- This is the Devil's Canyon Trail in Chatsworth and you can do it as an out and back which is about a 5 mile climb and 1350 feet. Or you can get to it from the very top of Rocky Peak and then ride down.
It's mostly all singletrack and is steeper and faster on the top and then gets slower and more technical at the bottom with some rocky areas.

Heading to a thousand subs. Congrats. This channel is one of the best! Are you riding a Trek? An ebike?
Yep I'm looking forward to the big 1k. I am on a Trek Fuel EX 9.9. I do ride with people who have ebikes though.
What type bike do you have because I saw all you videos look like you bike is working perfect 👍
Looks fun kind of like monroe truck trail
What type bike do you have I watch all you videos look like you bike is working perfect 👍 i know is Trek but what model??
Its a Fuel EX 9.9
just recently subscribed to your channel I like the trails you ride. Good video! where do you park around there? thx. j
You can park on Poema Place up the hill by the condos.
@@MTBCommunity Thank you for the quick response! im gonna try this trail this week. Thanks again! Jes
At the beginning as you are going up, watch for a fork where it gets steep if you go to the left because you should actually go to the right. Both times we did this trail we went left on accident because it looked like the obvious way to go and we didn't even see the correct way.
@@MTBCommunity Thanks for that tip! ill be riding that one this weekend!
You think this would be just as fun on a rigid 29er?
I would think so. There is nothing too rough about it and everything is kind of rocky around here so if you can ride the other trails on your bike it should be fine.
Are you "itchy" from this ride?
I heard this trail has tons of poison oak. Only reason why I've have never rode it.
There is definitely poison oak there but its not really in the way plus it doesn't seem to bother me if I touch it for some reason.
I tried this trail once. It got all over my legs. I won't be going back without leg coverings. The overgrowth is significant.
How did you get to the top? Rocky Peak? Browns?
We just rode up Devil's Canyon. Its much easier than going up Rocky Peak plus you don't need a car at both locations. The climb is mellow but the steepest part is at the end.
@@MTBCommunity been watching your vids for a while. Saw you went down East Canyon. Have you ever done Mission Peak? And then down the pipeline trail?
Im not sure what you mean by East Canyon. Where is Mission Canyon?
Sorry. East Canyon is the trail that starts at the Old Road south of Towsley. Mission peak is about a mile south of the intersection at the top of East Canyon. If you are interested, mission peak trail starts at Neon near sesnon in Granada hills
Yep we have done all that stuff in the Rice Canyon area. We did a bunch of videos and mapped it out on Trailforks but the builders wanted it kept private so we removed it.
