I spent Christmas in Guyana in 2018. I was there for a wedding. All the food was amazing. I am surprised that black cake didn’t make your list. Everything on your list is awesome so I’m sure it was a tough decision. Thank you for the walk down memory lane.
I'm so proud to hear my country name featured in this video and to see some of these dishes which reminds me of small days( the chicken foot 😁). Absolutely love it.
Love this video brought back so much memories my parents were missionaries there we moved to Venezuela from Guyana right before I turned 8 years old but I still remember very well the people the culture and of course the delicious food

@@anthonysopranos7396 Sparrow was born in Grenada another Caribbean island this guy was considered the king of calypso, lots of famous songs you would for sure get a really good laugh, pretty funny if you listen to the words of the song. the words don't necessarily mean what they say so you have to listen good it just a Caribbean thing.
@@DimSumBasic I know sparrow wasn't born I Trinidad. But he grew up there, that's why he became who he was. If you researched the mighty sparrow you will see!

Yes they do, also lots of different Caribbean islands guys sing calypso, such as Antigua and grenada look up the (might sparrow calypso )
