned or drove a lot of these old road barges in my day! I'd sure love to have that sweet little Nomad back! I loved that little beauty. Mine was a four-speed with overdrive
If you are going to show 1950s and 1960 and 70s american stick with all American cars and don't stick in cars from overseas. It detracts from the all American cars. 🤔
This one got Me!! lol. Was so many that I never saw or had a clue on. Was far before My time.
Love these video Quiz's
The AMC AMX may have been based on the Javelin, but I don't believe it was ever marketed as an "AMX Javelin".
AMX was a two seat car while a Javelin had a backseat.
1971 AMC Javelin AMX!! 👍
@@sludge8506 That's a different car.

15 out of 20 the very early car stumped me. Fun quiz though.

love the quiz, hate how slow it is, Speed it UP please! 17 correct. Don't know my pre WW2 cars very well.
I got 17 out of 20. I missed some of the foreign models.
DYI The Nanny State started in 1968 on vehicles requiring sidemarker lights and seatbelts. It's only gotten worse from there.
Got all of the import cars and missed 4 of the Detroit iron ( for good reason) Barges.
Interesting that I tend to get some categories right & miss others
Could you add the purchase new cost compared to today.
Maybe include some pictures of Australian manufactured Ford, and GM cars.
Missed the Duesenburg and the Bristol.
Am I missing something? Does this keep my tally or am I supposed to do that myself?
Probably for most this is not guess. I knew most, some I didn’t have clue!
I got 4 wrong which means I got 16 right. I mistook the Bristol for a BMW.
20/20
I can't get the video to accept any input so I can answer.
18. Didn't know the Deusy or the Montego.
18 out 20 and what is a Bristol
WRONG The buick is a 1960 NOT a 59. the 59's fin was round on the top. the 1960 was pointed as shown here
It’s a 59, the headlight position is a dead giveaway
1959 all the way, craig. Go eat your Captain Crunch, and leave the car knowledge to me and cjr!
Most of theses are very generational
No suck animal as a Cordoba 300. Ever. I think the '59 was an Invicta, not an Electra, but I digress.
agree
15/20the old ones got me
18 out of 20

Suggestions? Don't waste our time reading the choices.
I owned a 59 Invicta
The difference is in the hood of the car
