Before you start modifying your V6 you should know that you can open the top part of the door for your ‘panoramic’ view and Tragopan sell a large mesh window cover for the door specifically for that purpose. Also the eyelets at the top of each pole are to locate the poles for the optional rain cover. The guy attachment points are the tape loops a little lower down. Finally, it’s a good idea to keep the door zipped closed when you are erecting the hide as it keeps the shape better. I love mine!
thanks for the imput, a buddy of mine informed me just a couple of minutes after publishing the video, didn’t hit me before but make sense 😝 need to try it out next time! ☺️ thanks for watching!
Good video Andy! I agree with you regarding the narrow openings. You need to see what's going on outside without having to look through the camera. It looks quite easy to set up and also to fold it up. Thank you for showing the pro's and con's! By the way, beautiful forest, I love the all the moss on the ground!
Thank you so much for watching Gladys! A buddy of mine pointed out that you could always use the door to get a wider field of view. Just open it up halfway and hang a net over, nothing I've thought of myself but it's worth mentioning! It's really beautiful over there, early summer mornings the glade are just drowning in beautiful morning light!
Thank you Tom and you are properbly right. Darker mesh might work to conceal you a little bit, need to experiment with my own blind and see if it works or not 😝
@@AndyGustavsson i bodged one up years ago but left the window a bit big .my girlfriend dropped some bits off and mentioned she could see me mooching and moving around . so i shredded my shemagh to scrim it off the less light the better , plus that reflective material to keep your heat from escaping to fast will seep out faster with bigger windows .. sitting still really doesnt help in the cold months
Thank you! It was to obvious when I recorded the video and still after using the hide more I would gladly have a bit larger ”window”. I’m used to using the hokki blind so I’m quite spoiled with large window 🤪
@@KGsPhotography haha I bet! I've put up my ground blind a couple of times on a very popular dog walking route, too bad you can't see peoples faces when they discover you 😝😝
It does, depending on what type of chair you have. I use a camping chair, however it’s not the best solution for me due to the limited space for a comfortable session, I often find myself sitting up against the back of the hide in a very awkward position. For long sessions I would get the extra vestibule or the monal which are a little bit larger than this. Hope it helps!
@@AndyGustavsson theyre great in winter IF you keep yourself off the floor , a small tea light candle seriously warms a small space like that up ( used safely of course )
@@AndyGustavsson absolutely , iv seen the smaller brolly types being used in winter , this one looks great , although id like a bit more green in the camo , most woodland camo seems coloured for winter and stands out in spring and summer . otherwise it looks perfect ,

Great review Andy! I am in the market for another portable blind and your honest opinions help out tremendously!
Thank you so much Daniel! 😊🙏
thanks for sharing . , pretty good problem is with bigger windows they light up who ever is in the blind . making any movement more noticed
Thank you Tom and you are properbly right.

@@tomhughes5123 thanks for the input 👍😊
I'm interested of that photo-blind, and mine is old and not with those features. Thanks for your review!!
Thank you for watching! It’s a great hide for the money and there are improvements to be made but for a ”budget” hide it great! 😊
@@AndyGustavsson Yes, I've seen. Now I have only to decide when to buy it
Regarding bigger window You have the possibility to add mesh net to the door.

I am looking for another blind i think the tragopan will work for my
glad to hear!
Nice, I love mine👌
Thanks, it's a superb blind! 👍🙏
Thanks for sharing Andy. Something I would like to invest in but struggle to find locations I would use it in around here. Cheers Keith
Thank you Keith!
Well watching your videos I think you could put it up in many locations, depends on whether or not, you're allowed to?
@@AndyGustavsson many of my locations are very public so would feel a but daft....lol. I will have to scout more locations first.

Does it fit a chair inside of the hide?

nice one, great review buddy, im just about to pull the trigger on a hide lol 😉
Thank you so much!
I really like this one, would be perfect if there were larger windows but absolutly worth the money! 👍

@@tomhughes5123well you must have a chair in there otherwise it would be a very uncomfortable session :p
