I had a 50x90x16 Hybrid Metal Buiilding (Steel columns and trusses, wood girts and purlins) erected in NW Arkansas. I happened to be onsite when the builder was installing the corner trim. I was going to suggest he install the trim as you explained on this video. It turns out the guy was doing that exact process. He said, "Yeah, I watched Kyle on RR Buildings on you tube" I now have nice corner trim on my building. I'm learning so much from your channel. Thank you for sharing your trade.
Well done Greg. I really appreciate the attention to detail with explaining screwing the trim and avoiding the oil can affect. You guys are the best in the business.
OMG !!! you're attention to detail, is freaking out of this world. It's unbelievable. If Americans got back to doing this kind details to their work, It would bring America back to Glory. Like the 50's
You know the bad part about watching RR vids is that there are very few contractors who can live up to RRs level of care, expertise and quality. Most other buildings won't measure up and customers will be disappointed with their builds.
It says a lot about Kyle who wears many hats running a business but his biggest asset is his employee Greg and the training provided over the years has paid off, Kyle must be chuffed, well done to both of you.
The style of these buildings is fantastic. I have always used corrugated metal sheets to cover sheds and stables but never to cover the walls but looking at your buildings I like the result a lot. I'm thinking of renovating a small agricultural shed and with your videos I try to get ideas as much as possible.👍
That seems like a lot of work to get done while you're out but no one is better that side of the Mississippi. Greg gets so amused by you Kyle it's hilarious 😂 great looking work
Sheetmetal master Kyle.... fantastic work too Greg.. Love these build videos guys. From an older man, I say I'm envious of your agility. Keep the content coming.. I wish you every success.
The camera man has made a big difference I think. I've been watching your videos forever. It seems like you can show us things now that I've never seen before. You guys are great!
You are the real deal and do extremely high quality work if more contractors watched your videos and watched your work ethic this country would be so much better off in stead of most contractors just wanting to get in and out and make a fast buck as greg goes he is an excellent worker/partner I've watched all your videos and greg is more than just an employee if I owned the company I would make greg a partner he is truly your right hand man I'm sure you pay him well but it's only a matter of time before he will want to move on put yourself in his shoes just saying I have seen it a million times you guys work awsome together and life is short money is not everything keep up the excellent work.
It goes almost without saying but those versalifts are bonus for working anywhere onsite. Gotta level the ground all around the building for that which of course you did and it does help the property is basically flat, work goes so much smoother.
KYLE!!! Talk to your Festool or Milwaukee tool engineers...instead of smacking the end of your driver...the engineers can build into the driver that single impact to set the screw. The impact force can be adjusted by the user and it is activated by the trigger pull. I see a patent in it for you.
Hi, Thank you for producing these videos. I came across the subject of Helical Piles and thought it may interest RR. I'm an amateur so, I don't know if it applies to clay soil. Link to video in reply comment below.
Looks good, heros!... Question for you. Do you ever use butyl tape/tacky tape under the Gable trims? Sure, the screws are sealed by the rubber washer, but the penetration under the rake trim through the roof steel is not sealed. I've installed many metal roof systems, and tape is a must, in my opinion. Bending up the "dam" is an excellent bit of advice. Also, have you ever used rake trim instead of corner trim? The squirrel moment with the helicopter was good!
Should've walked back trying to fit that price in around the porch. Lower down the roof would have gave you more distance to fit around and walk it into place. 😉
I know you emphasize the importance of keeping the building columns isolated from the concrete slab. What do you do to keep the concrete off of the porch columns?
Excellent work! Been looking for a video showing how to tie exposed fastener metal roof into existing house vinyl siding. Can you let me know if you have a video explaining this?
I know I seen this in a past video and since have been noticing them all over in the structures in farm country up north of Toronto. Are you not putting those “Snow bars” on this large building
Thanks for the great vids@! which awl do you use or recommend when doing metal work? when hammering theru multiple sheets of metal for the screw holes.
Greg says he just needs an extra set of hands. I built Cleary buildings for 30 years, and am presently building Raglan buildings (5 years now). Would I be a worthy candidate ?
I have a few questions. Looking at the ground @2:58, I am assuming the concrete slab will be poured to the top of the grade board. Does the new concrete cover the top of the piers? If so, are there any issues down the road with cracking between or around the piers and the new slab?? I am a newbie at construction but have been watching your videos for years and think I might be able to put up my own post frame... hopefully... maybe someday 🙂 Thanks.
No sealant under the gable trim? How do you expect the water not to go under and not leak through the screw holes? IE the part between trim and roof panel has no rubber gasket - just he screw...
Question: If baseball size hail is a concern in extreme weather w/high winds; is 22 gauge steel on the roof going to protect the metal or is there anything that can be done?
Thinking about the walk door under the porch roof, what sort of threshold do the doors you use have? When we first moved into our current home, the walk door to the garage needed replaced, and what we found at Menards all seemed to have a ~1in thick threshold, and the slab is just flat through the rough opening. Are there doors with a thin threshold? What should I be asking / shopping for?
Greg is an excellent employee!!!
He is kissing up to the boss! Lol
Should be part owner
These guys go together like Abbot & Costello!
I wish I had help like Greg 😢
@@Donnie9by5 maybe you need to learn something about commitment and being a good employee.
Shout out to Greg, awesome to see you trust him on his own. Greg's deserved it, and has earned it, you have a great employee on your hands.
Good job Greg!! You deserve a raise!!!

