I liked it a lot! I too just finished two projects with that same sweet paper but still have a huge amount of cut aparts left :-( Ironically I also just did a 5x7 brag book to try to make a dent into them but it turned out to be more of a mini then anything else...oh well....Yours is much more streamlined and I will keep this great tut in my playlist for a future brag book....THANKS!!! Laura :-)
Hi everyone, Has anyone put patterned paper and then added photos to their pages? I’m wondering how thick it will eventually be? Thanks and have a great day!
Anna, I have two questions: 1. What is the size of your spine? 2. What if I want to be able to put pictures of the other side of the accordion; should I make my spine larger? Thanks.
Nicole Normand nicole, i think that you would have to leave the decorative paper off everywhere you want to place photos otherwise you are going to have an alligator mouth book. If you put photos on top of every page that has paper, the end of your book is going to expand like it is exploding! An option would be to stamp or write to "place photo here" in some blank pages and put some pretty paper on various pages but leave a picture off of tray page. Just speaking from experience. The book is super cute as it is but all the extra paper and then photo on top will make for an unattractive end product...unless you like that look. Another option to incorporate pretty paper on each page would be to increase the length of each page to say 4 1/4 x 8 and leave the 4 1/4 x 6 1x4 for your picture and the cut a strip of pretty paper to 1 1/2 x 4 1/4 to fil lup that 1 3/4 inch space you are left with from increasing the size of your page, which is what i would do. Its fun to look at the paper and a good way to use up scraps or to cut down on the amount of paper you use. I have oodles of this hello baby collection and its fun to work with!
