I have YTTV. At first, the inability to DVR only new episodes and delete old ones bothered me. But now it's a non-issue, especially with unlimited storage.
I'm going into a month now with yttv and couldn't be happier. Saving an average of $80 from a cable bill that was over $250 /month. Not being able to delete single episodes and not getting MASN is kinda a bummer, though . I would gladly trade Monumental sports? For MASN in the DMV area. Not sure why monumental sports networks are even on yttv.
You should bring this issue up to viewers to see if I'm the only one with this issue. Again cloud dvr is scheduled to record for example at 5pm today but after 6 pm it still says scheduled to record not allowing you to watch the scheduled recording.
@MichaelSaves sling tv blue. They provide 50 hours of Cloud dvr but Has issues with the scheduled recordings. Continues to say scheduled after the scheduled program completed not allowing you to see the recording.
its a good deal but you should remeber whatever you choose you need also add the price of internet on top of whatever streaming service or services you get.
Thank you for so much valuable info. I do have a question tho, would streaming RUclips tv work best with TMobile 5G $40 a month where it sometimes lags due to weather or Spectrum internet $80 a month but with more stability. Thank you!
That’s up to you. I use T-Mobile Home Internet with no problems. I have some content on the channel about it. I think it’s worth trying for many households.
Well we have T-Mobile trial to see and it’s ok so far…lags a bit sometimes, especially when it’s cloudy or rainy while watching streaming tv…we’re in an apt but I have the gateway by the window.
I have both cable and most streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Disney etc. I also have just about every movie channel with my cable service as well. I have been exploring the different live streaming services to determine if cutting cable makes sense. So let’s assume I picked one of the better live streaming services and added all of the movie channels via streaming I now only get with cable. Let’s also assume that price was close to the same. One question that I have trouble finding the answer to is whether picture quality for live TV would be as good with the streaming services as it is with cable. I always thought it would be better, but that’s based on watching 4K movies and shows on, say, Netflix or Amazon Prime. But I’m less certain whether the picture quality (my primary concern) would be equal to or better for, say, a regional sports network like SNY? My main viewing is on an 85 inch 4K TV. Thoughts?
It’s going to be similar. But keep in mind most games are not in 4K on cable, satellite or a live TV service. I have a recent video that goes into more detail. ruclips.net/video/U23gssQeYWU/видео.htmlsi=VwcqXjxNhqW-kMgN
I had RUclips Tv but canceled it when they dropped MLB channel and raised prices. I use Prime Video with MLB and NBA channels. I’m good. I also have Samsung’s live channels for free. I do miss ESPN.
I had Directv satellite service for 24 years. I had to get my roof replaced so the roofers took down the dish. They placed it where they thought it was. I called Directv to get it dialed back to the satellite. They wanted me to pay for the service. I told them I had been a customer that had paid for their premium service for 24 years. She said no. I told her the dish was useless without being pointed. I reminded her of all the streaming services and to cancel. I get please comeback letters almost daily.
Hey I'm new to your channel I just want to say I found your video both entertaining and informative. It surprises me so many people love RUclips tv. It really is super expensive. I'm like you, I'm all about the deals lol.
We have had direct Tv for 24 years. Yep 24 YEARS Kids are all out this week.. getting rid of boxes .. looks like we are keeping one box . Just better off Then the other options ..
I gave up on it years ago. It turned into tattooed idiots shouting at each other while making motorcycles. No relation I could discern to actual history.
Can you help? I want to subscribe to youtubetv (coming from Comcast) we live part time in MD and part time in DE. Would we be able to watch from either State?
You can use it while traveling, yes. You will need to be back in your home location every few months. You can't use it in both houses simultaneously. Worth a shot!
I talk about some of my favorite free options here and will have an update soon that does not talk about expensive services at all: ruclips.net/video/ZO3Ce19MgBM/видео.html

Self-inflicted PAIN. 😢😢😢😢 Industry a HOT MESS. Forget TV 2024 . Sorry I don't want to deal with ANY of this. My best advice-- AVOID. ABORT your 2024 mission to stream; hook up, or cable or anything. I am a bit confused, you previously said you could not recommend RUclips Live and canceled your service, has anything changed to make you suggest it now?
Hi Bruce. I actually said that I would continue to recommend it to others, but I will no longer use it myself. That is the case. I don't subscribe to RUclips TV anymore, but I recently used a family member's account to update some content. I have Sling TV at the moment.

@@MichaelSaves I just looked it up and you're correct; I've got RUclips TV and they haven't picked it up as yet. Other alternative is an antenna but then no DVR😩 Thanks for responding!
Do you watch all 8 at the same time? All the services will let you download the app on all your devices. The restrictions are related to streams in use at the same time. That said, DIRECTV STREAM and Fubo have generous streams policies. With RUclips TV and Hulu Live, you can pay more for unlimited in-home streams. Definitely avoid Sling TV in your case.
@MichaelSaves I ended up going with RUclips TV. I switched from spectrum tv which had unlimited streams. I did pay for the unlimited streams. My daughter and son now use it in different locations, and all of my TVs work. I'm pretty happy with the service. Now I have to get use to the functionality of the new service. Haha

Michael - appreciate you! Great stuff
I wish Fubo had HDTV, my favorite channel.
We cut our cable last week.
I have Disney+, RUclips TV, ESPN+, and Paramount+
so in other words you don't own anything that you watch then ?
I received an email last night & sling is going up to $46/mo starting Dec! I’m on the blue plan
Yes. I’ll have more in my monthly news update video.
Which one has the best for sports??

For me Hulu live includes MLB network, and ESPN plus for college baseball. I liked the interface better on RUclips TV though.
Was considering Hulu, until they decided to increase their prices. Going with RUclips Tv.
@@izzy3166aren’t they same price

What is the streaming service that allows the most live streams? I have 8 TVs in my house.
Has fubo got TNT or TBs yet ?
No!
Sling TV Blue and Orange with an antenna is the way to go!
better yet sling blue and antenna 40-61(with total choice)a month no espn/ rsn channel but if thats important to u dtv has it for more.
I wish RUclipsTV had The History channel

@@ianbutler1983True. I have History on Sling but never use it. It’s not the channel it used to be.
Sling TV does!!
That’s why I went with HULU
For 6.99 a month I just added friendly to my services and has history channel and a few others that yttv doesn’t offer ! 👍
I REALLY wish Sling would drop locals from their Blue service, and lower the permanent price to $30 or $35 per month
Good luck on that soon blue will be 50.00 a month maybe more, they need cbs local and espn!good luck in that too.
Go with Philo. They are what you just described.
Especially cause no CBS for NFL games.
good

dropped nbc spoirts boston to watch celtics games

Yes, Fubo Free. But I think other free others are better. support.fubo.tv/hc/en-us/articles/27176011209869-How-does-Fubo-Free-work