Then I am reaching my goal of helping others awesome
Greg did a great job while you were away. Building is looking sweet
Gregg is the employee you want, quality, works hard, so basically you are creating a monster.....He will soon be your competition.....
Well done Greg. I really appreciate the attention to detail with explaining screwing the trim and avoiding the oil can affect. You guys are the best in the business.
Wow!!! Nice attention to detail. Greg appears to be a great employee.
Of course he is...
The corner trim looks great! Very clean look!
What a brilliant job you both are vert experienced building experts unbelievable skill 😅
OMG !!! you're attention to detail, is freaking out of this world. It's unbelievable. If Americans got back to doing this kind details to their work, It would bring America back to Glory. Like the 50's
True that, but production levels would be down because it takes longer to get Kyle's results.
Attention to detail love it!!
Hard to find good help don’t let him go ❤❤
Greg's shirt is very nice.👍👍👍♥
Everything you do, it is precise and there is an explanation for it. Job well done. I am sure the owners will cherish it for years to come.
Your metal work is just awesome. I have never seen anyone pay attention to the details like you guys do. You set the standard for the rest!
Now THAT my friends, is a job well done! Beautiful shop, extremely well built! Keep up the great work and fantastic content!
You know the bad part about watching RR vids is that there are very few contractors who can live up to RRs level of care, expertise and quality. Most other buildings won't measure up and customers will be disappointed with their builds.
that corner trim is PRO!! very great job
Hidden benefit to the 2 piece corner is damage repair in the future. Great job guys! Love the channel!
Greg did a phenomenal job
It says a lot about Kyle who wears many hats running a business but his biggest asset is his employee Greg and the training provided over the years has paid off, Kyle must be chuffed, well done to both of you.
Personal Opinion . . . . The style was OK, the colors are timely and current, the workmanship is impeccable. Nice job guys!
Another good video. Great to see Greg involved more in the video 👍
Iam glad MR.RR comeback
Happy Birthday Greg

That’s how I did the corners on the buildings we built in Alaska. Just added some clear silicone on all overlaps and other places. Nice work !
Love the project really nice
great job very nice work.
That seems like a lot of work to get done while you're out but no one is better that side of the Mississippi. Greg gets so amused by you Kyle it's hilarious 😂 great looking work

Comedy pro duo, love the explanation points
Awesome quality
Kyle u can put the caps on and if it needs adjustment pop the jam leaf of the hinge off 1 at a time and slip a 3” GRK in there & good to go!
Perfect shop love the coupelo and gable style porch ceder post look great with that color combo!
Super building! Getting ready to copy your approach on a 48’ x 36’ shop. Wish me luck!
Great looking building. Thanks
I now have a lot of screws to release on my building lol, great video
la verdad soy de México y me gusta mucho su contenido he aprendido mucho pero sobretodo lo profesional y bien hecho su trabajo
All killer, no filler
Love these colors.
Another master creation. Well done!
Greg's a legend 👍
Looks realy beautiful great jobb.👍
Another great build. Well done boys.
Excellent video. Very educational and extremely gratifying to see such amazing tradecraft and workmanship.
Another beautiful building, great work guys👍🏻
The camera man has made a big difference I think. I've been watching your videos forever. It seems like you can show us things now that I've never seen before. You guys are great!
that was my reason to finally hire someone.

Glad Greg finally got a microphone!!
It goes almost without saying but those versalifts are bonus for working anywhere onsite. Gotta level the ground all around the building for that which of course you did and it does help the property is basically flat, work goes so much smoother.
Kyle, looking forward to your own build some day, as previously mentioned.
Use some rib closures next time it will prevent heavy winds bringing in moisture.
beuatiful video,s

Great work 👏 Always fun to watch !
a slot punched hole may work to relieve the expansion/contraction where the screws go in the fascia...just a thought...awesome as usual
Kyle have you ever used double sided bulent tape on the ridge. We do that and also bend up the end of the sheet when we need to.
I got two hands Gregg let’s go!!😅
Perfeito, Greg.🇧🇷

You might commission an RR weather vane for all future cupolas.
What a great idea
Sealing up the ends of the roof panels would also keep insects like yellow jackets out.

Greg didn’t complain once…
(Like someone else did when he was gone 😆)
haha you have no clue!! lol
Oh, I think we do!
Dam u can almost stick the house inside this pole barn lol 😆
Looks good! Not sold on the white windows / doors though
I know you emphasize the importance of keeping the building columns isolated from the concrete slab. What do you do to keep the concrete off of the porch columns?
Dam - My like took it from 999 to 1k. Never had that happen before.
well thank you tbone
Wish you built shops in southern Nevada!
Excellent work! Been looking for a video showing how to tie exposed fastener metal roof into existing house vinyl siding. Can you let me know if you have a video explaining this?
what king of metal snips do you use? I have been trying to find a good pair.
Is the ridge cap exposed on the end gables? Should that not be under the end trims?
I know I seen this in a past video and since have been noticing them all over in the structures in farm country up north of Toronto. Are you not putting those “Snow bars” on this large building
that would be a great barnominium
Thanks for the great vids@! which awl do you use or recommend when doing metal work? when hammering theru multiple sheets of metal for the screw holes.
What are the best screws to use for trim to metal roofing panels and for rib to rib
Any benefit to put a little caulk in the mitre or joints on the trim? Or is there enough overlap that water is not going to penetrate?
Greg says he just needs an extra set of hands. I built Cleary buildings for 30 years, and am presently building Raglan buildings (5 years now). Would I be a worthy candidate ?
That roof is better in every way than 100% of all metal roofs ever installed in Australia.
Please can you send me some plans including material list I'm very excited about your videos great job.
I have a few questions.

Thanks.
I am in north Ga.
looks good! my question is what type screws are you using on the corner trim?
No gutters on this one? Thanks for filming Kyle. 😁👍
yes I don't do that work tho
Wonder if the floor is going to stay as is or is concrete going to be poured?
Good work Greg!
No sealant under the gable trim? How do you expect the water not to go under and not leak through the screw holes? IE the part between trim and roof panel has no rubber gasket - just he screw...
I think you guys forgot to tape your seems on the plywood on the porch roof like you guys always do or is it not needed ? Great work either way
38:00 Audio got missing up but captions works just fine.
How many working days?? So good!
Question: If baseball size hail is a concern in extreme weather w/high winds; is 22 gauge steel on the roof going to protect the metal or is there anything that can be done?
Volt ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
Is there a way to adapt a post frame structure to fit a Southwestern Adobe motif?
With Kyle out of the country, it appears productivity went thru the...roof. 🤣🤣
Do you use same size screws for everything? What is the head size?
Thinking about the walk door under the porch roof, what sort of threshold do the doors you use have?
